My first visit with a particular Endocrinologist was the worst. My wait to see the doctor was the longest ever. However, there was a nurse and even a resident doctor who continued to step in to talk to me. When the doctor finally came, this person was in/out. When I complained, the doctor came back and talked for a bit more and even quickly examined me. I was there for hours. Very unpleasant first visit with this doctor. But, I will continue with care. I'm hoping my next visit will be better.

I was pretty pleased with OSU OBGYN so I used OSU endocrinology for my thyroid and diabetic issues. Anytime I call it's always a long wait, and it takes forever to hear back from the doctor about anything. I usually have to call and bother them to get the answers I need. I'm not sure if they're understaffed and overbooked or what, but I really don't feel like I get the individual attention I need. They're all nice enough but I just don't feel like I'm taken seriously.

Seems like some people at this place needs to learn how to listen to their patients. The first appointment I had with them was so terrible that I had to fire the doctor on the first visit. Wouldn’t even look at the camera to introduce herself, didn’t send the right meds. Went to a second appointment, they talked about getting a new insulin pump and sensor for me. They said I would have to take a class on the new pump, which would be fine to learn about the new pump. I explain to them I didn’t want a diabetic class talking about counting carbs I’ve done multiple classes on it and understood how all that worked. They said, no it will be about the pump it’s self. Wasted a hour fifteenth minute drive and the time spent in the class to learn absolutely nothing about the new pump. Even told them that I was there to learn about the pump. Told me that’s another class. I explained that I already had this conversation with the nurse the appointment before, and was promised. I even told them at the appointment before that, that they didn’t listen the last time to the point of firing their doctor. I received the pump and told them once again that I need a class for “just the pump and sensor!” They now are telling me I can’t get into a class until the 30th. I explained to them the whole reason we had the first appointment was so I to get this sensor running so I have one that beeps if my sugar is getting low that way I don’t die in my sleep. This could have been taken care of multiple appointments/attempts before. They are wasting my time. Go back to medical school and take an anatomy class, because they can’t seem to find their own butts with their own two hands. Why had our medical professionals turn to absolute trash? Again try listening to your patients, this is ridiculous 😡. These people screw up everything, if I could put a -star I would. Don’t go absolute trash

Worst experience we have had by far with a endocrinologist. We have had so many problems with them not answering or sending wrong meds to pharmacy or just being rude. They told us the pump my husband had needed replaced asap and its been 2 months. In my opinion no one there cares. Only person that is worth talking to is a patient advocate. At least they listen.

I would give no stars if I could.
Worst experience that I’ve ever had at a Dr office that I waited 6 months to see.
The MAs are so rude. I spoke to several of them.
The Dr laughed at me when I was telling him what medical routes I’ve already taken to get answers to my symptoms with other Drs.
The Dr said some of my test that were ran by my Dr were high but didn’t want to do additional testing ( which is the whole reason I was referred there for further testing. ) to get answers because my family has a deep history with hormone issues, thyroid and diabetes.
They did absolutely nothing for me besides tell me to check my sugar for a week & call back if it ran high or low.

Endocrine department doesn't return calls, messages or seem to care about patients at all. No one can help with anything they just tell you how unfortunate that is. I'm trying to control my blood sugar with zero support from Endocrine department. They only prescribe the most expensive diabetes medications and do not seem to care about my financial situation. $20 for two medications is too much!

I have been going here for 6 months and have had nothing but frustration. Whenever you call the office it is an extremely long wait times. The pharmacy will send information back to the doctor and every time I am waiting for my medication, the doctor office says they never received information from the pharmacy or insurance. Amazingly when I make all these phone calls my medication is available. Twice I had to get a pre authorization and have waited 2-3 weeks before I was able to get my medication.
