McCabe Do it Center

If your grandfather and little brother worked at the same store and your aunt was the cashier, this would be it. Friendly, small town hardware store with a little bit of everything...even a US Post Office inside. Prices are reasonable considering it's quick grab and they have things long ago discontinued by the big box stores. In fact, if you've got an idea to build a thingamabob out of whatchamacallits, I guarantee you'll find just the doohickies you need in one of their many, MANY parts bins/drawers. Some things are actually cheaper at McCabe. I like it that I can buy ONE bolt or assembly without having to buy a 10 lb. Contractor Quantity.
No waiting in line. Friendly and helpful. They'll special order anything you ask for. Propane refills. They'll carry to your car. Light Bulbs to Lawnmowers and everything in between! What's not to love?

I was very impressed when I went to see if they carried my size filters for my apt. furnace. Yes, indeed. I tried Home Depot and Lowes, and neither one had my size in stock. Very nice hardware store.

My family has only ever great experiences here. Their prices are a little higher than other places but I like to support local small business. It costs them more to do business but we need local mom and pop stores. I love that they are so close and their staff is super helpful and friendly.

Service is always great here. The prices may be a little bit higher on some items but I like the personal service you get here so I'm willing to pay a little more for that

For a small town hardware store they I can usually.findnwhat I need to finish a job there. I also try to avoid the big chains in support of locally.owned businesses. Wish more did the same.

Great local hardware store! They carry a nice variety of tools, hardware, gardening items, paints, and even a small post office.

I was looking for a specific part for a dryer vent that I couldn't find. A staff member pointed me exactly where I needed to be. Always great customer service when I stop in!

The employees at McCabe are always helpful. They give good advice if you need it. They know where everything is located in the store. It is not the most affordable hardware store, but when you are supporting a small business, paying the extra price is worth it.

Good amount of stock in a well laid out store. The cashier Matthew pointed me in the right direction when I came in to buy some fuses. Much better proposition than the trek to Home Depot for more common items. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hardware store. Have essentially everything you could need. The employees are very helpful and polite as well. I had questions about some wall anchors and was promptly and quickly helped. Thank you!

You know, we all understand that the little hardware stores like this are more expensive, but these guys aren’t really that horrible and they’re always nice and friendly and willing to help

Always a great experience when I come here. It's typically for USPS, but the few times I've been through for a hardware need, the staff is always extremely friendly & helpful. Would recommend a hundred times over to anyone in the area looking to avoid the big box hardware guys.

I am SO glad to not make trips to the time-sucking big box stores (Home Depot or Lowe’s). Don’t think because it’s small that they don’t have what you need. They are well-stocked with all the basics but without all the bells and whistles. Need something? Call or check with them before tripping to HD. I’m in and out in minutes and the staff are always so helpful.

Good stock. Knowledgeable staff at the desk in the back but you do have to ring the bell. Double check loose hardware stock you buy from the fastener bins to make sure it's all the same exact item.

Love this store. Some items seem just a bit more but the money you save on gas is well worth it. Friendly staff. Always helpful. Also has post office and pshipping supplies in the store. Convenient

Had a major plumbing issue and not one but two employees helped explain everything so I could do it myself. They didn't have everything I needed since it was a 60 year old plumbing fixtures but they offered to order it and also told me where I could find the rest of the parts. I have never been so impressed.

This past January my furnace broke at the coldest time of the year! I was unable to get it repaired in time for the 8 degree weather. I called McCabes requested if they had any oil heaters in stock and they did! I went in and they had them saved for me as they promised. They were really nice and brought them out to my car and helped me put them in. It saved my life! Thank You JEREMY at McCabes!

Went to the post office inside the store. Was nice they are open until 6 since most close at 5 and it was already 5:15. Thanks for the tip mom!

Great friendly workers. Seems so much smaller than a Home Depot or Lowes but they have almost everything you need including associates that want to help you.
