Oishi Sushi and Steakhouse

We chose sushi dinner instead of hibachi. Surprisingly, we were seated very quickly as walk-in at 6pm on Friday night. By the time we were leaving, the place was packed!
Sushi was delicious. Miso soup was done perfect. And can of Sapporo added flavor to our meal.
Service was a bit slow and needed few reminders.
But fried banana caramel ice cream made up for it.
Great find in Chesterfield airport!

Sushi excellence at its finest! Oishi never disappoints with its fresh, flavorful creations. The impeccable service and inviting atmosphere make it my go-to sushi spot. They also have hibachi but I highly recommend the sushi side!

A lovely 🍣 spot!! The rolls were delicious! We ordered miso soup yum! The lunch special 2 rolls, st Louis roll & tempura shrimp which were both much bigger than we expected. Then the daily special roll and the golden roll, which were both scrumptious and huge! Would definitely recommend this place. The waitress was so sweet she brought me a cupcake with a candle for my birthday! Felt super special. Thank you! ❤

We went for sushi and Oishi did not disappoint! The hibachi smelled amazing but we were looking for something light tonight. It was a very nice, intimate setting. Our waitress was very accommodating in answering our questions. The rolls we ordered to share came out so quickly as well as our spring rolls and crab rangoons. I highly recommend it if you're in the area or traveling through.

This place was so much fun! If you enjoy Hibachi style Japanese cuisine, I’d recommend this spot; fun for adults and adolescents alike…

Our chef was entertaining, and engaged w the kiddos which enhanced the experience not only for the children, but made it easier for the adults to enjoy the dining experience, too!

Needless to say, if we’re in town again and looking for a spot to eat Japanese Hibachi or sushi, I’d eat here, again!

Party of six ate here and I would highly recommend. Our cook was absolutely fantastic. He was very talented, very funny, and very engaging. We had a lot of fun. Sometimes it gets a little loud if all the grills are going at once. Had the zombie cocktail and absolutely loved it. The noodles were delicious and I really liked the fried rice.

We had a great meal for 10 people for a birthday party for our friend. All of our food was cooked well and tasted great. They were able to accommodate us to do a little bit of decoration for the party and lit the candles and brought out our cake at the end of the meal.

The Land & Sea roll and lobster sushi roll were very good. The crab ragoo and vegetable spring roll were very good. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Highly recommended will go next time I'm in St. Louis/St. Charles.

the chef was so nice and funny and he did a great job because the food was superb. he was very talented and did a good job at throwing food. definitely worth the price

Excellent food whether hibachi or sushi. We love the Golden Dragon roll, Lobster roll, scallop hand roll, and Wasabi shrimp. Wonderful service, selection, and presentation. Definitely a frequent favorite for a great dinner out.

This is my sons favorite sushi spot. We were seated right away and the staff was great. For the table, the Rainbow and Dynamite roll were very good. They some of the best fried rice and definitely recommend a side of it if you don’t get the dinner portion. The Oishi platter is the appetizer we get every time. You can’t go wrong with it if you can’t decide on a single app. The Katsu chicken was fantastic. Tender, moist, and the best light crunchy breading. My other son tried the Yaki Udon. He is not very adventurous but loved the dish. Great sushi restaurant all around.

Always love going here. Went woth family for a duo birthday dinner and had a great time. I always enjoy the food and upbeat atmosphere here.

I love this restaurant so much. The woman I talk to on the phone, Tati, was so helpful and kind. When I came in, everyone was so friendly and the service was great. I highly recommend. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the sushi and steak plate. It came with so much food and the sushi was the best I have ever had in St. Louis.

Went for lunch. I had the land and sea sushi, which is something I've never seen before. It was great.

Went here for a father/daughter sushi date. Food was fresh and delicious. Server made great recommendations and the fried ice cream was yummy!

My boyfriend and I came in without a reservation and only had a 20 minute wait. The service was fantastic, the food came out fast, and we love the atmosphere.
If you like lobster, you HAVE to try the lobster roll

Just what you expect in a Japaneese Steakhouse. Really good foor and service. In addition they have a separate sushi restaurant at the same location with great sushi. So we had teppanyaki and sushi. I was great.

Super nice chef, very VERY good food, everyone was awesome! Waitress even refunded me for the iced tea I didn't like.

Sushi bar is awesome. Carlos and Franky are always friendly and know a TON about real sushi and sashimi. We sit at the bar and always get an overview of what's new and the history behind it. The restaurant is busy and hibachi normally has a wait but we never go for that. We have been coming to the sushi bar for a couple of years and feel the quality of fish competes with top places all over. Recommend a sashimi platter and the golden dragon roll.

Sushi is one of the best in St. Louis. Hibachi is excellent. Steak, salmon and scallops are always good. Lots of sides included. We are regulars.
