Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown

This is a great hotel with solid construction and a very convenient location if attending anything in the arena. Short walk to the convention center, too.

Was pleasantly surprised by everything here from the view to the bedding. Nicely appointed rooms at a good price. There's even a pool and coffee shop on site.

I’ve stayed here a few times for the convenience of being across the street from the Delta center. The convenience alone would keep me coming back on event days. But I’ve had the pleasure of Courtney at the front desk checking me in the last few times and she is a doll! She starts your experience here with a bubbly and bright welcome, always starting the experience on a great note! ( the other staff at the front desk are also so so great and willing to help and are very accommodating as well) rooms are always clean in tip top shape. Walking distance don’t everything is nice too. Parking is convenient and easy to navigate and everyone is alway friendly! 10/10

Service: impeccable. Five stars for Courtney the front desk representative.
She exhibited a smile even through the tone of her voice. The other team members were nice too but she really added an extra layer of hospitality.

Cleanliness: so crisp so clean.

Overall: the garage was broken so we paid for parking but technically didn’t need to lol and I wish we were told because we sat trying to get into the gate with our card lol but we only needed to turn the corner and the gate was up and anyone could go in or out.

The dining area is dead. They don’t serve wine. Maybe a Utah thing? We wanted a glass but the area seemed like a not interesting cafe. We skipped it and walked down the street.

Pool: decent indoor hotel motel type pool. Not a luxury pool but it was nice and clean.

Not going to lie, I’ve had bad luck over the last couple of years with hotels. So it’s refreshing to come to this Courtyard in SLC and find the room clean and in good working order. The staff has been friendly and treat me more like a guest, and not just a person staying in the hotel. I’ve actually had to force myself to get out and see some of the city because the room has been so comfortable.

Nicely laid out rooms, with sofa that has a good light for reading, and a nice desk under the flat screen TV. While there were some devices with LEDs that were surprisingly bright (e.g. the power ports in the night stands), the blackout curtains worked well at blocking external light.
The bed was fantastic - probably the most comfortable I've experienced in many years!
The staff were very friendly, and the food at the bistro was actually pretty good - although pricey. I recommend the omelet.

Rooms need a little updating and better storage. Staff is spectacular. WiFi is spotty, especially for video calls (even the enhanced). Shared lobby areas are nice and lots of options for working remotely.

Great view of the Capital and down town. The front desk was very friendly and the crew running the bistro were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the entire staff. Really great experience for us

Great place to stay and very convenient to Delta Center and The Gateway. Great value for the rate. Front office staff was super friendly and helpful at check in. I consistently have great experiences at Marriott properties and this was no different. Will definitely be returning!

We had a great time. First class staff. I stay over 50 nights a year. Courtney is unquestionably the best.

Where do i even start? My expierience was amazing something i will never forget about. Also the food was amazing and the head chef (Angel Tepox) was very respectfull, it was like if God himself was serving. But overall the food and everything else 10/10 will be coming back again

Room were clean and modern. Beds were comfy and even had extra pillows. The location is easy to get to and nice being able to walk right across the street to the Delta Center. There is a food joint next door also and walking distance to the gateway.
The pool was being worked on when we stayed there but we were given access to the pool at the Hyatt next door. Customer service was top notch.
We didn't try the bistro.

Great hotel and very comfortable. It’s quiet, in a great spot, and the people that work here are all super friendly. I very much enjoyed my stay. The shower was a bit to get figured out; I couldn’t get it to turn off. Once I figured out the magic combination of levels in the right positions, though, it was just fine.

First off... can't argue with the location. Ota right downtown. Literally across the street from the delta center, just a couple walking blocks from the gateway, kids science museum, 2nd and 7th Market, the food hall, the depot, the complex, etc etc. And even just a couple blocks from temple Square if that is your thing.
Everyone we dealt with at the front counter were very nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Usually hotel beds, whether its a 3 star or 5 star hotel, just suck. I am very picky and usually hate my hotel beds. But both my wife and I slept very well and thought th le bed was more than comfortable. Even the pillows were decent. My only complaint would be the AC... we like our bedroom very cold. Even at the lowest setting the room wouldn't get below 70 degrees, which was kind of uncomfortable for sleeping. Even when we set it to continuously run, it would cycle on and off. But really that's our only complaint.
We will definitely stay here again.

Always enjoy my stays at this Marriott location! The staff is so amazing, they're always accommodating and make me feel like this is my home away from home. Especially Courtney, she's the best!!

Fantastic service from night manager checked in on Sunday after a crazy trip into town, our bags were lost, we had gotten in well after midnight and the front desk / night audit was fantastic. Such a nice gentlemen’ I wish I got his name. But I informed Vanessa the morning agent about him. She was very kind as well and helped with a late check out as we needed to wait for airport to receive our bags!

Lovely experience, been there to meet a friend who's here for a work!! Rooms are absolutely neat and friendly reception!!

Very nice hotel! Clean room, comfortable bed and the staff was very friendly. Nice pool area. Close to City Creek Center mall and restaurants.

Very nice clean room in downtown location next to Utah Jazz arena. King bed is spacious but pull out sofa was not a queen size as promised, more like a twin and a half. Great location for downtown sights but paid extra $20 for parking. Overall recommended by the Captain.
