Equitas Health Short North Medical Center

I’ve been struggling to find a primary care physician for some time. A friend will tell me about the best doctor ever and they show on insurance they are taking new patients but it seems after 7-8 attempts none are. I live next to Equitas Health and my brilliant daughter suggested I give them a try. Eureka! Dr. David Tessier is the best doctor ever lol. I could go on and on but imagine EVERYTHING you desire in a PCP and that is him. I couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff, the lab, the office, the on-site pharmacy—yes you read that correctly—all first class. I don’t know if they are accepting new patients but if they are run don’t walk because it doesn’t get any better than this.

This place is great, highly recommend scheduling an appointment here. All of the staff was quick, professional, and humorous. My visit was also free as they provide some services at no cost, where else can you find that in a for-profit healthcare system?? I like that they didn't have a super lengthy medical history questionnaire to fill out, all of the paperwork is concise. No hassle scheduling and check in. I can't remember their name, the two I saw for my appointment were awesome though, they actually made it a good time and completely painless. The only thing I did not like was their seemingly cavalier attitude toward security, given it's just off the street near a recently high-crime area. Did not see security staff or armed security, although they could have been in a back area. Would like the ability to carry concealed on the premises as permitted by law if they will not take this matter seriously.

I just simply want to take the time to say how pleased I’ve been with this company. My temporary case manager is Logan Gross and he’s been such an amazing human to work with. He’s passion for this job is outstanding!!! Since I’ve been assigned with him (Logan)- my experience with Equitas has been outstanding. He genuinely cares about our LGBTQ community. He’s always quick to respond and provide answers and guidance! Since I’ve worked with him- I’ve always felt so comfortable and cared for. We need more kind hearted individuals like Logan Gross!!!!! I’m very pleased!

This place is great, they will take care of all your health care needs, as well as some mental health needs and I believe they also will take care of dental needs as well. They
have an on-site Pharmacy that is just great, the pharmacy staff is friendly and you can tell they really care about your health. The staff is great, caring, and very kind. This is a great place for the LGBT community as they are very friendly to the community. this is also a great place to go if you are seeking medical treatment for transgender issues. I recommend this place 100%

This review is a few years overdue - but I wanted to share. Dr. Braun saved my life (literally) because he listened to me with compassion when I was experiencing a mental health crisis. I was referred to a mental health practitioner within Equitas, Trey, who was equally as helpful, compassionate, and understanding. I am surviving, and THRIVING today because of these providers and Equitas Health.

I have had such an AMAZING experience with this location!!! Logan Gross has gone above and BEYOND to get me resources and help in every area that I needed help with! The staff is so nice and work so hard to make sure I receive the best care possible for my unique situations!!!

Another pleasant interaction with Aria and Equitas' amazing staff! I'm baffled that there's a 1 star review because this is not a 1 star facility by ANY stretch. Have you ever met Tara or Karin? AMAZING PEOPLE! They're always attentive, positive and helpful. I want to give a special remark about Aria because she honestly makes my day. Her pleasant attitude and warmness makes me enjoy going in there. I honestly feel like she's the best possible person for that position. Their nurse practitioners and entire staff have saved my life, and for that, I'll forever be grateful. And rate you accordingly!

It was great my first time there process went fast and easy. Location is 35 miles away from my home but for now since it 1 time a month I'll deal with it. Thanks for your service. Life saving angels.

It was nice at the first visit, and it’s still nice, they are helping me with my medicine, Logan Gross helped me with my insurance, he is amazing!! I’m so thankful!!!

I get my prescriptions filled at Equitas, they are always very professional and efficient. I also got my Covid19 vaccination there, same efficient service.

Since no one else has said this, they are one of the only places in Central Ohio that operate as an informed consent clinic for getting on HRT.
