Corner shop with basic staples like bottled water, snacks, wine, beer & some perishables. Lunch items (more like pre-packaged Chinese) is on your left as you enter the store. Overall clean. Pricewise it is OK (DC here).
If you're staying in Marriott or Hilton - it's less than 10 minutes walk.

Friendly owners. My boyfriend was looking for a certain type of cord one day and the man gave him one of his own because he had an extra.

I also LOVE how responsive they are when you message them on Google. I was too lazy on a freezing Saturday morning to walk the 1.5 blocks to check if they had half and half, so I messaged them and got a response in just a couple minutes. They were out of stock, but sent me a couple other options. Great service!!

Omar, the owner is a great guy. Always look forward to chatting with him for a few minutes when picking up wine or last minute recipe ingredients. They have a good selection.

Omar is very customer friendly but has little time for b/s. I love the fresh fruit and salad options served daily; and appreciate the food prep areas being kept sanitary!

This is a family business and when I walk in they always address you and then proceed to have my brand of cigarettes waiting for me on the counter. If there is something you want and it is not on the shelf they will take the time to check in the store room to see if they might have it . Not many stores care enough to go that extra mile!

Broadway is the spot for literally anything you need. Drinks, snacks, sauces, spices, dish detergent, seriously anything. Omar is a fantastic owner and always makes me feel welcomed in the store. If you live anywhere near, this is where you need to go!
