Freedom Park

Great place to stop for all your Great River Road needs. Customer service was top-notch. Great views of the river. Free resources. Historical background for the area.

The views were phenomenal. The eagle soaring above were fantastic and the visitor center and it's employees were very informative and acknowledgeable. It was beautiful with the creative sculptures. All in all a fantastic stop in Prescott Wisconsin.

Gem of a small educational park. Great views of the river and pretty flowers and native foliage. Very nice staff was great with the kids.

A beautiful, peaceful and very clean park. There are grills, a covered pavilion, gardens, and an amazing overlook of the river.

Great place to walk around and explore. Well worth the stop. Also a good place to stop and see all the beautiful natural flowers of the area

Great park! We started our ride down 35 here. They got people here to answer questions and maps, and there's a simply amazing view of the river. The young girl working the welcome center was very friendly and welcoming. A great first stop on an amazing trip down the Great River Road.

Nice park with views over the river valley, educational placards, a children's play area, and a visitor center. We always appreciate the educational placards at places like this, as they detail an aspect of history and help us maintain an historical perspective on where we are

This is a fantastic park with a play area for the kids, grills to cook out and a pavilion. the views of the river are wonderful. The visitor's center has indoor bathrooms, a gift shop, and is very clean. Occasionally, here are children's workshops and other events. It's a great - no fee park.

Nice river views, clean and well maintained grounds, restroom, nice trees so options are there for shade on warm days.

Great scenic overlook with art and free binoculars. The building was closed while we were there so I can't comment on that.

Family decided to just drive and take an adventure. During our drive from Minnesota We ended up at Freedom park in Wisconsin.
It was really pretty, clean, and just overall an awesome place to stop for a little rest after being in the car for awhile. The people at the Gift shop were also really friendly.

This has a great playground for the kids, amazing views of the river below and if you're lucky you can see eagles

Lovely little park with a small play area and shelter. Dynamic views of the Mississippi....and Eagles flying. Great River Road Center with bathrooms, giftshop.....historic info on the area. Tourist info on Wisconsin. Building is HP accessible.

Cute little park, can't speak for the nature center building as it was closed. There's some cool views of the river though.

My Happy place in Prescott

Worked there for a summer. Very nice park with a lot of chances for learning and a lot of history. definitely would recommend at least stopping in.

This park has great views of the Mississippi! Also, there’s a playground for kids to play on and a visitor center, great place

Worth the stop if you are in the area, driving the Great River Road or on your way to Laura Ingalls Wilder’s birthplace near Pepin.

Lovely park with beautiful views artwork and memorial benches. Good for playing Pokemon and swinging.
