Great brunch today! Fresh homemade salad options that they’re all excellent. From pickled beets to herring and lox the choices were great. The carved off the bone ham to biscuits and some of the best sausage gravy ever. And an awesome desert bar! We will be back soon!

We had the fish fry last night and it was amazing! The broiled fish was cooked to perfection and they even bring you garnish trays like an old supper club. The service is excellent and the owners are on the floor if you need anything at all. They have a Sunday brunch that is top 5 in my book!

Was looking for an adventure found this fabulous restaurant! We are intending to become regulars! Dinner was amazing! We sampled the rigatoni and it was to die for!

They have a Sunday brunch that is pretty good! Right on the border too so quick trips to WI if you're feeling a drive!

The owner and staff are very friendly and personable. The food is excellent, high quality. Their special event buffets are top of the line. Full bar. A room for events. Dining is like a supper club atmosphere. Enjoy every time.

Big Foot Inn is a Wisconsin style Supper Club that's right on the Illinois side of the Wisconsin border. We have lived in Capron for many years and have passed it a number of times and said we would check it out. We ended up going last Thanksgiving day after our plans changed last minute. We fell in love.

Highlights are an amazing Sunday Champagne Brunch, daily specials, the prime rib (it is *wow*), broasted chicken and their Italian food is really, really good. And French onion soup. All the soups I've had have been delicious. I love soup.

The owners, Dominick and Maribel (they took it over ~5 years ago) are great people who treat their staff well. Most of their staff have been there for years and they speak so highly of the owners. They buy quality product and it shows in the food. Dominick stops by our table every time we're in and he remembers our names and details of our previous conversations. It's the little things.

Oh and a shout out to all the staff, but to our first and favorite server, Mikaela (probably have spelled her name wrong).

If you're a sucker for dessert like I am, the carrot cake is the best I've ever had. As someone who used to weigh 400lbs, I know carrot cake. My Italian hubby says the tiramisu is the best he's ever had. Maribel makes all the desserts. If you're there for the brunch, grab a lemon square (or 5) - it's so good!

As with any supper club, there's a well stocked bar. The drinks aren't cheap, but they're strong!

The food is very fairly priced. The portions are more than ample. Dinners come with a relish tray, soup or salad and some of the best fresh bread I've had in a long time.

The decor is outdated but the place is clean. I choose great food and service over decor any day. The bathroom is immaculate. I can't be the only one who uses the bathroom at a place I visit the first time to judge if I want to eat there.

So there you have it, Big Foot Inn is the best place you haven't been to that will become a regular stop once you do.

Excellent food and service. Super friendly wait staff. Very clean. Owner came around and checked on our meals and chatted. Been here multiple times and consistently great.

My family enjoyed Thanksgiving buffet. Excellent staff, seating, service and food selections. So many great choices from fruit and salads, main course to the finish line desserts. Cannot be disappointed. Whole lotta yum!

Wonderful food and service. We took a friend to celebrate their birthday, and they brought out our cake, after our delicious dinner. They had a candle in her piece of cake and sang Happy birthday. The managers made sure to wish her a happy birthday on our way out. Never anything but a great experience at Big Foot Inn!

7/7/23 Update ~ It doesnt get better than perfect. This was an outstanding meal . Every step of it. This is a different owner and they are doing an excellent job running it. Original review dating from 2017 ~ Excellent meal. A great value, very generous portion. Fresh made saiads with the relish tray. Both meals were great. Vegetables with the main course were frozen. They were good but still the frozen option. This is the only reason why I gave 4* instead of 5*. Everything else was super. Service was perfect. :)We will be back. Very enjoyable!

Our family was really happy with this dinner find. They even gave us little desserts for free at the end of our meal.

This is our second visit . First visit was amazing. Second visit We did have a situation and Dominic the owner took care of it and honestly I've never met a owner like this. We've been to hundreds of restaurants all over the country and you can see from our reviews we travel all over and we've had bad visits and I will leave a bad review if a situation wasn't resolved but I can't leave anything but a 5 star because this guy and I say guy because behind every buisness is a man woman or family running it and this guy deserves a 5 star because he went above and beyond and is a genuine great person.

I really hate to rave about a place but this one deserves it. Warm friendly staff makes you feel like they like they sincerely welcome you there.

Several of the party had the turkey meal. When I ask our server she replied it was Thanksgiving on a plate. She was right.

Homemade stuffing, made from scratch gravey and tender fresh cooked turkey. Not the usual skimpy slices these 1/4 to 1/2 inch freshly carved. Mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.
The service was very attentive but not smothering. She even brought another carafe of gravey because she thought we needed more.

The owner stopped by afterwards to check on us.

On second thought I lied about the above don't believe it. Leave for those of us who already know about it.

A real Wisconsin Supper club! On the border of IL! On the way to Lake Geneva! We were impressed, great food, neat atmosphere. We had stuffed chicken breast, homemade! My husband had Turkey dinner, fresh, all homeade!!! Great place.

The best carrot cake I've ever had! They accommodated our party of 9 on short notice. The service was excellent and everyone had leftovers to take home. We'll be back!

Beautiful place. The main dining area can be loud especially with the waitresses speaking and laughing loudly. Suggest the Bar area small off shoot. Food was very good although pricey.

This place is outstanding! The owner is truly passionate about what he does and it shows in their food. Very accommodating and staff and the atmosphere is warm with a bit of a throwback charm to it. I'll definitely be back for more!
