Never disappoints. Best biscuits and gravy without a doubt. Even better than your grandma’s recipe, guaranteed. Everything is made from scratch, included the biscuits. Everything else on the menu is very good as well. Sometimes there is a decent wait to order/get food, but all good things, like this food, is well worth the wait.

Imagine going to a friend's house for a casual brunch party. No pre made food, they ask what you want from a list of options. They then proceed to make each meal for their guest individually. To perfection. That is this place.
Small, put in your order and grab a seat. Chat with your companion(s) play on your phone- occupy some time while your meal is prepared (in the order it was received).
The food comes out on a tray in pie tin. I dont care for "home fries" and was disappointed so see that was the option. O. M. G!! They are seasoned and crispy on the outside. I am embarrassed we asked for ketchup. DONT ASK FOR KETCHUP. YOU DO NOT NEED IT! I cleared my plate down to the crumbs. I had the meat omelette. Oh yah, the side sausge patty was not a store bought little circle. This appeared to be hand pressed. Very tasty.
My boyfriend had the cinnamon sugar pancakes. I had a small bite that just burst with flavor.
Is it fancy? No. Do you have to work a bit... I mean, you put your order in, but they bring it to you and come around. If you need a refill you can wait or get up off your entitled butt and go ask for one.
Why you ask? Because you are at your friend's house and they just did all the cooking and cleaning.
To all the negative reviewers- dont go to a small town cafe if you do not want personable small town service. This place is cute. The staff are like family. Maybe they are. Give'em a break. They are serving you. Enjoy the food they cooked. It is good. It is not a french gourmet restaurant. It is HOME COOKED FOOD!
Forgot to add the bill came to under $30 for the two of us. 100% recommend if you are not a "karen" type.

We've come here twice so far, great little place, great food, absolutely worth coming by if youre looking for a place for lunch in town. We'll definitely be by more often.

Great little spot that has a throwback vibe. I'm not sure if additional eggs can be added to their omelets. It appears to be a 2-person show, so it runs at a little slower pace.

I came here looking for a nice place to have a quality breakfast. I love it. The customers all seemed happy and satisfied. There were people of all ages and the place is quiet and laid back. Everything is made with love and FRESH! I had an opportunity to get my order taken by the owner Joe who is also the cook. While he was taking the order he took his time and made sure I got what I wanted even though I took my sweet time ordering and it was very busy. I love the culture and decor. It’s a nice family environment. I can’t wait to come back with my husband to try lunch. It’s also 12:50 while I’m writing this and they are serving me breakfast. 🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰. Can’t beat it. Thank you cherry street cafe and thank you Joe for recommending the pancakes they are amazing. (I’m a French toast girl) I will be back! This place is a good find. I got up twice adding things to my meal order with no hesitation he applied them and gave me the best breakfast I had i had in Cincinnati so far. (New to the area).

Great food, right by the trains in downtown Lebanon. Well priced too. There is often a wait because it’s a small place, but worth it.

One of the best cafes in this part of the country. My only complaint is I wish I had room for breakfast too! I ordered a house salad and grilled chicken club. The club came fresh on their homemade bread! The price is what you would expect at any comparable restaurant. Also comes with an amazing view of the trains/depot here in Lebanon.

Excellent Southwestern Omelet. Home fries are phenomenal. Bacon was delicious and the coffee was perfect. Everything is full of flavor definitely a step above the other restaurants in town.

Absolute banger of an experience and a hidden gem. This is a home cooked, 1-man show kind of experience so don’t come expecting to be seated right away or get your food immediately. Worth every second of the wait and I highly recommend anything that comes with the homefries. The sausage gravy and biscuits are awesome as well. We will definitely be coming back to try out different items on the menu.

Wonderful Cafe with Pepsi and great food. Definitely adding this to #PepsiStops. Breakfast, Burgers, Sandwiches and more. I had a wonderful Pot Roast Grilled Cheese while the rest of the family had breakfast. Wife said the French Toast just melts in your mouth.

This is a hidden gem in Lebanon Ohio. If you want a good meal for the right price. This is the place to go. It gets 5 stars from me! The staff was friendly. Very clean. There is outdoor seating area. Bring the kids and enjoy a great meal. Great place for a day date. Stop in today and check it out!!

Ordered omelet, and sausage gravy and biscuits. Man. Everything is obviously made from scratch and FANTASTIC. Give yourself some extra time if ordering gravy because it is actually made to order. We read the good reviews and were still surprised at how fantastic the food is. Just come eat here.

Best breakfast I'd had in years... no joke. Everything homemade, including the bread and sausage, and man, it shows... The biscuits and gravy were tremendous. I mean, look at this picture- so much glorious sausage. One of the reviews for this place COMPLAINED about the amount of sausage... I mean, can you even imagine thinking that was a negative? Friends, what are we doing with our lives if we are spending even one millisecond groaning about a sausage surplus? We are wasting them, and you are wasting your stomach space, money, and precious time on this here planet if you go anywhere else for breakfast. 5 thousand stars.

Love the food and the chef is great. My over medium eggs were perfect!

I had the Biskets and Gravy with Hashbrowns. The Hashbrowns were seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. I knew from the first bite that I was in for a great breakfast. The Biskets were nice and fluffy. The sausage gravy was excellent. All of it was seasoned perfectly and was not to salty. The service was excellent and our food came in a short amount of time.
I will definitely make this a regular breakfast stop whenever I'm in Lebanon Ohio.

I had to have the Biskets and Gravy again to see if they were as good as last time. They were! I highly recommend the Cherry Street Cafe for breakfast if you're ever in Lebanon Ohio.

If you’re looking for a delicious, affordable breakfast near Lebanon, Cherry Street Cafe is top notch! My boyfriend and I had breakfast here and it was incredible! The home fries are seasoned so well and the Sausage Biscuits and Gravy is likely the best we’ve ever had! Definitely tasted homemade in the best way. The chef/owner gave us amazing service, even when he was the only one working while taking the orders of other guests and also serving. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
