The Goddard School of Independence

We have been sending our two-year-old to the Goddard School of Independence since three months old. The staff and owners at the school have helped our child grow and thrive. The teachers have been accommodating and attentive to any special needs or requests that we have needed for our child. Every staff member and teacher we have worked with has been kind, nurturing, and patient. The staff (teachers, director, and owners) are also great at communication and working closely with me to ensure the carry-over of techniques and information from school to home. The environment at Goddard School is exceptional, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for childcare.

All of our children have attended Goddard School - Independence (over 10 years of interaction with the school) and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Every teacher has had a meaningful impact on the lives of our kids and provided a safe learning environment. The administrative staff are always cheerful, friendly, and professional. Most importantly, our children have been well-prepared academically, emotionally, and socially for kindergarten. Can’t recommend enough Goddard School - Independence.

We have four children and they all either still attend or graduated from The Goddard School of Independence! It gives me great comfort knowing that all the teachers at this location genuinely care about our children's health and social and educational development. The few concerns we have add, the teachers and directors addressed and fixed immediately. I highly recommend this daycare!

Our children have been attending Goddard since March 2023. The customer service and level of care have been consistent from administration to the classroom. Our children feel safe and well cared for. Academic rigor is a priority for our children. Goddard offers an advanced curriculum model that encourages our children to perform at a heighted level while simultaneously operating within their creative ability. This structure makes us confident in Goddard's ability to adequately prepare our children for the future.

Both our kids have been at this Goddard since infancy. My son graduated from their Pre- K in the spring and my daughter is in one of the preschool rooms now. We have always loved this school and the teachers are what make it so amazing. They really know our children and have always listened to our concerns and requests regarding our children’s care and development (ex: my son needed PT when he was a baby and his teachers would do his exercises and stretches with him throughout the day) I always receive little stories and updates at pick-up telling me about their day - the teachers are so insightful, observant, and really know our kids. I’ve watched both our children thrive here and many days, it’s hard to get my daughter to leave. They even keep a binder for each kid with notes, pictures, memories and stories about them throughout their time at the school and present it to us at Pre-K graduation, which I thought was so special (big time tears!). Overall we’ve had a great experience and the teachers are top notch!

All the teachers here have been great! My daughter loves them all. She gets so excited to see them and her friends every day. She is thriving and learning so many new thanks to the wonderful staff here. I’d recommend the Goddard School Independence to anyone who needs childcare.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Goddard School on Grandparent’s Day to visit our 2 granddaughters and were very impressed with the way the teachers are with the kids. When we watch our granddaughters we notice how much they have been learning and really enjoy going to Goddard School. Keep up the good work. We tell whoever asks where our granddaughters go to daycare we tell them and how impressed we are. Thank you and can’t wait for the next Grandparent’s Day!

The Goddard School of Independence is our school of choice for our two daughters. The teachers understand the developmental milestones and challenges of infants and toddlers, and work relentlessly to make sure kids are learning and developing right where they are at in each stage. They love and care for our children unconditionally, and ensure our daughters know this, as evidenced by our daughters excitement to attend school each day!

I can't day enough good things about Goddard in Independence. Our 15 month old son loves it here! Every morning he runs right in, checks out the fish tank, says hi to all the teachers and runs right into his classroom to start playing. He has been going since he was 6 months old, and it has been so wonderful for his development. They do lots of art and crafts, play outside, play music and learn sign language . The teachers are all fabulous!

Goddard of Independence has ownership and staff who truly care about how your child is doing. The children feel safe and loved while in their care and our child looks forward to each day he gets to see his friends at school. Our child's teachers were very open to meeting with us when we expressed concerns for him developing outside the typical child and have partnered with us to create the best possible situation for him. Teachers do an outstanding job instructing young learners. Lessons are carefully planned. Our son has had a great experience there in two classrooms. I couldn’t ask for more.

My daughter has loved going to this school. The faculty and staff are excellent - skilled, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. I’m always impressed how everyone knows my child and always are so kind and caring. She has learned so much and this school is the best early childhood experience I could possibly find for my kiddo.

We have sent our two boys here for a little over a year. Everything is great and the staff and teachers are very friendly. They take great care of the kids and they do a lot of fun activities.

Ms. Susan and Ms. Annette have been game changers for both of our kids. Fantastic prep for next levels and great to see everyday!

It's worth the time on the wait-list! We started our son at a different location but are so happy we switched to this location after a few months on the wait-list. My son is now in one of the toddler rooms and loves every minute. He is learning so much more than I could teach him at home alone (or with a nanny). We've had great teachers in each room and our son is thriving socially, mentally, and emotionally (his verbal development is off the charts). We have also met so many great families through the school. It's a great place that I highly recommend.

We have been with Goddard School since my son was 9 months old. The management team is friendly and is excellent with communication. The teaching staff is amazing and we have loved all of the teachers my son has had. The environment is clean, the building is set far back in a quiet part of Rockside road, which makes pick up and drop off convenient from my husband and I. We constantly receive pictures and video directly to our email, which makes us feel less disconnected from him during the day. When you want the best care for your child, Goddard should be your first choice.

My son has been in the program for a year and we love it! So thrilled to have found a daycare that is clean, fun, engaging, and safe! I feel that all of the teachers we have had so far loved my son. When he had some difficulties transitioning to solids the teachers in the baby room were exceptionally helpful by working with my son. The school sends me a picture of him playing during the middle of the day and I can see how happy he is. The school offers fun activites, like water day during the summer, and I find their curriculum to be well rounded. Before my son could even talk he would light up with a big smile whenever he saw his teachers. That, to me, is priceless! Love goddard!

Both of our sons attended Goddard from the infant room through Pre-K, and I can honestly say we have never had one complaint. The teachers are nurturing, the curriculum is fantastic, and the office staff is incredibly responsive. Highly recommend!
