Howe State Park

Every time we go, it is amazing. I recommend a visit during each season. The park is fairly vast so each visit can be completely different. Don't forget bug repellent. Dog friendly place, bags are a must. Also not a good place for bird feeding, there may even be a sign saying not to do so.

Great state park. Lots of well maintained trails and a lovely little pond and waterfall area. Named after Elias Howe whose home was where the main park is. His homestead footprint still exists. Some trails are steep and gravelly while others are more moderate. Howe trails connect easily with the Depot Rail Trail

A beautiful place for a walk in the woods with my new pup. I love that there are several trails to choose from for added interest for each visit.

What a hidden jem! We went and walked around and had a picnic lunch! Cute walking paths and little bridges to go over. Def recommended coming here for a nice place to hike with kids. Bathrooms aren't open yet just FYI

It is a beautiful place to enjoy with family and friends, a good place to walk, have a picnic, fish, ride a bike and take your children to enjoy.

Our family really loves this park! It's always clean, many trails, grounds are well maintained. Everyone we've run into is friendly and dog owners are respectful. I've been on other trails where you constantly see poop bags and I don't ever see that issue here!

Howe Park has long been a favorite local area of mine. So peaceful, serene, and many great trails to walk. Plenty of areas set up over by the water to relax or have a picnic or even a small gathering with family/friends.

I've always loved howe state park, it used to be a fantastic swimming area but I don't know if they have reopened the park though, but there's still plenty of fun to have there. There's hiking trails, and picnic areas, and plenty more things to do if you like nature. Great family destination to visit for sure

A nice state park with a small lake, trails, restrooms and picnic tables. It was very quiet during our weekday visit. We talked with the nice young man who maintains the park about the difference plants and trees.

Great park, nice trails, plenty of parking and hands down the best whitetail deer habitat in all of MA. Deer everywhere we went, but the big, mature bucks are hidden well in the nooks and crannies.

Very peaceful great place for a small picnic or a larger family get together, be prepared is a park not a venue. Beautiful waterfall's, very scenic very polite staff.
