Every appetizers bite was bursting flavors. I liked that they had mocktails that tasted and looked so good. The portions were just enough. Our server was great and his suggestions were recommended. My girlfriend had duck and I had the steak that had some caramelize. I would definitely come back. The atmosphere was narrow and the lower floor though it created a little more privacy, some parts were more lit than others. Bathroom was nice and clean. They had basic essentials in there but it was on a different floor.

There are not enough kind words for [‘plas]. My husband and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a special meal. Every time we come in we’re served unique flavors and ingredients and usually at least one dish that we will think about forever.

The only sad part is when it’s a special dish that I know I wont be able to get again!

The staff are kind and work as a team to make sure everyone in the restaurant feels at ease and is able to enjoy their meal. This place is truly a gem in Columbus.

We’ve eaten on the main floor and the wine cellar and both were unique and warm experiences.

This was a fantastic surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we got the tasting menu and it was delightful. I didn't see it online when I looked, but it was listed at the bottom of the paper menu when we visited. The sommelier who paired the wines to each dish was great with information and stories about each wine we tried, and the dishes were fantastic, good variety, excellent flavor! Will definitely be back!

The only incredibly minor nit i have is that the "cellar" wasn't my favorite seating personally, I think next time I'd prefer to eat upstairs.

What a lovely anniversary dinner at Plas! The team was very thoughtful with our reservation and the food portions were generous! We loved the Spirit free menu as well. We would recommend to get the charcuterie board there. Also, it was great to find some delicious Italian food in columbus.

Absolutely exquisite cuisine. Carefully prepared and intentional. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and the management clearly cares about their customers.

Their happy hour is extraordinarily affordable and a really obvious choice.

My partner and I have been coming here since ['plas] opened. What Chef Jamie, Eric and Jackie have created is special and worth checking out (and coming back to, again and again). Within a single visit we were recognized and treated as friends. The food is always top notch, the atmosphere is always friendly, and the whole team is dedicated to a great experience. The whole restaurant has the vibe of being a high quality neighborhood hangout, where experience and quality don’t feel pretentious. Definitely one of our absolute favorites.

Had an awesome Chef's Whim course meal at 'plas. The waiter was attentive and took care of our every need. The premium wine pairings and spirit free pairings were perfect, and well thought of and named very well. The bar manager explained every drink to great detail which made the experience even better.

5 course meal: started with a lobster roll which was delicious on these soft bread croutons. Fresh and lots of lobster. Second course was a watermelon salad, which was pretty good with the house made feta. Third was a crab cake canteloni which was different; combination of crab cake wrapped in a pasta. Spicy! Fourth is a Gunpowder Spiced NY Strip Brick Steak, which was simple with tomatoes and arugula. Some pieces of steak had a tendon in it so it was a little tough, but rest was great. Finished off with a trio of sweets n things, which was a chocolate mousse, a fudge with caramel, and a bread with a jelly. Rich and delicious, perfect with the bitter espresso.

All in all it was delicious. I'm not sure what I expected. I did want the chef's whim menu to be a little more different than the other offered foods, but the most dishes were what you could order from the menu. The staff made the night perfect! Much recommended!

Blown away with the Charcuterie prepared by [‘plas]! Eric created an explosion of flavors and textures with a custom “map” of meats, house made cheese and other goodies!! Rave reviews from our guests!! My favorite - although difficult to choose - is the duck prosciutto, house made ricotta and house pickles/peppers, accompanied with lovely focaccia!! Thanks for creating great food!!

Great place to eat! The food was amazing and I really enjoy how they change the menu along with the seasons! I’ve enjoyed the menu every time I’ve gone there and this time was no different. The porcini mushroom crème caramel and chef’s handmade ricotta were both amazing. They had a good balance of sweet and savory. The pan seared lamb short loin was also great, the sweet raisins worked surprisingly well with the lamb!

A truly phenomenal experience. Blown away with the Autumn menu. Chef Jamie is highly creative and thoughtful with every dish. The unique blends of flavor and texture are superb. Fresh quality ingredients that are balanced to perfection. The presentation of every dish are stunning. The ambience and hospitality 10/10. I also was impressed with the quality of dishes that are vegan, vegetarian and gluten free friendly. If you are a wine lover they have some of the best selection in town. Every season they develop a new menu so the excitement never stops! Cannot wait to come back again.

We've lived in Columbus 3 years now and this is my FAVORITE restaurant in the city. You can not be the atmosphere (patio in the summer is spot on). It cozy and intimate, great for a date night or night out with friends.

The staff makes the experience, you feel like you are visiting a friend in their home. Their warmth & kindness is unmatched and I hands down recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.

And let's not forget about the food & drinks. I've traveled the world and Chef get its it. We've had everything from the tasting menus to the individual dishes and they do not disappoint! The drinks complaint all the above and they are always coming up with something you!

Five stars all the way! Cheers

I was really impressed by the level of hospitality and detail in the service and food here last night. Each time I visit, it gets better. Forget Chapman's Eat Market, this is Columbus' best new restaurant! NY Strip Brick Steak / Argentinian Red Shrimp Carbonara (with squid ink pasta and lobster butter cream 🤤) / Shrimp Caesar Panzanella / Chef's Fresh Mozzarella 😍

We found this place on a Google search of the best restaurants in Cbus…it did not disappoint! We were lucky enough to be seated downstairs in the wine cellar which was unique and more intimate. The focaccia bread was incredible + our waiter (Jake) told us that the chef makes a new butter each week!

