Red Wing - Avon, OH

I have had several pairs of red wing shoes, which I love, but they can be hard to find or order. I wanted a particular shoe, which ended up not being carried in this specific store. The store manager said she would order the shoes to the store and then ship them to wherever I needed them as I was visiting the area. The boots arrived a few weeks later at my house with no issues. Great experience!

Absolutely an incredible experience at this store. Michelle took care of my grandson and we purchased his boots. We definitely will be back when he needs boots again. Michelle is the greatest.

The best boots by far. Ive been wearing red wings for 10 years and I won't buy anything else.(I've tried) They are the only boots that can keep up with my work days. Rain,shine or snow my feet are always dry and comfortable even after 12 hour days. And This store has the best customer service so friendly! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience here recently. I came in because I had an issue finding a specific boot. Michelle found the LAST pair in country. Got them shipped immediately from Michigan. I’m very thankful for your help Michelle. I highly recommend this store. Great service and a great selection of quality and aesthetically pleasing boots.

We had a fantastic experience buying boots. The customer service was wonderful. My husband was professionally fitted utilizing both a foot and gait analysis. We were offered suggestions and inserts based on the results but I never felt like we were being up sold. All in all a great experience.

My boyfriend needed work boots for his job so we went to red wing because he had a voucher for work boots with certain specifications, he wears a size 11-11.5 and we originally went to the strongsville store and the lady we worked with was closing up in an hour and she was very rude. We walked into the Avon store and lady at the counter was very nice and extremely helpful her name was Michelle. We had to check multiple stores through their computer where they only had 1-3 in the country. Then we found 1 boot in the store that was a size 11.5 and it was absolutely perfect for him. We were checking out and his voucher wasn’t working so she tried everything to get it working and we eventually did! Amazing experience at Red Wing today. Michelle was so nice and made it a positive experience. 5 out of 5 stars!! 👍🏻👍🏻

My husband just purchased his first pair of Red Wings, staff was very helpful and gave their honest feedback and what will work for him! He is excited to see how they wear and holdup!! What is this free cleaning and oiling I see in other reviews?

We use this store to buy boots for guys at our plant. Danny and his team do everything possible to get us the sizes we need and to us as quickly as possible. If all retailers had this level of care and service, the world would be a better place! Kuddos to Danny and his team. Amazing job.

I finally got a chance to get into the store to grab some industrial boots for work. I will admit that working in an heavy industry it is very hard to find reliable safety equipment. That said I really want to say thank you Michelle. You made my day that much better and hopefully everyday to come while wearing the correct boots..

Walked in 10. In before the store closed and the person working never made me feel rushed or that he was put out by my being there that close to closing, he explained the boot to me in great depth and I was able to pick my boots in the right size with no pressure and I could not be happier with my new Redwings, I will never buy another brand of work boots again,

I went in to try on some Iron Rangers and had a great experience. Rob helped me try on a couple pairs in the copper rough and tough. He knew what he was talking about when it came to proper fit. I’m very happy with my purchase. I will recommend this store to my friends and family.

Everything there was clean, organized and the lady was nice. They made sure I had the perfect fit and style that also matched the criteria of what I was looking for. I would have liked it even more if it was just a bit bigger. Overall though, it was a very nice store.

I wanted to share my experience I had with Danny Tohme (Owner of Avon Store) when I was looking for some Red Wings. Upon entering the store the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the showroom and the shoe racks. The boots, shoes, and accessories are all lit up really nice and the description of each boot is easy to read. I especially was interested in the "Heritage" display. A very classy way of showing off a classic line. Danny was very knowledgeable and informative on not only the boots but the inserts as well. Danny had recommended that I get my feet scanned by this machine he has in his store. This allows Danny to properly fit my specific foot size and arch to the correct boot and insert. I can tell you I tried one boot with an insert and one with out. I purchased the inserts! I ended up getting the Iron Rangers. Very happy with my choice and would recommend Danny Tohme to all my friends that are looking for a excellent quality boot that is well made. I also purchased a nice belt that matched my color leather on my boots.

This is my first ever review for anything bc i never really cared to write one until now. I've been to a few other Red Wing stores in the Cleveland area and this one is by far the best. I've came to this one multiple times with 3 different workers, including the manager himself and they have all been the absolute best. Kind, professional, will actually guide you and will not rush you out the door! I definitely recommend coming here, even if that means going out of the way!
