We were here just for dining. So, i cant speak to the hotel experience. But, none the less was blown away by the overwhelming architecture of this amazing building. I couldn't stop staring at all the little nuances and detail. We sat at the bar before are reservation. And enjoyed the most delicious smoked peanuts, and seasoned goldfish crackers. So much so that we had to ask for a second round. I find that when your menu uses words that I can't pronounce, or have never used. The food is going to be delicious. And we were not let down. Every bite was amazing. And didnt want it to end. Portions were mid level. But the flavor of every dish was above and beyond. Pricing was about. 3.5 out if 5. Expect to spend a few hundred. Easily. But, you get what you paid for. The service was excellent. Very attentive to the table needs and kind and courteous. Will definitely be eating here many times again.

Went for the Sunday Champagne Brunch. For those who don't know for special holidays you need to book 6 months in advance.

Buffet was great as usual. New items added my wife enjoyed her early Valentines present.

Definitely worth the trip. I have friends who have stayed in the rooms and for other meals and enjoyed the experience.

We attended the JFRG Gala on Saturday evening at the posh and beautiful Jefferson Hotel. The service was great, the food was flavorful and the rooms were outstanding. This is not my first time here but I had to write a review. If you're in the Richmond area you MUST stay at the Jefferson Hotel. And don't forget to book a reservation for brunch on Sunday. You won't be disappointed!!!

My niece took my two sisters and me for tea for our birthdays. We had never been, but she had. We loved the little sandwiches and wraps, scones, cakes, chocolate covered strawberries and more. They gave us each a slice of cheesecake for our birthday...dream cicle! Yum! We had 6 different trash to choose from. We loved the ones we choose. The server, I am bad with names, Sierra, I think, was very attentive, explained everything well, took pics for us,and made sure we boxed up all of the goodies we didn't have room to eat. We got more goodies in the little gift shop before we left. I look forward to doing it again!

We were invited to a birthday tea. The food, service, and environment, seated above the rotunda, were exceptional. Thank you to William for personally educating us on the history of the building and so patiently answering our questions.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Jefferson Hotel. Rooms were great and the property has everything you could possibly need. Rachel at concierge was great with helping me find a last minute dinner reservation at a local restaurant and had some good tips on sights to see in town. Overall a wonderful experience.

Such a lovely hotel filled with historic charm. The rooms are very large with oversized bathrooms. The in-room touches do a good job of conveying the "luxury experience" including plenty of free bottled water and Nespresso coffee pods, plush fluffy linens, comfy bathrobes, complimentary postcards with artwork of the hotel, and nightly turndown service. If you're in search of a luxurious experience in Richmond, The Jefferson is the best option without a doubt.

Great 1/3 point from Bucks County PA to S Florida. Stopped here with family and out dog for a night while driving down to Florida. Food was very good. The atmosphere channels Great Gatsby. Everything is ornate but not old. The rooms are bigger than my first NYC apt! Marble and glass bathrooms and black make up towels which you can also buy in the gift shop first floor. Parking is in a lot across a small street. It is secure but I still wouldn’t leave anything in plain sight.

Finally made it to The Jefferson for Sunday brunch and it was delicious. Breakfast side favorites: potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, and I loved my made to order blueberry pancake. Lunch side favorites: the ribeye (well done piece) was so tender and flavorful and I enjoyed the potato and leek soup. Dessert favorites were the carrot cake and red velvet cake; making them mini was the perfect idea!

Our sever Jaden described the different stations for us and recommended his favorite dishes. He checked in on us periodically and kept the champagne coming and I so so appreciate him taking pictures for us.

The perfect hotel for a wedding party block! Martha and Jennifer made the entire group booking process incredible easy. The Jefferson service, cleanliness, restaurants, and rooms are unparalleled. Special shoutout to Kyle at front desk - he is the definition of luxury service! We loved working with him and appreciated his knowledge of the hotel and product. And special shoutout to the salon nail team!! They made our wedding salon appointment so enjoyable and special. All of our guests loved staying here during our wedding weekend and appreciated the rooms immensely!

Holy moly!!! We went for the Santa tea yesterday, and it was nothing short of magical. I felt like I was in the Plaza in NYC. It was SO FANCY! Valet parking made me feel so fancy. Then you walk inside and it is literally breathtaking. Every inch of the place was decorated with the most beautiful holiday decor. Pictures and words don't do it justice. The huge gingerbread house was incredible. The service was wonderful. The food we had was great. But even more than that, the magic of seeing my daughter get to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus can't be beat. I will never forget the memories made there, and I hope to be able to make this a tradition for our family. Job well done, Jefferson staff!

This is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen. Especially at Christmas. Christmas Eve, late at night, it is so quiet and you can look at everything and take your time it's so enchanting, breathtaking, and serene. The Concierge are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful they are definitely a credit to the hotel.

Authentic historic old word hotel that maintains its high quality standards throughout. The best in Richmond by far. Large rooms, spacious corridors, cavernous reception area and open atrium, filled with period details that have been meticulously restored and maintained. 5 star staff checks all the boxes. A real pleasure, a treat and this hotel puts so many others to shame.

We had an excellent time staying here. We were in town for our corporate holiday party which was hosted at the hotel. The room service was exceptional, the rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Their was no detail missed in our customer service during our stay, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us in ways we did not even know we would enjoy! It was really an awesome experience all around I would absolutely go back and stay again!

We met our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter for the Mothers Day Brunch today at the Jefferson. We felt pampered by the excellent servers and more than satisfied with the fine cuisine.
