Speedway Inn Bar

Read reviews and was curious on how out visit would be. Had a wonderful time even though grill was closed as we came late. Our bartender Dale was awesome. Old-school as we are accustomed too, which was nice for a change. She doesn't cater to negative people who feel sorry for themselves who feel like victims in life. Respect her job, behave with respect like everyone should and you will have a blast. Definitely going to return next time through. Was nice to not be in a corporate establishment where they ACT as if you matter, and be taken care of by a genuine bartender that is real!!

This is a comfortable no-frills bar where you can be yourself and enjoy inexpensive drinks. If you want something strange, this is maybe not the place. If you want a beer or a whiskey sour with friendly service and a quiet atmosphere, this is the place. They have darts and pool. It is rarely busy and always entertaining.

Great little dive! A nice contrast the the chain-heavy personality-free business zone that it is tucked away in.

This is one of the last original fixtures of Bluemound that will exists. Everything else has been sold out and torn down. Nice old hole in the wall with cheap drinks and often interesting clientele. This is a place where you can be who you are.

Total and complete dive bar smack dab in the middle of Bluemound Road completely encased in million dollar commercial properties... I've died and gone to heaven! Never stop, Speedway...NEVER settle! You're the only piece of the 1980s left in Brookfield and truly a gem!

It seems everyone I talk to anywhere in the state of Wisconsin has been to the Speedway in Brookfield at least once. It's the only 'real' bar in Brookfield, most other bars are in restaurants, so it has a very diverse crowd- Millionaires, construction workers, military folks, GE employees and out of town contractors all frequent this bar and get along with each other and socialize and generally have a fun time. They have a jukebox with lots of good songs and if you don't find what you want it will download it from the internet and play it for you, and two pool tables. The facility is ok but what really makes this place great is the friendliness of the people.

In a stretch of Bluemound overrun by chain-this and mega-that, The Speedway is true to it's spirit. It's a dive! And it is proud of it. Cold beer, hot pizza, and NASCAR. What more could anyone need?

One of the best landmarks in waukesha county. Great place for sports and pool tables. I have yet to be disappointed here staff is always fast and amazing.

Great neighborhood bar. Was there at 8:00 PM and watched the baseball game on tv while having a beer.
