Early Bird Biscuit Co. Bellevue

The people working were super nice and friendly! The biscuits were amazing. We got the biscuit and gravy and the ham biscuit. If I were to complain, I would say that I wish they had more coffee options, but that’s if I wanted to complain. The store is decorated with vintage pieces like radios. Can’t wait to go back!

I was working in the area and these wonderful people were open to satisfy my hunger. My fellow work and I ordered two biscuits sandwiches and a peach pop tart. Needless to say they were gone in minutes! Also the folks had some left over biscuits and was so so generous to give them to us! We shared them with our fellow workers and everyone loved them. The people at Early Bird were super friendly, kind and generous. It was so nice of them to give us those extra biscuits. What a gem of a place and I can't to to go back and get another biscuit. Amazing people and lovely biscuits!

Very nice. Personal service at the counter. It was our first time there and I explained that to them. They were very nice to explain everything. We both got the special omelette biscuit and coffee. We sat outside as well. Nice neighborhood with friendly people.

The best biscuits, period. Plus, a nicer staff you will never meet. Always up for a chat while they prepare your order, these biscuit gurus have a great attitude towards customers and their work!

Fast and friendly service! Check their Instagram the day before to see the unique/special biscuit for the next day. Pictured was an insanely delicious cheese and scallion biscuit. 🤤 I recommend their Biscuits and Crazy (Gravy), as well as egg and cheese customizable sandwiches. Blanchards coffee rocks, too! In addition to tasty eats, I love the friendly neighborhood vibes.✌

I love a biscuit expert and she loves your biscuits! We enjoy a biscuit breakfast once a month and this place will now be our biscuit place. Next time I hope I'm not as excited and over order, getting ten fairly large biscuits(sandwiches, gravy covered, and plain w/ fresh jam) for two adults a toddler and an infant. I feel like I had a lapse in consciousness while ordering, when I got home I was surprised by the contents of my bag and box. The coffee was great too, roasted by a local roaster.

The staff was very nice. The staff is also very energetic and enjoyable. The biscuits are good. Great flavor. They are firm but also soft enough. They don't fall apart in your hands. The space is not large. They have a few tables and on a nice morning they have two tables outside.

It is very homey and cute. The biscuits are huge and unique. It is not a bad price for what you get either.

This was a great experience.
Tiny place, very few seats, and there was a 15 minute wait for our food.
But it is a must stop for a fresh breakfast biscuit sandwich.

Since they go through them so fast, all the biscuits are hot and fresh out of the oven.
And they are huge, the size of an adult male hand.
But not just big, but delicious.
We had one with the special of the day veggie omelet, and the other was the traditional ham biscuit.
Both tasted great and were too big for a person to finish.
The staff in the store was friendly and cool to interact with.
The customers seemed like locals out for Saturday morning walk, so a relaxed atmosphere.
Only open until noon, and they can run out of eggs, so get there early.
Worth the trip.

I had heard of Early Bird Biscuit Co. and had been wanting to try them out. I work near Northside so Bellevue is on the way. I am so glad I stopped in. The ham and egg biscuit was huge and delicious. The cold brew coffee was amazing. The staff were awesome. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. Super nice folks doing it right.

We each had the biscuits and gravy, plus we ordered the dessert biscuit. We could have easily split one of the biscuits and gravy and split the dessert, it was a lot of food and very tasty! Great first impression. Very cute neighborhood around Early Bird and it seemed like a lot of the people who came in were regulars. The staff was super friendly and the food was great! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

- too far for us to come regularly 😂

Great biscuits. I’ve been a fan since they first opened in their original location on Lakeside. Even if you aren’t usually a fan, their biscuits and crazy (spicy sausage gravy) is hard to beat. It has a few tables and chairs but is geared more toward takeout. We pick up biscuits here about every other weekend. This location is a little less busy than the location in the fan but has a slightly more limited selection of their other cookies and pastries.

Absolutely extraordinary! It smelled like my grandmother’s kitchen. (She made biscuits or yeast tools every day.)
I had the special of the day: country ham, egg, and sharp cheddar on a bacon cheddar biscuit. It was divinely delicious. The biscuits are also GBD (golden brown & delicious)!

My wife and I are from Philadelphia- the land of cheesesteaks, not biscuits. So to come to visit Richmond and taste one of their biscuits was a great memory. Add the Sausage biscuits and Crazy with a home made pop tart makes the spot truly memorable. Our first stop whenever we’re in town.

Awesome Bellevue neighborhood bakery! Biscuits and gravy are "crazy" good (my favorite). The biscuits are made right in front of you. They have several offerings with an option to build your own. Don't forget to grab a house made bakery item....they go fast. Early Bird has become my Richmond tradition !!

There isn't enough space to hold all the reasons I love this place. The biscuits and pastries and coffee are delicious. Pairing the great food with the equally delightful staff makes every visit a treasured experience. I begin looking forward to my next visit as I'm walking out the door.

New experience for me today. Tried the Pepper Jack biscuit which was excellent. They created a non-biscuit egg/spinach order for my wife which she loved. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Look forward to visiting often in the future.

The biscuits are amazing and staff are so nice and accommodating. This little take out place is one of my regular stops and I always introduce out of town friends to Early Bird when they visit. I'm so glad they returned to Northside! Yummy.

I am a big fan of their biscuits and delicious baked treats. I love the special flavor biscuit they have daily as well. I am always a hero when I come home with some Early Bird biscuits as a surprise.

Great small business with two locations. I love their biscuits and jams! Straight forward list of breakfast options and God coffee. They also partner with another local business for donuts/pastries.
