Shanahan's Coffee House

I have been here several times. The atmosphere is always cheerful, the food freshly made, and the drinks refreshing. This is a small independent coffee shop, which means that they are not built for mass production, so don't expect a Starbucks assembly line. They take the time to insure you have a pleasant experience, and a great cup of coffee, ice tea, or whatever.

Today they had a acoustic guitar player, playing softly in a corner up front. What a nice treat. Everybody seemed to be enjoying the entertainment (which wasn't too loud), or the company of their companions. Lots of chatter going on between the tables, so you know that there are plenty of loyal patrons that have gotten to know each other.

Shanahan's is the place to go. Way better than Brew52 - a chill spot to read, do work, or be with friends. Seasonal drinks are always the bomb (but their regular menu is a great go-to). Love love their thai chicken salad (so gooddd) and all of their coffee. I always get one coffee drink and then one light seltzer drink and I feel light and happy the rest of the day. Absolutely go here!

Awesome Cafe! Love the homey decor it was relaxing and a nice change of pace. Loved the Denver breakfast croissant sandwich best breakfast sandwich I have had, along with being reasonably priced! As for coffee I prefer simple but the mocha latte with extra shot was absolutely perfect not to sweet not bitter it was perfect every time I got it I would highly recommend this place over major brand cafes!

A very welcoming atmosphere. A cute little glass shelf of fresh homemade baked goods. A menu full of delicious sandwiches, toasts, and drinks. I love places/people that will surprise me with something yummy to drink. Both gals working that day were lovely and very helpful with suggestions, with a smile the whole time. I was delighted with a “nectar latte”, lavender, vanilla, and honey. Yum! Go and stick around a while. Wish we hadn’t been leaving town that morning and in a scurry.

I've only been a handful of times, but it's always an extremely pleasant one when I go. Food is great and fresh, drinks are delicious and they are very accommodating. Such a cute place with lovely staff.

Great little hidden gem. They have plenty of options for everyone, including vegans. Love this place.

Had a great lunch at Shannon’s today! My chicken salad was perfect with grapes and walnuts …..they also offered a Vegan menu for my daughter……we enjoyed the Irish theme too. Will be back when out this way!

Tons of sugar free options for my latte, which was creamy and delightful. Also the young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. Will be back

chai latte was the best i’ve ever had! bomb pop drink was good too, would taste great as a cocktail! staff were very nice, i’ve also bought the jewelry in the front a few times and i’ve got compliments on it!

This place is everything a coffee shop should be! The Keto Bowl was delicious and the Black Irishman blended was AmAzInG. The employees were friendly and they have a HUGE menu for such a little place. I predict that they will need a larger spot in no time!!! 💖

I moved to the Waterford area a few months ago. I like to support small businesses. I found this gem! I can’t say enough about the staff, the atmosphere & the delicious coffee! I am sure the food is scrumptious!!

A quaint and irresistibly charming café with a rotating menu of original and creative drinks, home made bakery items, and breakfast-lunch menu that keeps me happy every time I come and no matter what I order. The staff is kind, attentive, and flexible allowing for substitutions and personalizations that will allow anyone to enjoy their wide variety of items regardless of their dietary needs. I love the food, and I love the atmosphere. It’s one of the few locations in my hometown that can never go away without it stopping being home.

Breakfast toast was delicious! Americano was yummy. Great cute little place.

We stopped here just to get a quick meal on a road trip and were surprised to have some of the best vegan food and drinks of the whole trip. The chickpea sandwich was a real standout as one of the better interpretations of that kind of sandwich that I’ve had! The staff was very accommodating and the menu breaks down any dietary/allergen concerns better than most. Overall, I was incredibly impressed and would recommend Shanahan’s to anyone coming through the area.

Stopped in to check it out and was pleased to discover how cute this place is. Asked for a recommendation and the owner asked if I liked coconut. She made me a coffee that was fantastic! Reminded me of an almond joy bar- which I love!
Def be back and would bring a date here in a heartbeat.
