Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Stopped in on the way home for lunch; that ultimate burger they have is the bomb!! The Wilbur beans and the fried mac and cheese are just as awesome! The staff was very friendly and attentive as well. Definitely my go to stop on the way up or back home!!

We showed up later, so the ribs weren't as fresh as usual, but still delicious! It wasn't busy, so staff got to be super attentive and swift. They were also incredibly friendly. Food was hot and yummy, and we could hear kitchen staff jamming out while they cooked. It makes the dining experience better to know the staff is having a good time. Great job Famous Dave's, Janesville!

Had to be some of the best ribs that I have had there. But missed the Bluegrass music. What ever happens to them Thank-You for the years of being here in Janesville.

Famous Dave’s catered our daughter’s rehearsal dinner. The dinner was hosted in our backyard. From the initial inquiry regarding catering to the delivery, the catering staff was top notch! The delivery was made in a punctual manner, the food was outstanding, and everything necessary to host an outdoor BBQ was included! In addition, the servings were very generous. Thanks, Famous Dave’s, for helping us make memories! ❤

I had the taste for some bbq so i stopped by Famous Dave. Dominique the hostess was great. She deserves a raise frfr. The food was very good. I ordered St. Louis ribs and brisket both were very tender and juicy.

Take the brisket- it was amazing! And the beans too! The ribs were very dry and felt like they were kinda old so not recommending them! The servers were nice too taking into consideration our 1 year old made a mess

The St. Louis style was a bit sweet for me, but overall the ribs were tender and still tasty. The chicken was also great! This might be my go-to restaurant when I am tired of cooking

I've been in Wisconsin almost a year and have done many reviews but this place Famous Dave's @ the Janesville location. Was the tastiest mouthful I have encountered so far.. We enjoyed service, waitress and especially the Food and cocktails. I will be returning most definitely😋

AMAZING! Smiles from the first greeter to the last, clean even in the bathroom, the food is amazing!
I had given up on FD's back in Minnesota after several bad experiences. This location redeemed FD's for me.
The ribs were done just right, as was the chicken, burgers and bread putting!

The bar tender and i believe she was also the manager was awesome today. Hostess and the other employees were great to talk to as well. Food was good also and had a great time. But your roads in Janseville suck lol. Not your fault. Thanks

we had a loaded baked potato with brisket on top and Wilbur beans , it was wonderful. The service was fine except I kind of had to hunt her down for the check.

Great food and atmosphere! We have been coming here for years and will continue to! Our kids love it and often pick it when we are deciding where to go out to eat.
There are often leftovers because you get so much food. The corn muffins are amazing and must have! The ribs, brisket and pulled chicken are also favorites for our family.

We had the feast for two. So delicious and lots of leftovers. Shout out to our awesome waiter Ethan. He was extremely efficient and nice.

Probably some of the better famous Dave's I've ever had. Everything came out hot, and the staff were very attentive to our needs

The food was amazing! Especially loved the burnt ends! I want to let the manager know how sweet Alana was. She took our order and I was so impressed with her kindness, patience with us and her great attitude! We own a small business and we know that employees like her are rare treasures! The people that went to the counter after us were very rude to her but she didn't let it rattle her! She was professional and kind to them in spite of their rudeness. Thank you Alana! Hope to see you again next time we visit!!!

Food was awesome! I had the St. Louis spare ribs and the sliced beef brisket. Presentation was good and the food was seasoned well.

We had lunch with their lunch specials. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and stacked nicely. The two meat plate had one side and cornbread muffin . Both coleslaw and bbq beans were above average in serving size and taste. Service was fast and overall a very good value.
