This establishment went above and beyond all expectations. I chose this location for the igloos on the Outer deck, and the staff assisted me with my date night/proposal by specifically decorating our igloo with some of the stuff they had left over from Valentine’s Day, brought out two glasses of ginger ale with hibiscus flowers in them because we are alcohol free, and a special dessert all of which they did not charge us for. They also allowed me to have flowers delivered to the location the day before to help me out with the surprise I was planning for my fiancé the food was absolutely delicious from the appetizers, to the main course, to the dessert. The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful. We have made it our official yearly anniversary spot. Highly recommend!

We had brunch today and it’s absolutely INCREDIBLE! The omelette is next level delicious!!! Ali and Bri both helped us and were so amazing!!! We come for happy hour all the time which is also great! I would really love if they could get the Sierra Nevada Hazy IPA on draft, I would come to happy hour much more often if they got that on draft.

Came here for the first time and was not disappointed! Food was good. Ambience was nice that over looks James river that gave it a more calming vibe. joy was also out server and was very nice and attentive to us while we were there along with the rest of the staffs.

Weather was so nice! They had the windows open while we dined and the fresh breeze was so relaxing!! The Peel & eat shrimp were so good! Our server Kiana was amazing! Will definitely be back for their happy hour!

We came out to celebrate a birthday with family and friends and cannot brag enough about the service, food, and drinks. Incredible flavor, definitely recommend dropping what you're doing and coming here for happy hour drinks and dinner! And if you're lucky enough to have Mitchie as your server, then your drinks will never run out. She is on top of everything and tops it off with an incredible personality.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. A perfect day for sitting outside enjoying the river view. We got the three shrimp appetizer and the cobb salad with extra chicken. Definitely enough food for two people.

I had a great experience last night this restaurant is one of my me favorite places for a good dinner with my man. We had Talia as our server she did an amazing job. The food was great and the atmosphere was so calming. I will be back soon

Tonight we celebrated my beautiful daughter Faith. It was her 21st birthday. From the moment I entered this I knew it was going to be a good night. Germoni and Lajoi we're both very hospitable. They went above and beyond. Germoni asked me what my daughter liked so that she could put it on the card. Unbeknownst to her that my daughter loved SpongeBob. I told her that she loved pineapples and butterflies. Germoni took the time to make a personal card for my not only did she draw it she colored it and then gave it to me so I can give it to my daughter. Now that's what the best customer service I have ever had in any restaurant that I have reviewed. I do have over 5 million views of my reviews that I have done I am in the top 10% of Google reviewers. I want everyone to know that this might not be The boathouse like one other customer told on my way in. But this restaurant has its own style and flare. Each individual's personality suits the atmosphere of this establishment. I was even able to meet the manager and talked with her. I want to recommend the garlic shrimp and the grilled bok choy. My daughter had the shrimp tacos. One of the young ladies at the party had a cowboy Burger she was very happy with that and one of our girls got a Cobb salad and that was amazing. We got the calamari the crispy calamari that was really really good as well. The place was clean it was neat it was well-organized. And I definitely have to get props to the professionals who prepared our food. Thank you for making my daughter's 21st birthday one of the best ever. I am definitely going to recommend this restaurant whether you're just passing through or you live locally. This mama bear was very happy about her visit to this restaurant. Props to the management that was on duty that night. Thank you so much for the wonderful crew you had on board helping you out. And even brought my daughter a piece of pineapple upside down cake with a lit candle as we song Happy Birthday. Last night my fiancé and I experienced the heated igloo at Island Shrimp Co at Rockets landing for their Rum & Reindeer Holiday pop-up. We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, service, and food. Michi was our server and she was beyond amazing! The food was delicious and the drinks were on point. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great time out and thank you Michi for your exceptional service.

We were seated and we received water and then no one approached us. Blu was seating someone else and asked if we had been taken care or. She did a phenomenal job and made sure that we had a great experience. Thank you.

Alycen “aly” made my night she was very attentive and sweet throughout the night and made sure my order came out fast and hot. I didnt know how one’s service and smile could brighten a long work day ! Happy hour was amazing 🤩 Will come again soon maybe with some friends and reservation. My bartender - Kiana was amazing and had a recommendation waiting for me once again if you haven’t came for happy hour please do and bring the whole family atmosphere is amazing.

Love the food. Second time visiting in two days. I love spicy food and the Jamaican jerk shrimp was delicious! Taleigha is so friendly! (And it’s pet friendly)

Had a great time, Joy was a phenomenal waitress!!! Food was fresh, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful along the River! If you have time and you’re hungry, stop in and ask for Joy!!!

We had a great time here! Philip took great care of us and so did the manager. She allowed us to sit in the igloos and have a drink before the next reservation even though we didn’t book it. The service is 10/10, drinks are 10/10, the food is good and it’s such a cute place. And as an added bonus they play great Afro beat music! We will definitely be back!

The view at Rocketts Landing is perfect! The music was great! I'm an island girl, I love afrobeats. The drinks were pretty and strong, the coconut shrimp has real coconut sprinkled over them and the dipping sauce!!!! 👌🏾👌🏾 the fish tacos were great as well. Lastly but definitely not least, the staff!! Very attentive and friendly. The manager is a sweetheart as well. Love it here! 10 out of 10! Definitely recommend!

With the desire to dine beside the sun setting over the James came the discovery of a destination offering more than just a pretty view. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were exceptional. Yet, it was the vibe that truly made the experience such a delight for us.

It was hard to get a bite in with all of the boogying we were doing and had to check our phones a few times to make sure our Bluetooth hadn't accidentally paired with their speakers. They played that many of our favorites!

The missus ordered the Garlic Shrimp Aloha Pineapple Boat and complimented its palatability and presentation. I mean, who doesn't like eating their dinner out of a pineapple? However, she also felt the portion didn't quite match the price.

My Big Wave Fish and Chips on the other hand were worth every penny and better with every bite. Also, while I was bummed they were out of the Island Wings, the Crab Dip proved to be a worthy substitute, and I ended up enjoying the fried wontons instead of regular tortilla chips.

Stopped by for an app and a drink after the Boat parade, and set at the bar with no wait time. They were busy, but Blu was awesome! 👏 We got our drinks, had a quick crab dip to share, and we have a proof we were out of the house! Haha

Our server was extremely helpful and offered suggestions. The food we ordered was delicious and their island crush was an amazing drink. The manager and the assistant manager both checked in with us to see how we were doing. The option to make reservations very convenient.. Will definitely be back.
