Union Market

Stopped in at 1 PM for lunch after a yoga class. Ordered the chicken Tarragon sandwich and it was delicious. Cool spot!

I honestly am literally eating my lunch right now! I couldn't wait to leave a review and I never really do this. It is just too good not too!

I got the Tuna Melt and the side of pimento cheese. Not only is the food unbelievably delicious...they give you so much! You can tell everything is quality made. It's also a super cute place, unfortunately I was just picking up. Service was quick and polite, wasn't waiting very long and they still acknowledged the wait. Just overall GREAT! I have been peeking at this place for while since it's right near work and I'm so glad I finally made the decision to have lunch here. Definitely worth it!! Might be a new go to spot on my list!

Union Market has become an extension of my living room. It is my go-to for every scenario from having a glass of wine and reading a book inside at the bar to meeting a group of friends for happy hour and dinner on the patio. I just got back from lunch and tried their gochujang chicken soup - best soup I've ever had!

I’ve been here several times. Half store with local goods, half restaurant with casual outdoor seating. I love their ice cream sandwiches, veggie burgers and Reuben sandwiches!

Amazing, a must stop esp if the sun is out. The booze list is great, so much outdoor seating. The can/bottle shop inside also worth mentioning, could be best in the city. The quality of ingredients here also top notch, not pictured the chicken salad sandwich, made with fried chicken skins...what...yes it was mind blowing!

Visiting from Atlanta. Loved the feel and food! I had the Apple spinach salad with chicken and it was fabulous. A great blend of flavors. Sweet and very healthy. Thank you!

I go here for lunch every so often. Food is consistently solid. I recommend the French Dip sandwich. Salads and soups are solid,
and draft selection is great. Service is good, too.

Street parking, but it’s never been an issue. Can usually find something within a block or two if not curbside.

My buddy lives around the corner and we just wanted to walk somewhere. He told me they just redid the inside and it shows. A nice little bar with a great selection of beer. The French Dip was amazing! The mustard and au jous was on point. They also have a great selection of coffee beans which I picked up. Highly recommend if you are in the area and was a bite to eat.

Really delightful atmosphere with awesome indoor and outdoor seating. Cool bar that has interesting draft selection (kombucha!!). There's a quaint little store inside if that's what you're into and the sandwiches are really delicious.

Friendly staff, food was amazing. Got the chicken tarragon sandwich which had one of the best sauces i’ve ever had on a sandwich. Au Jus for the french dip sandwich was awesome. Best lunch in Richmond.

Hands down my favorite neighborhood spot! The turkey panini is my go-to sandwich, but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Great vibe, friendly staff. Yes…it’s not super fast service, but most places don’t have enough workers so a little patience goes a long way. Either way, it’s worth the wait!

Delicious vegan and GF options. The vegan club is my favorite. Great outdoor seating with heaters.

We really enjoyed this place! I love the little market on the side and I love the outdoor seating! They have really great service and staff that are always willing to help. We had the California club sandwich and the cheese steak sandwich and both were exceptional. If this was in our neighborhood we would be there everyday! For now, what reserve it for every Friday. Top job guys!

Came here for a work lunch (had to try the Italian) and left amazed. From ownership to staff to the atmosphere. Five stars all across the board. Oh, and they throw an awesome block party once a year! Thanks UM!

I come here pretty often for both the cafe and market. I highly recommend union market if your around the area looking for a quick lunch. Their food is always fresh and yummy! The after work crowd is large if the weather is nice.

The market is great is you’re looking for a fun/unique brew or wine. I also buy their sodas and energy drinks often.

Fresh salads and sandwiches, craft beer on tap, option to uncork wine from the store for $5 with meal, and outdoor seating.

Great local market to shop with delicious freshly prepared food and a small bar to grab a drink from, while you wait.
