Joey's Avenue Eatery

Met friends for brunch, a first visit. What a great little family restaurant with a basic, diverse menu to suit most tastes, including a few vegetarian options. We both had veggie omelettes served with potatoes and toast that were good. Friends had the everything omelette and eggs Benedict, which they liked. There are plenty of other choices besides breakfast. And they’re one of only a few places that still offers salad bar, something that has become more rare than it used to be. The service was good and prices competitive, good. Set at the end of a small plaza, parking is available by the building. I’d recommend considering trying it for reasonable, basic tasty fare.

Nice cozy restaurant with tables and booths. Very clean. Substantial breakfast and lunch menu. I went for lunch and tried to decide between the corned beef and a hamburger. Went with the corned beef on advice from the server.... excellent choice! Thinly sliced and full of flavor.
Second visit I had a burger and add on salad bar. Outstanding burger and well-stocked salad bar. Definitely going to be a regular visitor!

The staff is always kind, quick and patient, we always get seated in one minute or less, I get the toast, eggs and sausage and it always comes out in around 9 minutes. Relatively quick for a restaurant, I also say the chocolate milk has usually been an 8/10! It is usually crowded but that's not for no reason! Best breakfast in Wickliffe/willowick.

Joey’s is your typical family restaurant, only better. May be a dollar or 2 more than the other breakfast / lunch joints, but the quality and preparation of the food is noticeably better. Great soup & salad bar, some outdoor patio seating, and a super friendly and efficient staff makes this an affordable and satisfying place to eat.

Good value for the price. The soups are delicious, great salad bar and plenty of variety. Breakfast all day!

This place is phenomenal the honey fried chicken is amazing! The 1 star is because the waitstaff was more helpful than our waitress. This is my new spot for breakfast lunch and dinner!😋🤤

Our server Linda was great and even put up with our preteen's angst well. Food was tasty and service prompt. Everything good expect from an independent family restaurant! I recommend the pot roast.

My first time visiting was amazing every thing was great, my only issue was my waitress, she was not on her game, I had the waitstaff gentleman help with napkins, and to go boxes. But other than that the food was very good..Hat's off to the chef..

The food was fresh and hot. Staff was pleasant. Good value for the cost.
I would have like to see them wipe off the condiments on the table though after guests.

Servers were so attentive and cheerful & hot roast beef sandwich w applesauce & homemade-daily mashed potatoes was very tender & tasty. 5 stars for the meal & staff.

The portions are fairly generous and the food was tasty. They checked on my mom several times to see if she needed coffee refills which she appreciated.

I had never heard of Joey's until I came. My friend and her husband had invited me to breakfast and they said they were coming here. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of them. I ordered eggs scrambled with spinach and onions and French toast. My food came out fairly quickly. When I tell you that I ate everything and it was great 👍 believe me! I will come back again and again !!

We had a party of 7 and the service and the food was excellent. Generous portions. We added this place to our restaurant weekly get together .

The food was so good! The whole staff was so polite and attentive. It's a cozy little spot, but busy. The staff, from the kitchen to the front of the house, they stayed on top of their game and didn't miss a beat.

Good food with a large variety on the menu. Service was great. We will be back.
