I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. St. Clair and his Physician Assistants Alexis Diglio and Steven Palte and I can confidently say that they are an exceptional physicians. From the moment I walked into their office, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism.

Dr. St.Clair and his Physician Assistants possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise in their field. They all took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and treatment options, ensuring that I felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. Their office staff is attentive, organized, and friendly while certifying you have completed all paperwork and insurance requirements. Their patience and willingness to answer all my questions made me feel like I was in the best hands possible.

What truly sets their team apart is their genuine care and compassion for their patients. They went above and beyond to ensure I received the best possible care, and their follow-up and support after my visits were outstanding.

I’ve had one surgery and am preparing for a second and would highly recommend Dr. St. Clair and his team to anyone seeking top-notch medical care. Their dedication to their patients' well-being is truly commendable, and I am grateful for the positive impact they have had on my health and overall well-being.

Finding Dr. St. Claire was a blessing. I initially met him when he was 4 years old in Trinidad and I was 17. We grew up on adjacent streets in our home village and our fathers did business together. Having been 13 years older, our lives went in separate ways for many decades.

For the past 20 years or so I have suffered with excruciating back pain. This went from my mid to lower back, through my buttocks and down my legs. To say I had sciatic pain was a large understatement. This was the kind of pain I thought I would have to live with and would ultimately be my demise. I also had lost my grip and had pain in my arms and hands. My daughter insist I seek help to see if there were even options for treatment. I met with several doctors in my home state of California. All of whom had bandaid treatments that barely took the edge off. I wasn’t making the progress I hoped and felt defeated in my quest for a good doctor.

In February of 2023 I visited my younger brother in Trinidad. He mentioned Selvon, and that he was a doctor. I searched my brain to remember the little boy I had met as a teenager. We had no idea what kind of doctor he was. My brother called Dr. Saint Claire late at night to ask. He miraculously picked up the phone and I was able to chat with him about my ongoing issues. He told me he is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spine surgery. What were the chances of that?!

I sent Dr. Saint Claire my MRI, he had me book an appointment as soon as I could, in March I flew to Lima, Ohio with my daughter for my consultation. Dr. Saint Claire found issues that the other doctors hadn’t even mentioned. Not only did I need a very extensive spinal surgery, I needed an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. He booked me for both surgeries that day.

My ACDF went perfectly. He did the whole process in an hour and a half. I was up and walking within a few hours of surgery. This surgery is very uncomfortable as the doctor needs to enter from the front of the neck. I am 4 months post op and feel great. The pain I used to feel in my arms and hands was gone when I woke up. I have my grip back and feel a lot stronger than before. The recovery was tough but expected, this procedure was life changing for me.

For my lower back, Dr. Saint Claire performed a spinal decompression from L1-S2 and an ulterior fusion. During the surgery, the doctor found that I had extensive bone spurs and scar tissue that had grown into my nerves. This was the main cause of my pain. Dr. Saint Claire performed my surgery perfectly with no complications. He was able to remove all of the scar tissue and bone spurs. When I woke up, the pain that had gone down my legs for 2 decades was gone and I wept. It was a miraculous feeling and I felt so incredibly lucky and blessed to have reconnected with Dr. Saint Claire.

I am now about 8 weeks post op from my spine surgery and 4 months post op from the ACDF. It has been a touch recovery but I feel amazing. This was absolutely life changing for me. I feel like a brand new person. I never thought that I would be able to live my life fully again. I can’t express how grateful I am to Dr. Saint Claire and I would go above and beyond to refer anyone who is seeking an orthopedic surgeon.

I faithfully wore my neck stemulater and I'm doing real well. Dr. St Clair done an excellent job on my neck. He done 3 through 7 in my neck. I'm doing well.

Dr. St. Clair is an amazing doctor. This is my first surgery of two. He performed an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. It went spectacularly well. I recovered very quickly. When i woke from surgery all of my arm pain was gone. I look forward to my lumbar surgery with him.

Dr. St Clair is an amazing surgeon, with a great bedside manner. He listens to you and answers all your questions. He fused my neck in December 2022 and I've had little to no pain. I would absolutely recommend him!!

Amazing surgeon he preformed A fusion and decompression on my lower back. I had minimal to no pain. He has a great bedside manner and amazing staff. I had my surgery done at the OIO surgical center in Lima. I received 10 out of 10 care from the nurses. I would recommend him to everyone

Dr St Clair is an all around great guy ,he has performed 2 procedures on me ,and he is an excellent surgeon I would recommend anyone that needs an orthopedic doctor to see him . Dr St Clair is great!! I went 3 years with serious back pain and doing therepy and injections that wasn't helping. I got a second opinion from him and we did surgery and it was the best decision I've made. The hospital in lima was also wonderful. The staff there were Soo nice and caring. Best surgery experience I've ever had. I highly recommend OIO for orthopedic issues or surgery. My life changed when I met Dr St Clair!!

Had a great experience today. Staff was very friendly. The wait wasn’t very long either . Dr St Clair was amazing. Super honest and I loved that most about him. Normally doctors would do what they could to get the most money out of me because I have AMAZING insurance. But Dr St Clair was so professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!! I can't say enough about Dr. St. Clair and his staff. I had suffered with sciatic nerve pain for 8 months. I was referred to St. Clair which changed my life! St. Clair did my low back surgery... He did a great job and felt better than I have in YEARS! Today I had to see Dr.St.Clair for my neck and upper back. I didn't see him but seen a Dr.that works with him . He was pleasant and kind. Thank you. Have to get an MRI done. I highly recommend Dr.St.Claire and OIO.

I can’t thank Dr. St Clair enough. My neck was causing me so much pain I thought my life as I knew it was about over. I went to New Albany to see the big city doctors. I felt like I was being processed like cattle and that doctor wanted to treat only half the problem. I went back to St Clair who proposed a more comprehensive solution to address the whole problem. It worked!

I was treated with care and compassion; the surgery center at OIO was top notch. I couldn’t have been more comfortable with the way they took care of me. I was back to work in a few weeks and today I am completely pain free. Thanks you, Dr St Clair. You are the BEST!!

I've had an ACDF done by Dr St Clair with excellent results. I had pain in my shoulder area for the past 5 years, not even able to lift a coffee pot or sleep on my left side. Immediately after my surgery I could lift a huge full mug of ice water in the air and at night sleep comfortably.
I wouldn't even have known I had surgery if not for the tiny scar. He's an excellent surgeon!

After 2 back surgeries by a different doctor I had to have an emergency surgery done and Dr. St clair was the doctor. My 3rd back surgery with more extensive work and I can now walk again and he was amazing. Due to permanent damage from other doctor I will always have issues but now thanks to Dr. St. Clair I am living a better quality of life! He also has wonderful bedside manners.
