VCA Hillsboro Animal Hospital

I cannot express enough how amazing the doctors and staff at this VCA are. We have been loyal patients for almost 4 years now and every single encounter is an absolute pleasure. Dr. Beck is our primary vet and INCREDIBLE and when she is not available she ensures which ever doctor sees us not only treats us with the utmost amount of care but knows us like we have been seeing them from the beginning! I tell everyone to come to the VCA!!!! Keep up the absolutely stellar service and care!

The whole team here is wonderful. It’s never easy to say goodbye to a loved furry friend, but they make it as comfortable as possible here. I appreciate the support and kindness that was shown to me from everyone here. Thank you all for making a terrible experience a little more tolerable. Shout out to Jan for working with me and my schedule, and getting me in asap, much appreciated.

Today we brought our elderly cat, Bailey in to this practice, and were truly blown away. Bailey has been having health issues, and we didn’t know what to expect when we brought him in. Elissa, our vet tech, went above and beyond listening to us, answering our questions, and being so sweet and gentle with our kitty. Dr. French made us feel so much better about Bailey’s health; she was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly explained all of our options and walked us through our cat’s treatment plan. We left feeling relieved and like we had a solid plan to get Bailey feeling better. Also, we were shown pricing for everything that Dr. French recommended for Bailey before they proceeded with anything. We had the opportunity to ask questions and pick and choose what services we wanted for our cat which we really appreciated. I’m grateful we found a vet we trust and feel comfortable with as we have 2 other pets at home. Also it was very cute to see our cat’s name up on the wall in reception when we walked in, along with all of the other pets that had an appointment the same day (see photo). I took my dog Churchill to Hillsboro Animal Hospital yesterday for a grooming. I have never seen such professional service from the front desk through the entire facility. Billy groomed Churchill so perfectly. He has never looked better. Not only am I using Billy and his excellent service but the hospital also got a patient for life. What a great facility and terrific crew. I couldn’t be happier. They also gave Churchill a complimentary wellness check. I’m so impressed.

We brought our newly adopted dog Samson to VCA Hillsboro Animal Hospital yesterday and we were seen by Elizabeth, the vet technician and then Dr. Sarah Gordon. Both were informative, and took good care of our Samson during his check up and vaccines.

Bella & Diesel had their first appointment at VCA Hillsboro last night and I can't say enough about this place. The entire staff was so loving, patient & helpful. Less than 24 hours after their appointment, Dr. Pisano reached out to me to see how they were doing and to give me their blood work results. Veterinary Assistant Kim Kuzemchak called me first thing this morning to follow up with microchip info I needed. I am so glad I transferred my babies here.

My wife and I have been bringing our 3 year old chihuahua-mix to this practice for quite some time; we've never had a negative experience and always leave this facility in a good mood. Our dog struggles with anxiety and tends to be a bit dramatic when she's upset - the staff is patient with our pup, yet efficient in treating her as painlessly as possible (for all parties involved).

Shoutout to Kristi, the best vet technician out there! Our pup absolutely adores this woman, and she (the dog) generally doesn't trust unfamiliar people, ever. Also, Dr. Pisano is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. My wife always has a ridiculous number of questions she could answer with a Google search, but Dr. Pisano is always personable and answers thoroughly. The staff always reviews the cost of everything before proceeding with treatment, so we are never surprised when we get to the register. They have always been honest with us, even if that means a lesser profit for the clinic.

We'd enthusiastically recommend this practice to anybody who is looking for honest quality care for their pets!

If I could give this VCA hospital 20 stars I would in seconds! From the front desk to the Doctors and in between every single employee I have ever talked to has been absolutely AMAZING!!!! Super friendly, knowledge and most importantly they care about the pets that come in the building!!! My dog had a bladder stone removed today and I know my dog was in the best hands!!! Thank you to the whole staff for being AMAZING and caring about the pets the way they do!!!

My familar, Roo was attacked by a pitbull out of the blue he grabbed her and shook her. I was sure she was going to die. I beat him off her. She was bleeding but only a little. I called VCA Hillsboro and they said come. We went and took Roo gently from me and cared for her.

Flushing her punctures I was told she was a lucky girl. We are home she's very uncomfortable but she's doing well.

I am grateful to have been seen so promptly and with such compassion.

First called, then visited the following day this VCA location re: prescription wet food for my cat Max. (He hasn't been a patient here for a while because we moved from the area.) Needless to say, getting what I needed for Max was a tad bit of a headache. BUT I understand ... there is a protocol for prescriptions when it comes to our fur babies. After review of Max's medical paperwork and hearing me out, I got what I needed. With my MANY thanks to both Jenny and Michelle ... for their kindness and professionalism!!! This VCA location is always busy, so I appreciated their time to listen. (On a side note, this facility is really nice, always clean and the staff is great. MORE IMPORTANTLY, they treated Max like he was their own.)

The technician named Elizabeth was so thorough, thoughtful and kind. I appreciated the way she explained everything to me, and my dog loved her too, great vibessss. The counter lady Robin was very thorough as well. The facility is alwayssss so clean and they aren't pushy with sale's. Dr French is thorough and great with animals as well...My dog was never stressed with them in the room.

I had an amazing experience with this vet. I called right before close to book a next day appointment for my cat named Tigger who suddenly developed a swollen chin. In a matter of minutes the doctor was able to identify what was wrong and take care of the situation. All of the workers were extremely nice and they were acting as if Tigger was their own pet; as a plus I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Before and after (2 hours after visit). But to beyond my belief I received a text this morning from the doctor asking how he was doing. Will continue to return to this place and recommend it to all of my animal lover friends!

I have three dogs and Dr. French takes such great care of all of them ! The care club is awesome as well and highly recommend if you have more than one dog :)

Great experience with VCA Hillsboro when my cat Elton knocked out one of his teeth. From Jenny at the front desk, to the vet assistants Kristi and Sarah, and Dr. Beck, I never felt pressured to do any expensive treatment and felt like I was in good hands. Everything was explained and they were great with following up. Would not hesitate to bring any pet here in the future. Keep up the great work!

Very professional but friendly staff. They answer the call without putting you on hold. Get you in either that day or within a few days. And they usually give you a little gift. I highly recommend any VCA but this one is better than my last one and I loved them!

This is an amazing hospital! All the staff members are super friendly and the doctors are so knowledgeable!! I know all my pets are taken care of no matter what we bring them in for. Best hospital around!!!

We have been going to VCA Hillsboro for many years. Their system is very efficient for making appointments, and their service normally begins on time at the scheduled appointment time. We request Dr. Beck for our dog's checkups, but we are pleased with all the doctors and staff, because they are so caring toward dogs. Our dog's paw nails grow quickly and the staff always does a great job of cutting her nails short without hurting her. Recently, our dog developed a nasty infected skin-tag and Dr. Pisano effectively removed it. We want the best for our dog, and believe she is well taken care of at VCA Hillsboro.
