The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is the best liquor store in the area as far as great service and great employees.

In and out quickly. Had the hipster tequila my friend likes. Staff was friendly. . . . How do you complain about a liquor store? I mean, you give them money and they help you forget the world can be a b!*$#. That's how the transaction works. 🤷‍♂

Quick in. Quick out. With all that's going on these days I'm really glad that the ABC store at least doesn't waver on their store policy on wearing a mask. You MUST be wearing one to go in. No exceptions! I watched a man come in in front of me without one, and when they told him he would have to leave and come back with a mask, he tried to just pull his shirt up over his nose and mouth... 🙄 Nah, brah... He didn't get past the threshold. Of course by the time I was coming out he had "maraculously" found one and was on his way back in. I have full respect for a store that makes rules and holds to them.

After having bought one item I found another more preferable and wanted to exchange them. It was Friday evening and they were extremely busy but the manager and salesperson were very patient and helpful.

I love the staff at this store! They are always happy and personable. Even though there are other ABC stores along my route to and from work, I find myself driving out of the way just to buy liquor here.

I'm not a huge drinker, but I do like some occasional coconut rum and pineapple juice, vodka and orange juice etc. So, I'm basically a nooby at purchasing liquor and making 'girly' mixed drinks.
It's in old town Lynchburg, where the roads are narrow, and a lot of buildings are run down - so it was hard to find (no thanks to my GPS!). Once I found it, they had a big parking lot, and people outside, so I felt safe.
When I went in, I had no idea what I wanted, kind of tired of the juice ideas - then I thought, hey.... "Can you guys help me make an AWESOME mudslide?" The entire store was involved with helping me, and giving me tips on how they make theirs.
MUDSLIDE RECIPE: Purchase the pre-combined mudslide mix (pretty low in Proof), so to pep it up some, they advised me to purchase a bottle of double chocolate chip vodka (80 Proof) and a few other topper tips, like a squirt of chocolate syrup or whipped cream etc.... OMG! YUMMMMMY!!

Thanks you guys for helping me out a few weeks ago. Very friendly and helpful. (Maybe 1 drawback, because this store is located in the city of Lynchburg, not Amherst county, I believe the local tax rate is a bit higher).
