Came here for brunch/lunch during a visit to Coronado Island. Such a beautiful restaurant, with a lovely view of the courtyard and the water. It truly provides the coastal experience. The drinks here are so cute and very tasty. Serea may have the best spanakopita I’ve ever had. So delicious! We got a side of Greek fries which were also very tasty. I ordered the scrambled eggs as my main which were great. My sig other ordered a 3lb fish (he was very hungry haha) and forgot to ask what the market price was… so we were a bit alarmed when the bill arrived and saw $170 on the fish alone. However, he finished it all and will attest that it tasted fantastic (just maybe not worth $170 because that’s a bit crazy for a fish LOL). Overall, the experience was great and the food was delicious, just learn from our mistakes and ask what their market price is before you order! We would definitely return again and recommend it to anyone taking a visit to Coronado Island.

Peachy at Serea was an incredible host and the Cruffin is a must have! You will not reget the views or the best service in Coronado!

Absolutely delicious and a wonderful view! Plates were perfect size and so tasty! Definitely chef curated and with excellent flavors! Love their roasted carrots with Greek yogurt and mint daily vegetable. The service was outstanding, I was left alone to enjoy the view and my book, but waited on very attentively!!! Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend!!!

Hard to believe we are enjoying this meal in SD; it's got a very Hawaiian vibe!!
Delicious lubina fish served table side with crispy eggplant and patatas bravas.
Drinks and food are very expensive but thoroughly enjoyed the food. Amazing overall!!

The food is not cheap but worth the dining experience! We had a large group, met old family friends here while staying at the Del....the food was excellent! Our children were happy the atmosphere was great....we would have preferred to be waterfront but because of the size of the group we had tk dine in.... We had the best server and he was filipino! He new what kind of sauce we like for our seafood lol! Would definitely return here when we come back!

Fantastic world-class service, delicious food, best spanikopita I've ever tasted! Wonderful atmosphere, how can you go wrong at the Hotel Del? I went there for my birthday and am so happy I did. Marvelous experience!

Maxing food, amazing view and amazing service! We went for dinner at 5.45 pm. So we could enjoy the evening view, dusk view and night view. Fish was very fresh and delicious. Our server was very kind and patient in explaining the specials. It was crowded. Highly recommend this place. I would definitely go here again.

Unbeatable location/view and actually exceptionally nice food and service. Maybe we ordered well or got lucky, but we had a fabulous meal. Whole grilled rock cod was fresh, juicy, and very finely seasoned (not over salted!). Sides of patatas bravas and roasted peppers were lovely and substantial portions. Greek salad was amusingly small but well seasoned with good ingredients. Sorbet was lovely. If you're concerned about price stick to the whole grilled fish and sides and skip salads and drinks and bigger desserts. Not cheap, but I think reasonable for the location, service, and most importantly food if you order smart.

Menu is limited to brunch options only. It would be good to have more substantial food options for lunch. I tried the apetizers and they are like main courses basically. Octopus is the best I’ve tried and the cocktails are amazing. The service is fast and very friendly.

Spontaneous dinner here with my husband when we came to visit the holiday experience at hotel Del Coronado

They had one reservation available and it was the perfect time for what we needed.

We had a really great dinner experience!

Got the Brussel Sprouts appetizer, and since we wanted something a little healthy, the server actually got them pan fried for us instead of crispy deep fried. They steamed them a little and then lightly stand fried them so they were very less oily.
Got the pension and bread crumbs and white balsamic dressing on the side as well.
Combination of them all was 10/10

Charcoal Grilled Octopus was beyond amazing! It came with Marble potato, red onion, sumac, olive, red chimichurri, and OH MAN! This was a really good flavor overload. Every little component on that plate went together so well with the octopus you had to get them all together. I would recommend everyone getting their own of this instead of sharing haha

Simple Greens Salad + Grilled Swordfish was really nice as well.
Salad was butter lettuce, shaved fennel, radish, beet, creamy sherry vinaigrette - Actually quite simple.
Swordfish was cooked perfectly and so soft as well. The flavor actually came through through the entire fish and not just on the outside. A must try.

We really wanted the Wood Roasted Cauliflower, but they were all out. Kinda sad :(

Had a lovey date night here! We sat in their beautiful outside seating (with heat-lamps). It was so lovely to enjoy the view of the Hotel Del Coronado accompanied by the ocean. Our dinner started off with a lovely house cocktail, then a delicious grilled octopus, and finally our entrees. Staff was courteous and attentive. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

We arrived at Hotel Del Coronado late and luckily we were able to have last minute dinner at Serea.

I’m not the one to try different types of food but wow - this place did not fail.

Everything from the Zucchini and Eggplant chips to the Chocolate cake desert - was amazing.

I posted tons of photos to go with this review and I hope you come enjoy what Serea has to offer.

One of my top favorite restaurants here on Coronado Island.

Serea was the perfect location for a special dinner while in San Diego. Located on the beach at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Best Greek salad I have had outside of Athens. The sea bass was delicious and the Message in a bottle dessert was so fun and yummy!

Fantastic food in a sleek, laid-back, contemporary setting. Bring a hefty wallet as the price is not cheap. Filet Mignon and roasted chicken were highlights for sure.

Probably the best dinner I’ve had in a very long time. Located in the already idilic Hotel Del Coronado, everything about Serea embodies the class and charm one would expect of this establishment. We had the crispy Brussels, swordfish, steak, shrimp, and salmon - all were mind blowing in taste and presentation. I think we tried the entire beverage selection and everyone found several to enjoy, every item we ordered was astoundingly good. A perfect place for the last dinner of our lengthy work trip to celebrate all that we accomplished. Will be dreaming of this place for sure.

Enjoyed drinks, appetizers, and dessert at Serea. Our server Anthony was a delight and provided amazing recommendations. The octopus was cooked to perfection and high quality. Hope to be back again.

Spectacular culinary experience in a low key San Diego Beach setting. Our choices included caviar (it was divine), grilled octopus (tender with a wonderful grilled flavor), salmon, ahi, steak, crispy eggplant (all amazingly perfect!).
The creme bruleé with citrus was superb. Excellent service from Brett. The food, atmosphere, and service made our family get together an even better experience.
