Cafe Central (Davis School District Nutrition Services)

This is a gem and a must try if you've never been here. It's mostly sandwiches and specials and it closes early everyday of the week. Basically, it follows the school schedule. The food here is amazing and the people are really sweet.

Wow, this place is a diamond in the rough. Located in the Clearfield BDO. But it is worth the drive. They serve breakfast and lunch. Closes at 2pm daily. Mon - Fri. Smaller menu but plenty of options to get you what you want. Sandwiches, salads, soups, hamburgers and a daily special hot meal plate. Today was chicken cordon blue. I had a turkey sandwich and the meat portion was more than both slices of bread combined. More than fair pricing for a fresh made to order sandwich. The place was full so you know it is good. They also have great desserts. Since this is a school district facility the desserts are what the school gets. The peanut butter bar was really good . For a quick bite that is good and a good price go try it

Cafe Central has got to be one of my favorite places to visit so far! The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the work they do is incredible. Not only do they offer food out of their cafe they also offer catering and ship their baked goods to other school districts. They have outdoor seating and offer a weekly BBQ.

Yummy food and definitely well priced. I love their lemon bars and corn bread. There paninis are my favorite thing to get! Perfect lunch spot

A wonderful place rich in history and delicious treats and daily specials. The meatloaf was very delicious, and you will enjoy trying anything on the menu. The staff is very kind and friendly too!

The food here is not 5-star, but the price and atmosphere are 5 star. This is not a gourmet experience, but the price is amazing. They also do catering. Our stake did a young women's camp for hundreds of people last summer and used Cafe Central. The food was great.

Personally, I like their veggie omelete (although a little greasy), and the hashbrowns were more soggy than crispy, but I definitely recommend it due to the price.

Great place to have cater your event. People are kind and helpful. I f you have a craving for peanut butter bars from your school days, this is the place.

In the summer. BBQ on the patio! Outstanding! Food is really good here if ordering off of the menu. Prices are very reasonable.

The Santa Fe panini is our favorite! Our schedule doesn't always match up to when they are open, so don't go as often as we would like. But it is yummy!

Amazing! Fantastic food! Great service! Would eat here every day if I lived closer and their catering equally amazing! The food was ready for me to pick up and was absolutely delicious! Five stars all around!

The food here is exceptional. The dessert bars and cakes are to die for. I was so pleasantly surprised when I first came here, it's honestly my favourite place to eat for lunch. I'd rather Cafe Central over McDonald's or any fast food place.

The service is quick and efficient. They work like absolute Trojans, it's fascinating to watch them all work like a well oiled machine!

The atmosphere is okay, there's separate rooms or the main room to eat in, I've always gotten take out because I've had to rush home, but I'm sure it would feel more vibrant and welcoming if I had the time to sit down and eat there.

The barbecue on the patio Wednesdays during the summer are some of the best bang for the buck barbecue around... And frankly it's also some of the best barbecue around without even considering the price. One of my favorite go to meals

Great Cafe with a different soup every day. Great sandwiches too. Best peanut butter bars ever...just like we used to get in school!

Food is good. Price is great for what your getting, both quantity and quality.

They have the most delicious peanut butter bars. Every time I host an event I make an order through cafe central. Their dessert bars are my favorite things to order, and we almost never have extras because they are such a hit. This past time I called them on super short notice and they still squeezed my order in for the next day. Thank you!

I love that they do catering! We get air of our desserts there for family reunions or large gatherings. They make some amazing peanut butter bars that our family absolutely love. Everything that we have had from there has been amazing and gentle on the wallet. Everything is always on time and tastes great!

Great place to eat. The peninis are fantastic, and the service is fast. It's also cheaper than most fast food restaurants and has comparable speed.

Chicken cordon blue day is the best. I don’t think I have ever had a meal here I did not like. The service is AMAZING!! Peanut butter bars are exactly like as you remember from your school years. The cost is not bad at all. Daily specials is what I love about this place, but their normal menu is delicious as well. Cinnamon Rolls they have during breakfast hours are soft and smothered in yummy cream cheese frosting. I would highly recommend this place!!
