Perfect location,great atmosphere.
Service was excellent, and amenities are high-end.
Definitely I recommend and come back to stay.

Newly remodeled in the heart of Sonoma. We previously stayed at the Fairmont which was nice but far from the square. If we get the opportunity to choose again, we would choose el dorado! So close to restaurants and tasting rooms, shops, the park, everything is right there! Parking was not an issue for us, even on the weekend. The manager showed us around the room and he was lovely. He seemed very proud of the newly remodeled rooms. So clean and surprisingly quiet, given one of the best restaurants in the square is right downstairs!

Nice spot for a quick bite to eat! Both dishes were delicious and the service was quick and friendly.

Kudos to Gerard S., the bartender, for a quick service that got me in and out within 30 minutes on a bustling Saturday afternoon. His efficiency ensured I made it in time for my wine tour van departure. Great spot on the map for timely service!

Ate dinner there. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing. We did not have drinks but the drink menu was extensive and the wine list was also quite extensive. Enjoyed sitting outside. We had the filet, a green salad and the carpaccio, all of which were great.

Then had Rancho Hueavera with chicken, shrimp tacos and fried chicken sandwich - all of them were delicious

Great food and drinks. A must besides The Girl and Fig. The Paella is a bit crispy but flavor wise amazing. The wagu carpaccio is delicious and their butternut squash soup is fantanstic

I met with friends for drinks and dinner at EDK for a delightful evening. Drinks were excellent, the food was excellent, and the service was all you could ask for. As a local, I have watched EDK evolve into a very special destination.

Stayed here for 5 days. Loved the room and the attached restaurant was a major bonus. The staff were very accommodating and helpful in giving restaurant recommendations. I really appreciated that the room got straightened up and cleaned during the day while we were gone. The only very minor complaint I had was parking (I still give it 5 stars honestly). They only have a small parking lot in the back, and if that’s full you need to park on the street wherever it’s available. Street parking is free though, so it’s not a big deal. The complimentary champagne when we checked in was also a nice surprise!

Charming hotel in an historic building, conveniently located on the Sonoma Plaza. The staff is attentive, the restaurant was great, and the facility is well-kept. My friend found the showers a bit on the small side, but I’m much shorter, so it didn’t bother me. Couldn’t say if every room is like that or not. We had a king overlooking the Plaza. Sonoma rolls up the sidewalks about 9-10 pm, so noise was not an issue for us. There is espresso on the rooms and brewed coffee in the lobby each morning. Parking requires a tag from the hotel. We didn’t have any trouble finding a spot, but on Tuesday there was a Farmer’s Market in the Plaza, so that created some traffic. It was also quite fun to walk around and enjoy the band and family atmosphere as it seems the whole town comes out for it. Nice to see people enjoying being together. Overall, a lovely place in a great location. Would stay again.

I just completed my third stay at El Dorado Hotel and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The rooms are impeccably clean, beautiful and comfortable. The food is amazing and can’t be beat. The water is the best! The staff is so nice and helpful. The location is fun. You could ask for more, but why? Seems like everything you could need or want. I’ll be back!

The food was absolutely perfect! We loved the oysters and burger. Our server did a fantastic job. He knew the menu and was able to accommodate our being in a hurry. The drinks were delicious and we would go back time and time again!

My son and I enjoyed our wine tasting experience and staying at the El Dorado hotel. The location was perfect w/walking distance to shops restaurants and all the wineries. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next year!

Food repeatedly solid, atmosphere nice (and warm!) and kudos especially for service: our waiter pampered us, exhausted parents, and let us switch table so I wouldn't be in the draft. At the end of the day, it's what dining out is about! (What? Not just the food?)

Amazing dinner and drinks in the perfect Sonoma restaurant atmosphere! We loved the proximity to everything so close and the server was quick to recommend the best dishes and pairings for wine. Not too mention the dessert was absolutely unbelievable. Highly recommend for dinner and a fun evening out, make sure to take the time to enjoy each course.

Had the best Seafood Paella at El Dorado - ever !! And that includes over the years enjoying this dish around the US - including San Francisco where we used to live and now San Diego, at a Barcelo (the Spanish Club Med) resort in Costa Rica, in Spain and the Italian rough equivalent - including in Sicily.

The shellfish was marvelously fresh, the Salmon cubes succulent/lightly cooked and the rice crunchy on the bottom.

The Truffle fries were also excellent as was the Vegetarian Risotto - and the Deep Fried Rock Cod. Bravo Chef Navarro - who was trained by the best Chefs in NYC.
