I did this program all my years of high school and I’m gonna be honest, this school is great. All of these bad reviews are probably from children who hate doing online school. The teachers are quick to respond to students, mabye about a 5 or 10min wait. They are super polite, and well respected and help you if you need help or stuck. I don’t know why all the kids on the reviews are complaining about the teachers calling them the “wrong gender name” or whatever. They aren’t perfect and they call you the name you where given at birth(its in there system) they do try there best to see what you would like to be called. I know that because they ask very begging of the year if you would want to be called something different. I honestly would recommend this school to any one who is looking for a online school because it’s amazing and so are the teachers.

Pretty Shakey communication, and like a previous review states, it's questionable if you're a trans student let's be fr. You can get your name changed on brightspace but its like entirely up to the teacher if they feel like using your deadname in an email ANYWAYS, or in your accounts/emails for external programs to access classwork.
You will just be told it's how it's programmed don't even try. Probably will never propose a fix to this system or put in any effort to change it for comfortability of students either I suppose.

Questionable experiences the 3-4 years I have gone here.

I don’t think I’d ever recommend someone going here. Staff are incredibly rude and don’t care. If you can get ahold of someone. Props to you if you can. Super disorganized and my guidance counselor was a mess. I am supposed to be the child in this situation however I’ve had to communicate like and adult talking to children. Teachers didn’t even teach and just send the student YouTube videos on how to do Algebra. I can’t stress this enough but don’t go here find another online school.

I have two daughters here currently and having issues with getting ahold of anyone. They log in but the attendance not tracking. When I called to report it they tell me it’s the child fault for not logging on but they sit next to me and I see them logged on. Everyone I try talk to about this issue pushes it off to another person. Then I get no response just emails. Not one time has anyone from this company called me back this issue. I get rude emails from the attendance officer and told to call help desk and no one calls me back.

horrible experience for any non cis or straight students. constitution here basically turns into INSTITUTION. ZERO proper workarounds for ANY transgender students, especially considering the lack of communication at ANY given time, forced names, and forced emails, which, if called about, will result in you being basically scooted under the rug. if you care about or have any transgender children DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. they have deadname remover blocked from their laptops and also practically never answer their requests for better transgender treatment. i’m switching schools this summer, only been here a few weeks and i’m already appalled at the lack of support from these “staff” members.

You might be able to get a diploma from them, if you can navigate the technical systems they use and those systems work appropriately for you. The course material is a breeze and expectations are bare minimum, which leaves the kids and students more emotional bandwidth to deal with the headaches at Treca.

The school is a joke. My granddaughter is 6 to 8 hours a day online. And being told she isn't online . Attendance office calling telling us she isn't online but the receptionist says she sees where she is .And to top it all off. 2 weeks of school and we just got printer and scanner .Don't use this online school. Only put 1 star because it wouldn't let me do 0
