Cider House Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend as it is right at the southern point of skyline drive. This was a wonderfully relaxing weekend that we would recommend to anyone! Melinda was so kind and hospitable, the rooms were beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and it was so fun to pet the animals! The breakfast and service really felt like a luxury, thank you so much for having us Melinda!

Absolutely stunning!!!! Was the escape and small getaway that I needed. Melinda, the hostess is so sweet, thoughtful and most of all so friendly. Breakfast is amazing, all locally sourced from the area and quite delicious; everyday was different. The access to her farm and the animals is a treat as well. If you love anything farm like or scenic, you'll love it here. The Holler room was just enough and the perfect spot to wake up to as you have a beautiful farm in front of you offering a gorgeous sunset in the evening. I'm actually looking forward to booking this again with Melinda!!! You won't be disappointed 😌

What a wonderful getaway from the busy city life. Cider House B&B is well situated between Staunton and Waynesboro. Plenty of things to do within a short drive. Breweries, antiquing and good dining. However, If you’re looking to unwind and spend some time with animal friends, or just take in a good book in their sitting room, I can’t recommend a better place. Melinda and John are wonderful hosts. Top notch B&B! Looking forward to our return trip.

Wonderful, comfortable B&B with a lovely and friendly innkeeper, Melinda. Delicious breakfast, locally sourced. Very convenient to Basic City Beer, Stable Craft, Barron Ridge, and so many others. We stayed in the Holler Room in a super comfy bed. Modern, updated bathroom in a 1790 home with all the charm. Definitely would stay again.

My husband and I stayed at the Cider House this past weekend. We enjoyed it immensely! Melinda is a wonderful hostess! She accommodated my food intolerances with the most delicious food! The house is beautiful, and our room, the Holler, was cozy with a comfy bed. We had fun strolling the property, saying hi to the alpacas, donkeys, and horses. I highly recommend the Cider House for a lovely getaway! Thanks, Melinda!

Cider House Bed and Breakfast was absolutely idyllic. We stayed in the Coyner Suite with a long outdoor balcony overlooking the farm. Gorgeous and relaxing place. Melinda, the innkeeper, was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and everything was perfectly in order at the house. Breakfasts were delicious and the animals on the property were sweet and adorable. We had a lovely time.

Just the most wonderful B&B you could hope to find. Beautiful old farm house (1790) with modern comforts and a host that will make you feel right at home. We loved walking around the property, the view of the mountains, and meeting the alpacas and donkeys. A delicious breakfast each morning served with good conversation. We loved every minute we were here.

The perfect stay for us! My significant other and I were travelling to Charlottesville for a wedding in Crozet. Instead of staying in the city, we found Cider House, and it exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 3 nights in the Coyner room, and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every breakfast Melinda took great care in preparing. We delighted in the different jams, syrups, and baked treats that we got to enjoy. We also asked for a picnic lunch - which was perfect for our long hike in Shenandoah National Park. Melinda was so kind in accommodating us, and you can tell she has a heart for farm animals and running the BnB. You do have to be mindful of keeping quiet in the hallways, out of consideration for your neighbors, but that's how most Bnbs are! We highly recommend staying here!

My boyfriend and I had a short but wonderful one night stay here! The room was spacious, had a modern and luxurious bathroom/shower, and we had a little private balcony off of our room. Melinda was friendly and attentive and breakfast was delicious. Not to mention taking a walk around their grounds to say hi to the alpacas and donkeys!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and loved it. Beautiful location and delicious food for breakfast. We especially enjoyed visiting with the alpacas and donkeys. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away!

The house is gorgeous, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The property is beautiful and spacious, with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, lovely gardens and a barn with three adorable alpacas (and now a fluffy little baby donkey!! -- huge plus). Oh and the cider is delicious. All of that makes for a highly relaxing stay. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Stayed at the Cider House Bed and Breakfast again- it’s my got to place to stay in the waynesboro area. Had a wonderful time. Ate well and enjoyed visiting the animals and the breathtaking views!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cider House! Melinda was extremely hospitable and kind, had the most beautiful breakfast spread for us every morning, and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back, highly recommend!

My sister and I just spent several days as guests at Cider House Bed and Breakfast. Our hostess Melinda welcomed us to her beautiful historic home and showed us to our graciously appointed rooms. She offered to introduce us to her wonderful menagerie of critters, donkeys, alpacas and cows. I felt like an 5 year old girl visiting my grandparents farm. Our first evening was spent on the veranda watching the fireflies and thunder and lightning.

Each morning breakfast was served at our chosen time. Every breakfast included fruit, pastries, an amazing entrée and coffee or tea of our choice. I am a tea drinker and was thrilled by the beautiful tea pots my tea was served in.

The common room is furnished with pieces appropriate to the time of the home. It is comfortable and welcoming.

The Cider House is central enough to visit Monticello, historic Staunton, Waynesboro and the surrounding countryside and return each evening to a lovely comfortable home.

Given the opportunity I will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely place!!!!!! Gorgeous scenery, really cool and beautifully-preserved historical house, sweet farm, very nice hospitality!!! The host is very accommodating too!!! She made a lovely breakfast that took my food allergies into consideration. The food was excellent. We highly recommend this place!!!!
