We have an old, tricky house with old, tricky projects. The guys were great at problem solving solutions for the electrical work. Plus they were so kind and communicative. I will definitely call again next time I need work!

If I could, I would give Golden Gate Electric a rating of 10+. This company is very honest and the owner Scott, truly cares about the customer needs. You can actually 'feel' Scott's great work ethics when speaking to him on the phone.The work being done was exactly what I requested, technician was punctual, curteous and friendly. Also work was done in a timely manner with no extra surprises. I will definitely use this company again, I highly rerecommend this company! This company is definitely GOLDEN.

Mitch and Sam were awesome! They came out the day after I called, and they were extremely helpful. We had two locations with double switches where the wiring was completely messed up (switches that controlled outlets, lights going on when they should have been off). Both areas were fixed in less than an hour, and the fee was quite reasonable. Golden Gate is definitely our go-to electrician from now on!

Scott did a great job. He responded right away to my inquiry. He gave me a date and time he’d be free to install lights. He showed up at that date and time and did the work neatly and beautifully!

I had Scott come out and install an EV charger for me in my garage. From originally reaching out all the way to the finished job I am very pleased. He got back to me within a day for a quote and an estimated lead time. Even though he had some sick kiddos on the day we had planned and an emergency job come up he stayed in touch through e-mail and text and we were able to work out an alternative plan. I will continue to use him for any and all electrical needs. Highly recommend

We called Scott with a question about a circuit breaker that had tripped in our house. He was quick to respond and offered to stop in to take a look at it for us. He came when expected, was polite, professional and did a thorough check of our breaker box to reassure us that everything was fine. He worked quickly and was in and out in about 15 minutes. Here's the best part - he didn't charge us for the visit! It doesn't get any better than that! We fully expected a truck charge and would have happily paid it for the assurance that everything was working as it should be. Thanks Scott!!

We had a large fan installed in our 12 ft. great room ceiling.

We chose Scott as our contractor because he was great at communication and he gave a detailed estimate of all components of the work, including the permit. The final cost matched the estimate. Scott took care of the permitting and will schedule the inspection. His installation was quick and thorough. He covered furniture and rugs to protect from dust and debris, and he cleaned up very well. After such a positive experience, he's now our go-to electrician. I highly recommend Scott for quality work and professionalism!

From beginning to end I really enjoyed working with them. They were speedy to provide an estimate and that estimate was spot on after all the work was done. The two electricians were fantastic; friendly, engaging and hardworking. So happy with the work they did and if anything comes up again I’d call them in a heartbeat.

Scott is amazing! We were in the middle of a remodel and needed quite a bit of work done in a short amount of time. He came out to our house within a day of contacting him and had bids in our hands the same day. He then scheduled his work just a week or so later and did an awesome job. Installed a new panel, new lighting, reworked old wires (we have a 1995 build) and was super responsive and courteous. Be sure to use Golden Gate for your electric needs!

I had another electrician out who told me that they were all sorts of problems with my panel, and that it could become a fire and safety hazard in my home. I had Golden Gate electric come out to take a look at it and potentially give me a quote. He arrived on time within two days inquiry for an appointment. He opened the panel and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the panel, and that it was in good shape and even had the additional space for an up coming basement remodel. He answered all my questions and really gave me peace of mind. This is a company I would call over and over again!

Scott was quick to respond to my request for service even though I reached out to him on a weekend. His schedule was very full but he was able to address our problem in just two days. He is very thorough, explains things ahead of doing the work & is excellent in communication. We felt his pricing is very reasonable. He followed up a couple days after completing the work to be sure we were not still having problems. I appreciated his dedication to getting the job done right. We will definitely call him again with any electrical issues we may have.

This business was recommended to me via a neighborhood app. Initially I was hesitant because I didn’t know anyone personally who’s used Golden Gate Electric. Let me assure you, there’s absolutely no reason whatsoever to be hesitant using this company.

Several businesses were referred to me, but Scott was the only one to respond in a reasonable time (Immediately returned my call). Other businesses either didn’t return the call or waited nearly a week to do so.

Scott was able to give me a quote within a few minutes of explaining the work needed (installing 2 outlets in my outdoor soffits for installation of 2 outdoor cameras and installing a Floodlight camera).

Our initial scheduled date needed to change due to his business responding to an emergency call out of a family who was without power in addition to deteriorating weather (I felt his well being and addressing the family without power was far more important than installing outlets) conditions. Scott communicated with me throughout the day, keeping me informed of his progress.

The following day, he arrived as scheduled, clean and professional uniform and vehicle. Although personable and engaging, he stayed on task, completing the job far quicker than I thought would be required.

Additionally, while not required to do so, he assisted me setting up several RING security devices since he owned the system too.

By the time the project was nearing completion, I’d already decided he will be the only electrician I’ll ever call in the future. Icing on the cake was the fact the final price was less than the quote, although I paid the quoted price.

This team did an awesome job! They made decisions using their industry expertise to make sure I received the best outcome for the lighting in my living room remodel. Additionally, they made time to fit me in last minute! Hands down an awesome company to work with.
