I've been going to Rick for almost 20 years now. Knows tax laws in and out and I've never had a problem. In fairness, his office policy is to collect a portion of fees upfront and balance upon completion and review of final return. He's worth every penny.

I've come here for my taxes since my husband and I married in 2014. It's by far worth the extra money we pay to have them go through everything and make sure we get what is owed. Sophia is always our preparer and Rick, the owner, always checks it over.

Its a simple office with friendly staff and efficient service. They are quick to point out areas that can help and hurt you throughout the appointment and are up front about what to expect when claiming. After filing, they mail out toot copy if you can't make it back in to pick it up. You might end up paying more to come here, but you'll get more back regardless! They are great!

RUN! It honestly has been the worse tax experience ever. I moved from NY and figured I should have a CPA who practices in Florida.

They gave me an appointment for 4/9 and assured me taxes would be files on time. After a 2.5 hr meeting with Rick which consisted of 2 hrs or story telling (still ok, I have respect for elder ppl). I provided Rick with my checking account information so the IRS could deduct payment due.

I called several times and dealt with there assistant (whom is VERY RUDE) to ask on update with my taxes as I had not been deducted. Each time she mentioned an extension had been files and assured me since they had my information I was ok.

I ended up receiving a letter from the IRS charging me for late filing and interest. I went to the office where they tried to tell me again there male model IRS story.

They provided me “proof” they mailed the extension by showing me a stamp dated 3/31. They didn’t even know my ss# then to file. How???

I spent 2.5 hrs waiting and speaking with the IRS. They never received the extension. And I know my payment was late.

Today I called and Trudy admitted it was an error but they did not provide resolution for penalty or there $500 charge for a simple tax return. Which by the way she called me after I paid to charge me more!!! I know this happened to a few ppl as the back office does not speak to the front.

I do not think Rick should be practicing. He does not have the correct support staff for a man his age who can no longer do it all.

They are not honest or man up to their mistakes.

This guy office lost our documents found them in another clients file, submitted our paperwork for business late, then called us and told us we missed the deadline for personal because we did not send the paperwork on time I had to then forward the email proving we sent it 2 weeks early. He charges a fortune and doesn't tell you how much hes charging up front. Go somewhere else THIS WAS A GIANT HEADACHE!
