B & L Comics Cards & Nostalgia

This is one of those old school comic book shops that I wish still existed everywhere. If you're looking for back issues of unique books like I was, this is your place. They also have a ton of card collectibles and various other knick knacks. I was able to find some key books that I've been looking for that I never really wanted to order on eBay. The guy that runs the place was super friendly and helpful and it's good to see someone like this still dedicated to running a comic book shop.

Pricing was pretty fair but you do get a thumb through a ton of books. One good thing is that everything was fairly well categorized and in alphabetical order so that really helps. We'll definitely be coming back to this place the next time I'm in town. Check out my video of how this place looks

Definitely a 💎 hidden in plan sight. Various key comics are on display all over the place. Even though comics may be their bread and butter they also have various sports, Pokémon, & Magic the gathering cards for sale. They also have retro toys and other collectibles as well. Tons of back stock as well as many different small press and obscure comic runs. The outside is very unassuming, but once you get in and give it a chance you will complete loose track of time and be lost in the hunt. I really enjoyed this shop and plan to come back again.

Staple comic store in Parma. I used to go here all the time as a kid. I go occasionally here and there to stop on by and grab a comic or two every few years. If you or anyone in the family likes comics, this is a great place with a ton of variety!

The owner is very personal and helpful. Has a great variety of products and choices at reasonable prices.

I’ve been visiting Larry for nearly 15 years. He is one of the most knowledgeable humans when it comes to comics, sports, and just general knowledge. He looks out and takes care of his customers & especially attentive to the younger generation getting into comics & sports cards. I will always recommend Larry to anybody searching for a new comic shop, Larry is the best!

I am an eastsider that visited this west side shop a few times as a teen in the early 90s and once more now 30 years later as a middle aged man. Great inventory and fair prices and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you are a comic collector!

Wow! This place is awesome! I always thought this was just a comic book store, but I sure was wrong. They have a ton of baseball card packs and boxes to choose from, both new and old. Owner is super knowledgeable and passionate about baseball and sports cards in general. He is very easy going and a blast to talk to. Can't wait to go back!

Took 8 year old son in today to purchase a pack of cards. Owner was very nice and allowed him to pick his own pack out the box. He pulled the rarest card in the entire set. Has not stopped talking about it. Great experience, nostalgic place, friendly owner.

Larry is awesome! I think he may be the Watcher secretly because he knows everything about comics. Great place to pic up modern thru golden at a fair price. Best store on the west side!

The best Comic Book Shop Around!

I believe Larry is the Watcher disguised as a comic book store owner. He is a bottomless well of comic book and sports card knowledge. His store has the same posters on the wall from 20-30 years ago and has tons of long boxes with back issues from every age. He really does his best to engage every customer and help you find exactly what your looking for. If you go to another comic book store on the west side… WRONG CHOICE! Flat out best comic book store in the county!

I stopped in the other day for the first time and the guy who was working (the owner perhaps?) was very cool/friendly. I collected comic books when I was young, and now that I'm retired (old) I am going to start collecting again. I think this will be my go-to shop.

Love this comic shop. The owner is down to earth and easy to talk to and knows his business. Reasonable to great prices on back issues, good deals on all the newest comics, and a broad selection of trading cards.

Old school comic book store... Helpful, knowledgeable people. We are from the Cincinnati area, and haven't found a place like this locally. Everything was well organized, and there were lots of old and new comics to choose from. They even had vintage trading cards for sale (old new stock). I would return next trip for sure. Prices were reasonable, so we came away with a haul!
