Daniels Park

Clean and inviting park with access to the river, many pavilions, and a fenced in playground with swings. Ample parking and really lovely!

Very cute park with pavilions, play set, swings, and river access. We use the dam as the stop point for our kayak trips, unless water level is very high. Lots of space for dogs to run and play.

A great place to sit relax have a picnic and go fishing.

The park looks great, I noticed they have observational equipment for water flow in the river. Pretty environmentally conscious if ya ask me. I was also pleased that the bathrooms were open and working properly.

Been coming here over 40 years and it is an absolute gem. Great fishing, swimming, wildlife, and just general river exploring. Couple of pavillions, permanent cornhole boards, basketball court, and playground. It's a shame the fire ring has been gone for many years. Was great to stay up late and listen to the old timers.

Wonderful spot for River hiking and swimming. But don't you ever go fishing there that's my spot. LOL

This is a wonderful clean park. It has a basketball court, playground, decent restrooms. Great place to go fishing or river walking, all though I suggest you have water shoes or not go barefoot because it is such a popular spot for fishing you run the risk of stepping on a hook. It has two covered picnic shelters which have charcoal grills. Nice little park for a family outing or just to take in the outdoors.

Great river for exploring...loads of crayfish and minnows. And it's easy to walk...not too deep usually.

Love coming here with my dog. He likes to swim in the river. Playground was nice for my daughter.

A great gem of a park! A beautifully shady and covered pavilion makes picnicking cool and comfortable while a well maintained, fully enclosed playground gives adults peace of mind and security knowing your kids won't wander off! A quick detour off the interstate made this park a perfect stop for our group of 24 as we caravaned to our vacation destination! Just beware that the park is on two sides of the road; the playground, picnic shelter, and basketball courts are a bit set back from the road. Google maps routed us to the opposite side of the road where the ball fields were.

This is my family's go to park. My husband enjoys fishing the Chagrin river, there are three covered picnic shelters, a basketball court, a fenced in playground which is excellent for my 18 month old. I can let her run and play without worrying about her running off or dodging traffic. It also offers unique beauty and a peaceful atmosphere.

Nice size park. Access to the river. Usgs has its monitoring station. The playground is nice and fenced in.

We don't frequent this location too often, however, it is always enjoyable and fun when we do. There is a playground in one location of the park, picnic tables and grills, 1 or 2 (cant recall) baseball field(s) on the other side opposite the playground, and multiple river access points. If you're looking for some messy river play, or alone time this would be one of my suggested spots.

Went on a midday trip with the hubby here, didn't stay long, but it was a nice park! Saw lots of doggies being walked here, and some river fisherman as well! Nice lil place to stretch and take in some of nature's glory✌

I had not been here for 20 years. Was surprised folks/dam was busted?
Had fun watching the bsld eagles and beaver, but mostly my daughter landing on her butt in the river!

Daniel's Park has a number of pavilions and a great little playground. The Chagrin river is easily accessible for wading or even swimming. While bathrooms are available they are only open during the summer season and many day camps use Daniel's Park round midday.

The playground is fenced in so it's perfect to keep track of littles. There is access to the river which is great too. And there are picnic tables scattered around as well as a pavilion.

A great park for families. From large grass areas for running and playing to play ground for kids. The river is always great to be by. It's a great place to meet and cook out.
