Fuel Cafe Center Street

Our sandwiches were so amazing!!!! This little place is really the coolest spot in town. It’s dark, edgy, stylish, and unique. Center St in Riverwest has become *the* place to find funky gems like this one. And oh yes, they serve excellent coffee. Come for the vibe and stay for the vegan food!

Versatile menu with options for both the healthy and the hearty eater. Cool motorcycle/BMX vibe. They have a variety of creative mixed drinks like The Bomb - an Aperol, champagne, and Bomb Pop (yes, the popsicle!) - and a solid craft beer list. Fun fact: all summer you can add a Bomb Pop to your drink for $1!

Fuel also doubles as a coffee shop with an upstairs sitting area where people were set up with their computers. (The WiFi password is “fuelcoffee”)

We weren’t super hungry so we came in for a light lunch. We ordered the green bean appetizer and the Sly Turkey sandwich (turkey, cucumber, sprouts, avocado, and sriracha mayo on whole grain bread) to split. The green beans were expertly flavored and the sandwich had the perfect amount of crunch and flavor. I appreciated the detail of toasting and buttering the bread.

The prices were very reasonable and Jade provided excellent service. We would 100% come back!

The cafe right off National is dope. The wings are Nashville hot chicken style and they are incredible. They come with a fresh pickle that looks like it was pulled from a home made jar in the back. Their whole brand is strong and this is one of the most visually pleasing restaurants in the city.

Moto inspired cafe. Come for the coffee, stay for the race vibes. Soups, sandwiches, pastries and more. Free wifi and great place to work from.

I have been coming to Fuel for a long time and I am never disappointed. I love the high energy atmosphere, they have a variety of drinks that are both classic and unique, and the food is simple yet delicious. Another great place with outstanding vegetarian options. The service is fast and friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more.

Fuel Cafe has such a cool vibe. They serve delicious coffee and have pretty good breakfast sandwiches. You do have to wait to get any hot food so it's not necessarily a quick stop, but it's definitely better than any fast food drive thru. The staff here is always super helpful and friendly.

Great local cafe with a great vibe! Came across it by accident on a stay in Milwaukee and came back 3 more times. Sign says great food, lousy service... One of these signs lies to you though :)
Best iced cappuccino we've had in ages!

Loved it 20 years ago and love it now. Brought my daughter for the first time and introduced her to the world of writing at the Fuel with a hot drink nearby. Cheaper and better than any chain. Whether you want to sit for awhile depends on your musical tastes and whether they mesh with staff at the time.

I'd been coming to this place for years before leaving Milwaukee. Whenever I visit I still make sure to make time to enjoy a cup of coffee here and soak in the atmosphere. Always a good place to stop at. People are friendly and it always helps that there's the occasional doggo outside to pet.

Gotta love this eclectic coffee place. Kind of motorcycle/ artsy theme filled with 70s kitchen tables and old church pews. Some good eats, vegan options & a number of aptly named coffee drinks.

Killer Coffee, Lousy Service.....

I’m not lying. I’m not exaggerating. I’m in FEAR for their Cold Brew Coffee. I went there around 1:30-2:30 in the afternoon for coffee with my best friend. It is 4:16 pm the NEXT DAMN DAY. I have not slept a wink. I cant sleep. I have no other reason other than drinking this coffee. I’m jittery and I’m tired. I called in from Work and I SWEAR IM TELLING THE TRUTH.

Other than that food is great. Atmosphere is great. Workers are amazing.

I have been coming to this place since i was a kid, my father camilo would bring me in every damn day and i would always get one of their amazing cookies. My grandfather had a build around the area called joes east coast car shops, we would always run for a nice hot cup of coffee. LOVE THE PLACE to this day and always will. Huge supporter for fuel, i love the work guys and gals keep it UP.

PS... The food and service are amazing just have to be nice to them, respect is a two way street foaks

First time there and I loved it. Killer aesthetic, staff was fast and friendly, and the coffee is fantastic.

I had the iced cappuccino and it was just what I needed to cool down and pick me up.

This place is famous with the college kid crowd, for the atmosphere alone. You can sit and draw for hrs, have great food, amazing coffee (or chai) as I always love. The staff is fast and friendly, and the music is great!! <3

This was a great place to eat. The food was tasty like it is in Vegas and its a cool place to look at withe all the art work and local activities to learn about in the community. My cousin and i found it was right down the block from her shop. It was great

I've been going here since 1993, and I've seen the mayor, crusty punks, business people, and hippies all happily co-existing. The food is delicious, the Milky Way is the best beverage you'll ever drink, and the staff is relatively clean.

My girlfriend and I have officially made Fuel Cafe our morning routine. Every day we have to get at least one Chai Late each and most days we get breakfast here too. The staff and the atmosphere is what really sold us, if someone works there they absolutely know what they're doing, better employees than most coffee shops we go to.

A riverwest classic. Trendy staff, good coffee, and various broody artist types around writing their new novel or whatever. Food is great too. Vegan and vegetarian options if that's your thing.

The food was great and I loved their sport tea.
