A great place that serves good food at reasonable prices sums up Gentile's experience. A lot going on in this store/restaurant that serves pizza by the slice, cold and hot subs that beat any sub chain and pasta dishes. There are tables in the back for anyone looking to eat lunch there. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

This establishment was full of excitement and hustle and bussle. Filled with people getting takeout, buying bread, pasta, pasta sauce, desserts and other delicious goodies. The staff is excellent in customer service. I rated Gentile's Bakery Five Stars but would rate them Ten Stars really!!!

Everyone loved the food at our wedding! We had appetizers, two kinds of pasta, 3 sides and a salad. We also ordered tiramisu cake and coconut bars as part of the dessert tables. Everything looked and tasted delicious! It would have helped to have one designated person we could communicate with leading up to the wedding. There were 3 different people who took our order, and I was a bit stressed that something would be missed. One of our main dishes turned from angel hair + alfredo to chicken alfredo, so that was a surprise at the reception, because we printed all the food labels and we marked it as vegetarian.
Overall, however, we had a great experience with Gentile’s catering. Pictures for reference.

This place is a hidden gem. I order lunch here at least once a week for about 6-10 people. The food is fresh, made with quality ingredients, and for the price no one can beat it. Their deli has great variety, and you can buy enough for the whole family without going broke. The bakery is the wife's favorite, large variety of authentic Italian sweats and some of the best bread you'll ever eat. They have earned my business for a long time coming thanks Gentile's for being a staple in the community. :)

Next time I will try their deli. It has cold cuts and ready to go items. I’ve not even tried their dry goods yet either, but I will.

Great deli, pastries and pizzas. I was checking out and the clerk said fresh pizzas are coming up right now. Could not resist. The white vegetarian was fantastic. My 1st time there. They also have fresh made to order sub sandwiches. I never stopped in because I thought it was for catering only. On the menu you can order a custom 3 foot sub! I think the close at 6 p.m. so plan ahead. I will be back.

1ST time here, and I don't know how I missed this place! They have a great selection of deli, desserts, and bread! Got, my favorite, Cannoli, super fresh. they fill them right after ordering, so they stay cripsy! I will be going back soon for bread and deli and, of course, desserts 😋
Update: I ordered pizza, more cannoli, bread, and some deli. OMG, the pizza was super delecious! It's absolutely the best pizza here! I've tried so many pizza restaurants; none had that crispy delecious crust nor a perfect delecious pizza sauce, here you get both! The Italian bread and baguette are crispy on the top and super soft inside, Delecious! 👌Look how many times I said "delecious" in this post! 😋

Our weekly spot for subs. The grilled chicken is my absolute favorite. While my husband always gets the Bazzard. Fresh crunchy bread on the out side soft on the inside. Their pastas and pastries are simply irresistible. Always crowded with a line so order ahead.

Moved back to town and discovered this gem all over again. The sandwiches and pizza make for a great lunch any day of the week. Anything this place makes or offers is quality and delicious - and the staff always takes good care of you.

There is no wrong choice at Gentile's... but the right choice is usually the Bazzard.

Ordered my son's 2nd birthday cake here and honestly, had no idea what we were getting because they said decorated for a 2 year old lol, but when I say this little dino cake was the CUTEST!!!

Great spot for a real Italian sanguiche. I visit regularly for lunch because the food is amazing, the portions are hearty, the prices are reasonable, and the sandwich is usually ready within 10 minutes or so even when the place is packed. Plus they have an great market, and tremendous bakery. All around a winning spot for West Siders who love good food. (The photo is of a Mortadella Sub, which includes provolone, roasted red peppers, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic. Oof Maddon'!)

They make good sandwiches and pizzas for lunch, pretty good size, too. Lots of Italian pastries and cakes, breads all made fresh at Gentile's Bakery. You can shop for many different sauces, pastas, some meats. There is a place you can sit down and eat in the back of the store. Everyone is very nice 👍🏻. I love the Vegetable pizza slice, pepperoni is my all time fav, but when I go here I get the Vegetable, as it's loaded with banana peppers, black sliced olives, red and green peppers & fresh mushrooms 🍄 😋! !

The food is delicious and bakery is even better. I ordered a decent amount of bakery items for a bridal shower, and everything was beyond delicious. Unfortunately, the cake came out not exactly how I pictured it (my fault for not communicating more), and it broke my soul to send it back to be refrosted because you can tell every one there works super hard. They thankfully redid it for me and didn't want any extra money for the extra work they did. So thankful for their kindness and expertise. Will definitely be back

We just got carryout for the office. We've gotten it before and it's always good, but this time was A++. Super fast, reasonably priced, and most importantly, delicious.

There reviews were pretty good so I tried them out for my moms birthday and ordered some cassata cupcakes and they were so cute and fabulous. They were a hit. My mom loved them. Mmmmm mmm the icing was whip cream icing too!!! Not real sweet either for ur diabetes. Cupcakes were fresh and moist. They did not disappoint! I know where I'm going from now on to order my cakes! They had alot of favorite bakery items, homemade pizzas and a deli too. I should of took pic but I didnt want to be invasive. I'm definitely going back for some cookies and pastries. It all looked so delicious too. I was very pleased with my experience and will be returning.

This place is awesome. I highly recommend this fine establishment. I had a Corned beef and Swiss sandwich. The sub roll was perfect. So was the Corned Beef.. I also took a Blackberry and Apple tart home to my family. We all enjoyed it immensely.

Gentile's Bakery, Catering & Deli has a great selection of Deli, Bakery, Prepared Foods and Italian Groceries( including Wine). Check out the crown on this cake. Whipped Creme, Strawberries and Chocolate slivers.

I also sampled a slice of pizza and got a huge Italian baguette.
