Food Lion

It was busy with people getting things they forgot for Thanksgiving dinner . But plenty of help around the store ! Great job!!

Food Lion in Farmville, VA, recently was very helpful in our Food Drive coordinated by the South Central Association of Realtors. I'm very grateful for the $25 store gift card offered by management to contribute towards my total Food Drive purchase of $132.78 on 3/10/21. The additional canned and dry goods are helping local charities in need, and more members of our community who need food are receiving a boost. Thanks to Food Lion for this contribution!

Love this store. Produce is awesome. So many different types of food that you can't get in other stores. Wish it was closer. The sales are unbeatable!

Everything is well stocked and easily accessible. The associates are extremely friendly and helpful. I rode in the motorized cart and as soon as I pulled up to the register the cashier greeted me asked if I found everything and started ringing up my items while another associate helped me take my things out of the basket and put it on the belt. This is the friendliest and most helpful Food Lion I have been to I will return again.

What a fantastic grocery store. It's not the largest in size but the selections are good. It's a great hometown style grocery store and very clean, with plenty of parking.

Nice place to shop and not crowded unless it's a holiday. Will give rainchecks if out. Also they have curbside pickup. Produce was good Especially the watermelon 🍉 and sweet.

Always do my grocery shopping there. Meats are better than Walmart, even though, I shop at Walmart a lot, some items are cheaper than Food Lion. Always good to have options. Love both places.

Food Lion here in Farmville VA has been excellent before & since the pandemic. Wonderful selection of organic options for everything & nice price! Service, employee moral & attitudes are top notch. Our community has gone the extra mile to be kind & courteous to one another ❤ Love shopping there!

I love this place. The staff is very warm and eager to help. Everyone will chat as if lifelong friends reconnected. The shelves r usually stocked well and it's very clean.

Always great selection and good prices. Love they finally offer self checkout!

Nice to see a clean and orderly store and it was really nice during this virus that they did all that they could do for their customers if there wasn't something on the Shelf they would always look in the back to see if it was available they were always apologetic the managers for items that you couldn't find and they are courteous and they are always available to help, unlike other stores. I do enjoy going into the store

Great customer service. The store is kept clean and the management does a great job of monitoring inventory and check-out. Produce is fresher than Wal-Mart and with the constant specials, they do a very good job of competing with them for price

The Food Lion in Farmville always has great customer service and friendly staff. Plenty of lines open which makes getting in and out do able. They have added order and pickup, which is a huge bonus.

I thought we had kind and helpful food lion employees in Portsmouth, "which we do"... But farmville food lion has beautiful people working for them too... This young cash register from powahtan was SOOO sweet, I bought a propane tank, she looked around and couldn't find anyone to get it for me after I paid for it, so she temporally closed her line and got it for me in a flash, and then went back to her register... This may seem small but it was the first of the month, and the store was FULL... And she was so willing to take care of me 1st, she had engaging conversation, she kept telling me that it was no problem... Man, I felt really special and valued..... Good people, good store

I like the store. A big and fresh choice of greens and vegetables. Friendly and helpful stuff. The store is exceptionally clean. Deli food is delicious and quite health. Comfortable parking. Prices are medium.

Pretty good deals with the MVP card especially on drinks when buying them in bulk Pepsi products and the Coke products. I go here for my meats mostly due to the fact they're always some kind of sales and its fresh meats everytime I go shopping here. Cashiers are always friendly and usually very helpful if you can't find something. Great place to shop for groceries and you can also buy other products from here as well like lottery, cigarettes, on shelf medication and some household products for cleaning and health care products.

Found everything I was looking for and finished my progress on another shop and earn bonus. I love this program and so far have finished 3 bonuses for a total of 14 dollars off in coupons, just for buying things I need.
