Lake View Park

Dog friendly park. It's great to take the dogs to the beach and let them run and swim, then walk on the trails. We take a backpack with a picnic lunch and dog treats and spend hours there. It's very peaceful and relaxing for me, and the dogs have an absolute blast. There is rarely a lot of people there-many times, I've spent all day and only encountered one other person. It's clean and at the end of the day I have tired and happy dogs. THE best dog park in Sheboygan!

Great park with lots of room to run around. There is a public bathroom and access to walk by the lake. The pavilion can be rented out for parties, and there is a grilling station with many grills and a picnic bench. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk the trail to the power plant and walk up the skywalk. The only downside to the park is that it is right next to the sewage treatment plant. Needless to say it smells bad at times.

It's great for solitude and inspiring views, with broken concrete wharves jutting out into the lake.

We visited right at dusk. Seeing the glittering lights in the distance from the city and the crashing cool waves was magnificent.

This park is located right next to lake Michigan by the coal power plant. This place is a beautiful park with lots of nice pine trees and lots of shade, while this not a dog park, dogs are however welcome here long as u keep them on a leash. Lots of places to park here, nice playground for families to use, there two trails that take u down to the beach and it just a peaceful and relaxing area. Nice park right next to Lake Michigan, with access to the lake. Lots of folks bring dogs here, let them run. Play area for the kiddos.

What an awesome place to really take in nature and see the beauty that is Lake Michigan. You can also see how high the lever of water is right now with the beach being almost gone. There is also a really nice playground and picnic area.
