Super 8 by Wyndham Norton VA

Great place to stay at. However I didn't feel I was welcomed here, most of the staff members were friendly and helpful. I felt the manager though was distant and not accommodating. I had a feeling it was that case because I was Asian. Overall good, delicious complimentary coffee and muffins.

Easy to get to location, great rates, and clean rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly. It's not a five star hotel, but it doesn't cost as much as one either. I highly recommend them as a place to stay when traveling on a budget with your pets

Room was clean, service was wonderful, location was convenient, & you can't beat the price. If you're just looking for a clean room to sleep & shower, I highly recommend.

Me and my husband had to stay here for a night due to a last minute trip to VA that we had to make and the lady at the front desk was so helpful and nice. She even was able to get my husband a discount due to him being a truck driver. The room was very clean and the beds were amazingly soft compared to places that we have stayed before. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a place to rest your head while out on the road.

The rooms are nice and recently renovated. The rooms are smoke-free, which is a plus. Service is great, and the employees are friendly. There's wifi and a breakfast lounge. Water pressure was a little lacking, but this could be room-specific. The beds, however, were hard. If that's your thing, great; otherwise, it might be a tough night. Overall, the stay is pleasant, and would recommend / book again (and have).

Very clean!! One of the nicest Super 8s we’ve stayed at. The 2nd shift desk clerk (Hilary) made all the difference!! She was so kind, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. After her shift ended we saw her walking to her car and she stopped to speak again, showed us the best way to access our room, and even offered some things to do in our down time here. If back in this area we will definitely stay here again!!

Staff...Excellent, both team members were helpful every which way. From rags to clean my vehicle to giving directions or chit chatting. Room is clean, not one complaint. I stay in rooms almost everyday.
Breakfast, ...basic continental breakfast, clean room. Safe area, 100% no complaints here.

Friendly Staff, and Clean Rooms Could Use a little more room in the parking lot, But overall not too bad. Washer and Dryer are available for guests to use, prices are reasonable. WiFi is fast and Reliable. Plenty of Hot water available when showering or using the sink as well.

Check in was great with Hillary, and the room was so clean and comfortable! Breakfast was awesome and the entire experience was "super" from start to finish! Nicest super 8 I've ever stayed in! Thanks!!!

Front desk reception is exceptional at this facility. Room was very clean and had everything we needed, fridge,microwave, comfy bed and pillows. TV worked and lots of good movie choices. Many options for food in nearby Norton, Hardee’s right next-door. Breakfast was average, addition of hard boiled eggs would’ve made it perfect. Highly recommend this motel!

Very warm and welcoming the staff at the desk were very accommodating and pleasant. I will be staying here on future visits can't imagine a nicer place. Room was very clean and spacious. Price was great!

Awesome little place! Pet friendly without an outrageous pet fee!! AND the pride themselves in having mattress and pillow protectors, the kind that zip up! A++ in my book! No bed bugs here!! YAY!! Rooms are clean, and it always smells fresh! I have had the pleasure of staying here a few times over this summer between traveling from SC to OH, to tend to my Fathers Grave in Mayking, Ky, I would rather drive a few more miles than to stay anywhere else near Mayking. Following a bad experience in Whitesburg Ky. This place is great place to stop and sleep, Its a 2 story place with no elevator so if you have any type of physical disability be sure to ask for a ground level room. Breakfast is just enough, always hot coffee in the lobby and hot water for Tea, or hot cocoa packets with sugar, and creamer set out for guests.The staff here are the absolute best. In my experience, they are all eager to help and do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible, let it be extra pillows, towels or shampoo. Hillary, Anthony and Merlin (sp) are all amazing people here, and that's just naming a few. I do plan to stay here again when I travel, and I would recommend calling them directly to get the best rates and discounts that aren't offered on any of the online booking sites. This is in a good location, I just really like it. Not luxury, but rooms are clean, nice people and price is good.

Everytime I'm on their side of town I always stay at this location honestly it's the best that have found the other hotels are dirty or have bed bugs.. the staff is extremely pleasant and always so helpful! I honestly love staying here! Everytime I come they remember me! I love the staff that's what honestly makes this super 8 so great! Blessings to them! Thank you

Very clean rooms. Amazing staff. Also very close to a lot of major roadways to get around the nearby states and cities. Right next to a nightclub and about 10 to 15 minutes away from a bowling alley.

Location is just by the highway. Nice view of mountains from the hotel. Recently renovated hotel rooms are modern and clean. Hotel employees are cordial and well mannered. Breakfast is good.
