I'm having a hard time not using an expletive to describe how amazing this place is. Best tacos ever. The queso is out of this world. Very reasonable prices. And our server Juan was the nicest guy.

We are from San Diego so we are always on the hunt for good Mexican restaurants. Cafe Sabor has great food and a wide variety of options.

My wife and I got the carne asada burrito which was tasty and very large. Although we both felt the beans could have used a tad more salt.

My mom got a combo platter and she said that it was the best chili relleno ever! (It was)

The kids meals are a good value compared to other restaurants and come with a kids size drink an dessert

There are specials ever night of the week

We went on a Saturday night and it was not too crowded and the servers were helpful and friendly.

Overall a great experience and we will return

I have always enjoyed the food we have gotten here. Not my favorite salsas that they bring with the chips, but not bad. I just prefer a hotter and thicker salsa personally. The price is fair for the quality and quantity of food you get.

My only regret is that I didn't order a beer. The staff was amazing and the food was a bargain, I would pay more for your tacos. We came in with a large group and you sat us quickly. The Blue Bird chocolate is a great touch. I will be back.

Stopping in for lunch. I had the burrito special with sweet pulled pork. It was so good and filling. I really liked the ’hotter’ salsa, it was not hot. I have seen the other location, in Logan, I guess that is the original. I will have to go try that out too. Highly recommended.

Cutest little place!!! Hidden little gem near the front runner station. Waitress was so nice & helpful with recommendations. Mild salsa was so yummy!!! Chips & salsa was really good. Food came out pretty quickly! Rice was really good. I had a tostada & it was really good. My only complaint would be it Would have been nice to have more than one slice of tomato to cut up. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back!!

Went in for lunch with my family and we were really impressed. We ordered the Shrimp Ceviche, Supreme Sweet Pork Burrito, Sweet Pork Quesadilla, and the Chicken Mole. All of our meals tasted great, the delicious food hit the spot. The chips and salsa were also really good, they were devoured within 30 seconds. It was overall a good experience. The restaurant had a tidy, clean, and fun environment. Staff was friendly and service was good. We were all really satisfied and happy with our experience.

I really enjoyed my first visit here. I've lived in the area for many years now and I now regret not coming sooner. Hannah was a wonderful waitress. She was very attentive, kind, funny, and was a prime example of what a waitress should be. I enjoyed the food as well. The shrimp was plump and juicy. The Diablo sauce it was in was very flavorful and it was so much food I couldn't eat it all. The free chips and salsa was food as well. The kids really enjoy the included drinks and ice cream that came with the meals as so many places charge extra these days. I will be returning to dine again.

We went with a pretty big group but they were still able to get us seated quickly. The food was very delicious (but perhaps a bit overpriced). The service was a little slow, but we did go at peak dinner time with a big group, so it wasn't a big deal.
You have to go through the Trax parking lot to get there, and at first glance it looks like there isn't any parking for the restaurant itself, but there is parking on the south side of the building. You just have to go all the way through the Trax parking first.

Wonderful food. Had the Combo Burrito, Flavor explosion in my mouth. Salsa and chips are great. Love the building with rustic look and feel. Great happy, friendly employees.

We were tipped off to this place, and it's our new favorite Mexican restaurant!! If you're lucky enough to get James as your server, you will have the best experience. He is kind, personable, and might even tell you about their THREE DOLLAR MARGARITAS!!! You read that right.
Love the atmosphere, the decor, and the whole vibe. Not something I'd expect to find in Layton.

Service has been hit and miss, but the food has never missed! Great out of the way place to get some good Mexican food. Love the chips and salsa.

We had to ask to place our order. Waited for chips &Sm salsa after he said he'd bring it right away. He was busy flirting with a lady rolling silverware in the back. The kids meal order was wrong. He was very nice and responded well, but seemed very distracted.

Ordered online and it was ready before the time estimated. Food was delicious and huge portions. Great atmosphere and service when I went inside for pickup.

Great food and great service. Loved the chips and salsa. They filled my drink before it ever got empty but also didn’t hover. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.

We have been going to Cafe Sabor for years up in Logan and this location is just as good as the Original location. Everything is good here, but our favorite is the Pollo Durango! This location has indoor and outdoor seating. You can watch the trains and Front Runner from the patio. Fabulous staff, great food!

We went to the Layton location... It was a weird space to get to, but good GOD totally worth the GPS recalculations 😬. Walk in the door, bam, greeted by a whole case of fine chocolates. Umm ok wow super nice. To your right, and I have to say, it takes ####s, you see the kitchen right as you walk in. Super clean and yet obviously a working kitchen. The staff seemed super happy to be there... And it shows in the food. But first, the service , Tyson, our server , was spot on. Fantastic, always there when you needed him, no hovering. Ok. The food. To start off, the food arrived quickly, and hot (I hate lukewarm lightbulb warmed food). It was served with pride, and dare I say, flair. My husband had the Cali-changa. It was beautiful to look at, and it was delicious (heh, I snuck a piece). I had a shredded beef quesadilla. I eat quesadillas often, as I still suffer from PTSD due to a sordid encounter with Mexican food ages ago. How do I describe this. Starting with the technical construction. There was a perfect balance of beef to cheese; they filled the tortillas all the way to the edge, no empty edges here. It was crispy , cheesy (duh), and very well presented. The flavor. The beef was perfectly seasoned, no nasty fat chunk surprises, they use top quality beef. Super yummy. Saved some space for dessert. We ordered the churros. Choo-rows. LOL. I come from a place where churros are a part of regular life. These were expertly prepared. Crispy on the outside, chewy inside. Just enough cinnamon and sugar, not too much, just right. Ok wait- they serve it with 2 side dipping sauces. Caramel mmmmmmm and mole chocolate. Try it. It's not regular chocolate. It's well, just try it. 😃. So price wise, 2 adult drinks, 2 full entrees, 1 dessert for 35 and change. All and all a great value. Oh and the portions we're ginormous :) go- just go. Shop local, eat local!♥

Cafe Sabor has been my go-to Mexican restaurant for years. When I lived in the area, we would go several times a month. Now on a recent visit back to the area after being gone for 5 years, we had to eat there again. It did not disappoint! The service and food were as great as ever. They still serve one of the best chile relleno’s you can get. Highly recommend for some great Mexican food!

Alley was a great server. We were all the way upstairs and before we could think of what we needed she was there refilling or checking in.
