Maria's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

This place is such an awesome lil jem! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The dough and bread they use is fresh and soft. The food has a great taste. My only complaint is the sauce. It is a sweet sauce but you can use a little red pepper and parmesan to amp it up. I will definitely be back.

We stopped here on a road trip and had a wonderful meal. We arrived close to their closing time and were welcomed warmly. The Sicilian pasta and the carbonara were delicious. If we ever pass through again, we'll definitely stop here?

We got takeout from Maria's for dinner, and it was great! The food was ready even though we got there early, and $8 for a pizza is an amazing bargain considering how good it is. The Caprese panini and shrimp scampi are also very good! Will definitely be coming here again

After a very long drive it was a welcoming place ,with good food. Everything was very tasty. My family ordered 2 types of pizza and 3 pasta dishes. We will come back our next trip to the Staunton area.

Maria’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant have the best Italian food locally. The spaghetti, subs, and pizzas are all good along with some tasty appetizers. They have indoor/outdoor seating as well as a drive through for pre-ordered food. The service is quick and friendly. I’m a repeat customer for sure.

Great place for pizza and more! Friendly staff, made me a couple pies about 30 mins before they closed for the day. Service was fast, friendly and the pizza was delicious!

We are here on vacation and we were surprised to find this restaurant that makes authentic Italian food. We tried their pizza and it was delicious. Their pizza dough is superb! I highly recommend this place!

Not too pricey

I never bother to leave reviews, if I like the place I like it, I’d I don’t I don’t. The bite(s) I had of my girlfriend’s penne alla vodka was immaculate; quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. My pizza steak wasn’t as packed with meats as I would’ve preferred but the flavor was simply incredible.

Our absolute favorite Italian restaurant. The staff is always nice. Nice atmosphere. Clean. The food is always delicious.

Couldn’t have been better in terms of value, speed and service. Friendly and quick seating. Incredible pizza knots. Great crust on a good pizza. Italian seasoned chargrilled chicken with Broccoli was way better than I’d expected. Just over $30 for 3 of us (me and 2 teens).

Stopped here coming back from South Carolina and the food was great. Living in NJ there are a lot of Italian restaurants around and this one surpasses many of them. Thanked the owner for a delicious meal. Very humble gentleman. Will be stopping again for sure when going back down.

Have eaten here a bunch and never have I had a bad bite. Recommended to a bunch of customers and have never heard a bad word. Love, Love, Love!!

Highly recommend Maria’s fir any reason, but particularly when needing to feed a large group with pizza. We’ve purchased 20+ pizzas at a time and they’re always perfect. Luca is great to work with and so is the staff whenever we pick up our orders. 5 stars!

Good food. Good service. Large variety of choices on menu. We got solo pizza and a chicken fettuccini dish. Both good.

Even if the food ended up being not so good, which was far from the case. The motto that introduces you to the buisness from the front cover of the menu, in a very modest way. It severely understates the excellent service provided by a waitstaff, and back room staff that go very far beyond expectancies of a family style resturant.
