Exceptional tasting food with friendly, caring service at a great value. Great vegan options. Be mindful of the spice level -- "slight" was perfect for me and my daughter, while "medium" was perfect for my husband but would have been unbearable for me when I took a bite of his dish.

Absolutely love, love, LOVE this place! My girlfriend and I's favorite place to eat in terms of Indian cuisine and restaurants in Lynchburg. Owners are so friendly and love to chat, always puts a smile on my face to see them! Food is extraordinary as well and very fairly priced, my favorite is the lamb curry and rice pudding! We sometimes drive over an hour to Lynchburg just to come here, haha. Best restaurant and 100% recommend!

What a great duo! We really enjoyed the food and the lovely couple who run the place. What’s more, the menu presents something quite unique, a choice between Mediterranean and Indian food, which both were wonderfully made! And the mango lhasi is incredible!

Amazing little spot for delicious food. The service is very hospitable. Sweet owner who is working hard managing everything. If anyone is looking for a part time JOB to help, I'm sure he would be most willing for help. This place is a wonderful place for all ages.

We love the Hot & Cold Cafe! The couple that owns the restaurant is so kind, made us delicious food, and let us try the mango pudding on the house! We will definitely be returning for great authentic Indian and Mediterranean food at a great price!

Excellent authentic Indian. He'll serve Americanized Indian as well. Very friendly service. Excellent food. I like the feel of the place with the tables up front near the window.
I had the Karahi Chicken which I've never had before and it was fantastic. Right level of heat/spice.

Still fantastic, still delicious, still 100% worth the visit, cost, and cold weather to get there. Pictured: rice pudding, mango ice cream (a must have!), eggplant hummus, and lamb rogangosh. So delicious, and the owners are wonderful believers. A great time!

The food was delicious and high-quality! The owners were kind and clearly took pride in their restaurant. They let us choose the spice level - mild, medium, or very spicy. I chose the mild and enjoyed rich flavor, with less heat. Next time I may try the medium!

Came here for wife’s birthday for the first of many future visits. Absolutely wonderful experience and very delicious meal….from the hummus appetizer to the one of a kind homemade vegan ice cream.

The food was amazing. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The customer service was some of the best I have had at any restaurant. I definitely recommend this place. The baklava was to die for!

Fabulous food and service!!
I ate lunch here today with a friend. We had the lunch buffet and loved it. The food was fresh and well prepared with just the right amount of spice and flavor.
The restaurant was extremely clean with an upbeat fun atmosphere. There is even a chalk wall to write and draw on. The server, Molly, was friendly and played tic tac toe on the chalk wall with some kids having lunch with their parents. The chef/owner was attentive and made sure we were pleased with the food and service.
I highly recommend this place. Best Fusion of Indian/Mediterranean cuisine in Lynchburg.

Whoa… been a regular for more than a decade, but always just got the buffet. I went ahead and ordered off the menu today and it was beyond fantastic! Uday is the real deal. Always so impressed with his food!

Really friendly owners! The food is great! Ordered chana masala and butter chicken and chai. Both were great! Had spicy chutney on the side (pictured). The owner chef Uday and his wife are some of the nicest people I've ever met! He made everything fresh including the chai cup by cup. Highly recommended!!!

One of the few places where the owner and chef brings your food out and tells you how it was made! Just such a joy to come here! Always wish I brought home more Baklava!

This is an amazing place. They serve Indian Mediterranean Fusion. I ordered a lamb gyro and dal soup. Medium spicy. He warned me it was going to still be spicy but it was perfect for me. I also ordered the baklava and it too was amazing. I ordered take out but day there while he made it all natural and amazing.

I've been around the area for 5 years now, and I gotta say this was one of the best meals I've had here. The gentleman that took our order, also cooked the food, he was very nice, I very much enjoyed him, but the real star is the food! WOW! Some of the best hummus and butter chicken I've had! Perfect spice level! I will ABSOLUTELY be back! So IMPRESSED!! Can't wait to try more of the menu!

This place was a blast. The server was fun, friendly, and just so sweet! The cook was also kind and friendly. The environment was fun. And the food was just delightful. Had the Chana masala and it was just delicious. As was the biryani. The baklava and the kulfi were the perfect finish! Can’t recommend this place enough for both environment, service, and food!

A totally unique, delicious spot to stop for lunch and tea. I came here with my grandma (non-vegan) and my sister (vegan.) There were tons of options for everyone, including vegan appetizers, wraps, salads, entrees, and desserts. Plus options for meat lovers too. The service was very friendly, and the food tasted home cooked! Very delicious medditerean/Indian fusion restaurant. You will not regret trying this place!