We ordered the pumpkin appetizer which was out of this world!! Sounds odd but I highly recommend it! We also ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer which was equally as delicious.

For our entrees we ordered the lamb shank and the sweet potato gnocchi - outstanding! We asked for freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the gnocchi which was a game changer!!

Of course we couldn’t leave without dessert so we had the pistachio cheesecake and the gelato panini- we were stuffed to the brim but we had absolutely no regrets!

We can’t wait to come back to try other delicious menu items!

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at plas in the wine cellar and truly cannot say enough good things about this place - the service, the food, the environment, everything was perfection and they were wonderful to work with. They gave us so much creative freedom to create a custom menu for our event, especially since we had a couple guests with dietary restrictions. The staff was INCREDIBLE - super friendly and accommodating. They were absolutely wonderful and would recommend hosting your special gathering with plas!

This place is a must try and currently a hidden gem. 💎 My mother read about the restaurant in the Dispatch and decided it sounded like something I would enjoy. Well, she was correct. Both of us were taken by surprise once we entered the very unassuming brick building. The owners made perfect use of all the space: from the very open but not overwhelming kitchen, a nice sized well stocked bar (excellent bartender included), a wealth of live plants and fresh cut flowers, and enough room for a good sized crowd. Minimalist but not overly trendy i think the decor exudes. This is a refreshing addition to the Short North area.

THE FOOD! OMG! I have dined at many restaurants in several cities, states and countries (5 Star, Michelin stars - you name it). Plas can be placed with the very best. Here you come for quality and taste. Each item was complex but not over the top. The combinations were so unique that I wanted to try everything; this just means I'll have to come back a few more times. Also, I was told the menu is about to change to the Summer menu. I can't wait to see what's new. I will assume the focaccia and butter stays. :)

Finally, our excellent server, Doug, convinced us to try the deconstructed tiramisu - Thanks! Try it.

And I can not forget nor say enough about the executive chef. He truly loves his profession and you can see it the whole time he is there perfecting his craft. He greets you on the way in and is personable throughout dinner. Truly a wonderful human.

Next time I am there I think I will try out the adorable patio.

This was easily the best experience we've had in Columbus in some time. The service was exquisite, from the hostess, the managers, and our server, Tess, were all super friendly, knowledgeable, and just outright amazing.

The food was just, wow. I am mildly obsessed with the autumn menu! We ordered the Lobster Arrabiata that was absolutely decadent with a ton of perfectly cooked lobster and the Truffle Crusted Strip Filet that was served with the most magical Bone Marrow Creme Brulee. Dessert beverages were amazing, so was the espresso pots de creme. Start to finish everything was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to come back!

This is my second dinner at 'plas, and we nearly devoured each plate without getting pictures to review AGAIN, because I was too excited to think before digging in. Just trust me that these were art before we annihilated them.

We started with a couple Firesides to drink. I admit to being a lightweight, but I felt that drink before it was half gone. It's a great blend of flavors that are beautifully complimented by the smoked cherries. The giant stamped ice cube is a wonderful touch. I really love this drink.

The bread service had a delicious smokey cheese with pickled goodies, microgreens, and a bit of balsamic. I only managed to capture the very last bite, but you can see all the deliciousness tucked in there.

I really wanted to love Paris' Prize, which I would describe as a garlicky appletini. It ended up pairing well with my main course, but the garlic molasses was a bit too strong for me to enjoy on its own. My husband and I ordered the lamb, and the ribeye, and split the plates. The ribeye was a perfect rare, and the sweet corn mash worked wonderfully against the acidity of the tomatoes. The lamb was really good, too, but I think I did it a disservice by enjoying it alongside such a tender cut of beef. The risotto was exactly the right texture, and the red cabbage tomato slaw and cucumber yogurt cheese blended into it to make what was possibly my favorite flavor combination of the night.

One of my favorite aspects of this meal was how each flavor in every dish played off of one another. To get the full affect of a plate, you HAVE to get a bite with a little bit of everything. Not ideal for those who can't tolerate their food touching. I was a bit worried about finding something for my 9yo, but we opted for the blueberry chile pork sausage with the maple Johnny cakes, and he ate the whole thing on his own, with compliments to the chef.

Overall great night with great food, drinks, and company.

One of the best meals we've had in ages! Every bit of food we had was delicious, and our server Dough was absolutely top-notch. Big recommendation for the maple smoked duck carbonara, and the bread pudding dessert. Looking forward to returning!

From the menu, ‘plas looked excellent. But our experience exceeded our expectations. The host and servers were warm and friendly, attentive and spot on in their recommendations. The food was excellent, vegetarian friendly (if desired) and fresh, while also beautifully seasonal. The drinks were thoughtfully crafted and not overbearing. The environment was intimate and quiet enough for conversation (which was very much appreciated). Overall an excellent meal and experience, would absolutely recommend for a date night or dinner with friends!

We recently ate here when Chef Jamie had an end of year tasting menu. All I can say is WOW. The food was fantastic! We were there for a 40th birthday and Jamie and his team made sire we felt welcomed and left with full bellies.

Since the menu changes each season (which more restaurants need to do) most of what we had will be unavailable but if you have a chance to get the lamb ragu...do it!

Servers were very attentive and friendly and always made sure we had water, drinks and clean plates for each course.
