Second District Cleveland Division of Police (Not Dispatch)

I called 2nd district police station today because we had a confused elderly gentleman walk into our place of business holding an eye glass case and receipts for a 750.00 dollar withdrawal from his bank. this man did not speak English and we were very worried about this safety so we called the police department who then called an interpreter over the phone to speak with this elderly man. Two police officers came to our facility to speak with this man and also try and help with this situation. The officers ended up taking him home.....I just wanted to say thank you to the dispatcher for all your help, and also to the two officers who came here to help this gentleman. God Bless our men and women in blue!!!

The men and women of the 2nd District Police force are fair, kind and just. The choices of a few "bad apples" by NO means represent the overall thoughts, feelings or behaviors of ALL officers. My 6yr old daughter wholeheartedly intends to be a police officer. She has kicked her aspirations of being on the "big screen" the curb. They have been replaced with dreams of being a cop. I believe the interest in police work has stemmed not only from the sneakily viewing "Cops"😉 but more so due to the AWESOME officers she has come in contact with. Every opportunity she has to engage with an officer is welcomed with smiles, education and obvious LOVE!! All the officers she has spoken to genuinely enjoy communicating with her. We have a collection of "Junior Crime Fighter CPPA" stickers-she thinks she is SO cool bc of them! EVERY TIME we see an officer we make it a POINT to THANK them for their service.
THANK YOU TO THE WOMEN AND MEN ON THE FORCE THAT DO AN OUTSTANDING JOB PROTECTING THE CIVILIANS OF CLEVELAND!!! THEY DO A JOB MOST WOULDN'T or COULDN'T. STAY SAFE.

last year i was live streaming on youtube, and while i was live there was a black challenger hellcat that drove by and parked at a mcdonalds, i went inside and talked to the owner after i ended the live. a few days later at the same location i came across the same guy with the hellcat, while we was waiting in line i ask if that was his hellcat outside, he said yeah and then i ask him if i can record it for my youtube channel and he was fine with, it after that we introduce our names to each other and he's a cool guy. Hes a Sargent at 2nd district and his name is Damian, pretty cool guy.

Great job during the convention!!! The police never became the story. Very professional.

I Called for a few general questions police officer Ms. Gonzalez was very inviting, helpful and informative.

There doesn't seem to be any dedicated parking for civilians at this station so it was difficult on a week day afternoon to find parking.

When I walked up to the window there were plenty of officers that walked by, looked at me and kept walking without acknowledging I was waiting for some help. Finally, when one officer did come over I had to make sure he got the info (was dropping off a set of keys found in some grass) of where they were found, etc. as he did not appear to think of asking this. It could have just been a busy or off day there but I was a bit disappointed and wouldn't have felt looked after if I had an urgent need. The officer was nice enough though to give him some credit in that regard.

I meant by far the first friendly officer in the 2nd district. I believe his name is Jonesy. What a well spoken and professional officer. He does his job and does it with respect for not only the badge but for the people he swore to serve and protect. He personally gets 5 stars from me. If he was a boss he would be a perfect leader and officers can learn by his example

They waste tax dollars and break traffic laws constantly. Lead by example! I could be YouTube famous with the amount of dash cam footage I have! The trick is to “uphold the constitution” not break it.

There’s a good reason for the poor reviews. The people who are unfortunate to file a police report here have the pleasure of dealing with unpleasant gremlins who happen to work there. Likely, you’re not having a good day when you come here. Also likely, you’re days about to get a whole lot worse because everyone here seems to take their misery and frustrations out on you. I’ve accompanied family members here twice. On both occasions I would have rather taken an ACT than go through the 7 layers of hell that is the the 2nd district police department. Maybe third times the charm, hopefully, I don’t find out if that applies here.

The Cleveland police has the worst that I’ve ever encountered. They purposely lie about being in route and only come after you call back about 10 times. Their attitudes and work ethics are deplorable! It’s easier for you to get shot than to expect the police to do their job. Please email the Governor regarding this issue in hopes of correcting this issue. Thanks
