Daniels Park and Dam

I go here to pick up free produce every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. The people who volunteer their time to work there are very nice and are very helpful if you need help carrying the heavy bags of produce to your car. Most people who go there are like me and need the extra food these days. Food is very expensive, especially for people who are retired or lower income. I appreciate that there are organizations that can help us with the extra food.

They finally took out the rest of the old dam! Talk about great timing, guy catches a fish a minute after we walk up!

Nice peaceful place just to sit relax have a picnic and go fishing.

It was a late night visit to this park usually there's a lot of fishermen but it was pouring rain. Stop to do a quick walk around. There was an owl sitting on me rail next to the river which was pretty cool. The vultures were in the trees across the river. There's a gas relief tube in the middle of the river that was lit with a nice flame. Very peaceful

It's a nice park, lots of places to sit and enjoy. Plenty of playground equipment for kids. Plenty of grills if that's your thing. A few adult bench swings. Of course I usually see people fishing, then on the other side but still same park are ball diamonds. It's kind of a forgotten gem of a park.

Very nice park! has a fenced in playground, a full basketball court (black top) a nice river for fishing and a place to cook and eat.

Love going to this park. It has some picnic tables, things for kids outside and a river you can fish in. In the last few years they have added more things to the park. There is a fallen dam you can sort of see where it used to be. If you go down the river (away from the road) you can see a turn in the river near some cliffs. If you walk down there you can walk around in the river and its more peaceful.

Daniels park is great! They have 2 pavillion areas, basketball court, soccer areas, and a fenced in playground. It is kept nice and clean and they also have public restrooms that are always clean too.

It was beautiful there. I loved the fact that the grill was larger than most grills at the parks and the pavilions were spaced out very well, basketball court, fishing pond, really nice.

Had our baby shower here other then the rain it was awesome so much room between Pavillions for other people to enjoy themselves without being on top of each other 10/10 recommend this park

Chagrin River for nature at it's best. Also basketball, three baseball diamonds with bleachers, large fenced playground for young children, two pavillions for large picnics and restrooms.

This park is one of many special places in lake county , two pavilions , for the little ones ,a fenced in play erea, basketball court, restroom with running water, plenty of parking and a great view of the river

I've been going to this park since I was a little kid it is very clean Park and they have great picnic areas a kids playground and if you want to fish or swim in the river you can do that too

Fenced in play area, clean pavilion picnic area, basketball court and you can walk right down to the chagrin river. Beautiful park!

A pretty common section of river to angle for steelhead. Right after the dam the water drops pretty deep and they hold out right in there.

Good place to visit and fishing and also is a picnik tables and public restroom.

Very nice park. Great for birthday parties for children
