A beautiful building, a welcoming atmosphere, clean and accommodating restrooms, friendly staff, lots of activities and TREASURES BEYOND COMPARE in the pages of the books.

It was a chamber music concert. Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia. Our Pictures. New composition of five separate pieces woven together. Fresh, engaging, kaleidoscopic, thrilling, touching. Kudos to all the composers; kudos to the wizard who wove them together; bravissimis to the courageous and sensitive musicians.

Excellent place for so many reasons. The help you get, the events they allow to happen there as well as their facilities.

I went here to print a few documents, the staff on the second floor was very helpful and made the whole process much easier. I will definitely be back!

Support public libraries. Full stop. I'm an inpatient psychiatric nurse bearing the absolute brunt of the modern mental health crisis and I'm telling you right now that public libraries are the answer. They're more than books. They're public internet access for people to fill out job applications. They're somewhere safe and positive to meet and be for people of all ages. In my last city they hosted mental health and substance abuse support groups. Fund public libraries y'all. They're the answer and I'm not even slightly exaggerating.

I like this library as an alternative to go get work done. Booking a study room is easy to do and there is always one available for when I go. Has worked great for my conference calls.

Really nice and quite there! Needed to catch up with some of my readings. The place has changed dramatically, "more cybertech" than from years ago!

Lots of books and really quiet with a great atmosphere to calm down and study or read books. Great air conditioning. Staffs are very helpful. Restrooms require borrowing keys so are very safe. Great library.

The staff is wonderful. The building, albeit a little dog-eared, is accessible and charming. The library's central location in downtown Richmond is a fine anchor to the slow but burgeoning renaissance that Richmond's financial district is experiencing. Lots of books to enjoy for the price of walking through the front door.

Such a nice and big library! The staff were so kind and helpful and it felt super safe - tons of police officers and a medal detector.

So much space, so many books. This is a quiet place to study, write, read, or watch videos with the free WiFi (with earplugs 😉). It is close to many restaurants and other things to do in downtown Richmond once you’re finished reading! There are many public events here such as documentary screenings, meetings, TEDxRVA, and more!
