The Barrel and Bottle

Every beer on tap is a local brew. Gotta love that a local business is supporting other locals! I tried Land Grant's "Del Boca Vista" which was light but very flavorful. They have a full bar including a good wine list. Best of all, if you find something you like, just walk a few steps and purchase it from their shop. The bartender us the option to enjoy the food we bought at another stand in North Market or serve my beer in a traveller (IYKYK) so could eat upstairs.

Love this place.... Plenty of selections to choose from, all kinds of drinks I've never heard of. We love sitting in this little nook, its a peaceful little area... It's never too early for a spirit... discover at your own risk. It's also nice they have carry out options.

Small, quaint, but with a nice variety of wines in beer on tap and to purchase for taking home. Best part, you get your freshly poured beer or wine to go (plastic cup) and enjoy waking around the North Market taking in all the offerings!

Wandering through the North Market my husband was distracted by this small bar in the middle of all the hustle & bustle. He ordered us a couple Bloody Marys and oh my, they were delicious. It was nice to find a quiet spot to people watch for a little while.

Really great spot in the North Market to either sit and enjoy a beer or find a great beer or bottle of wine to take home. The selection of both is excellent and everyone there is friendly and helpful.

I always have a positive experience at Barrel and Bottle. The staff is friendly & eager to help. I appreciate their knowledgeable suggestions and laid back atmosphere. Recently, I wanted to purchase a nice bottle of wine for a colleague and admittingly, don't know the first thing about wine. I reached out to them via Instagram message and asked if they had any suggestions based on the things I was looking for: region/white v. red/price range... they answered my message quickly and gave me a few options. They even held the bottle I wanted so that I could pick it up on my lunch break. One staff member helped me with wine bag selection too. My colleague loved the wine I chose for him. Thanks B&B!

I really couldn't wait to try any of the recommended beers before posting this review because I had to gush on the amazing customer service.

I stopped in on my way back to Nashville, not being too familiar with OH craft beers. I walked in, and right away one of the employees asked if I needed assistance. I asked for her top 8 selections and boom, boom, boom, done. She also just happened to be the beer buyer, and I'm sorry I didn't get her name. Either way, her customer service was awesome, the vibe in the store was awesome, and the market setting was awesome!

I will definitely be back for more beers the next time I'm in Columbus.

This place is a must stop while @ the North Market. Visiting from Atlanta & Whitney there was amazing! She was super cool & friendly & engaging. Sold us a couple of very good beers. Even shared some really interesting information & stories about some of the beer they carried. She made our visit 5*

Wonderful selection of wine and beer with knowledgeable staff to help make your selections perfect. Sip and Stroll is such a great newish feature...you can grab a glass of wine, and then do your North Market shopping, or just hang out here or on the patio. Perfection!

Hands down, best beer and wine shop in Columbus per sq ft. Stopped in Sunday and Jon served me a cold pint of local craft beer. Sarah recommend a fantastic Chateauneuf du Pape for my wife and I's wedding anniversary. Check out this hidden gem in the North Market.

Great cocktails, even to go (yes, really, but just inside the North Market). Excellent selection of bitters and a variety of wines.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, gladly making recommendation and suggestions. The selection on tap is top notch and they've got plenty in bottle to pick from.

So. Much. Beer. (And wine if that's more your thing). The staff is friendly, and they have a nice selection of beer on tap to try too.

Been here a few times when I am in Columbus and every time I walk in I get AWESOME customer service and great recommendations.

Unbelievable selection for a place of this size. Drafts and bartenders always bring a smile to my face.
