Shiny Fish Emporium

This store is as charming as can be! It's my absolute favorite on the island, and I visit it every year. Shiny Fish Emproium has the most perfectly curated collection of treasures. There are new things to discover each time I step in. You're sure to discover something that makes you smile... a clever greeting card, a charming trinket, or the perfect gift.

During my recent visit to Anna Maria, visiting the Shiny Fish Emporium was at the top of my list. I had heard so many stories about what a fun shop it is! The rumors were true! This happy, whimsical store is filled with so many special items and beautiful must-haves. Plus, you can paint your own starfish! What a fun vacation memory! I found myself taking several laps around the shop, each time finding something new to admire. The store is beautiful and merchandise is displayed in such a way that you can't help but want to see more. The store also smells good and I late found out that they will be releasing a custom candle that captures the fragrance of the shop. The jewelry displays are stunning and filled with such a variety of treasures (for both adults and children). As a tourist, I loved the Florida-themed items (dishes, tea towels, shirts, and more). Sparkly Christmas ornaments hung from little branches near the doorway. Whimsical stationary, silly notecards, bath bombs, tropical scented body products, purses, and so much more filled the shelves. There's an entire section of the store dedicated to beautiful clothing (for adults, children, and infants). It was so much fun to sift through everything. There were so many brihgt and soft fabrics. Women were lined up trying things on in the fitting room. The cashier at the front was so sweet and patient, willing to answer questions and share more about the products in the store. There was a large table dedicated to high-end children's toys (brands like Tender Leaf, Maileg, etc.). I also noticed that mochi ice cream was available (but I didn't try it - next time!). I also did not have a chance to paint a sand dollar, though I really wanted to! I will definitely be back the next time I visit AMI.

This place!!! Oh you have to go here. Super fun and completely decked out. I didn’t want to leave! I got some amazing earrings and some really cute sunglasses. Ooh! And you can even paint a sand dollar. Yeah you need to go here!

Seriously one of the most beautiful little shops I’ve ever been in. Was blown away by the decor and colors alone. They have a wide variety of things for all ages. A true little gem on the island.

This place is amazing. It is not your average tourist gift shop. It's a carnival for the senses and a great place to discover toys and items that are more higher-end heirloom quality. Also a great place to sit and paint with your family. If you want a post card or knick knack there's plenty of that on Island. If you want an experience and want something a little more special to bring back home stop in here. The owners are sweet and laid back.

Sand dollar painting was a lot of fun. Well worth the price to relax and do something that is specific to single location. Owners were very friendly and kind.

The experience of painting sand dollars here is one of a kind! Would definitely recommend for cute gifts and beach vibes.

I showed up yesterday at 4p and was just so excited to stumble upon this modern bohemian shop! Then I heard from the sweet man behind the counter that they usually close at 4p but not to worry he would keep the shop open longer for us. I later found out it was the owner's son. He was so nice and gracious! I was excited to learn they have a sand dollar art class there and can't wait to take my 7 year old at some point. We later went to another shop and quickly told "we close in 15 mins" It was a cold and short delivery- needless to say I didn't stay long bc why would I want to buy anything here anyways.

We were at AMI Island during Christmas week. The crowds were intense. A lot of the area businesses had employees who were very curt. Not the case with the Shiny Fish! They treated us so kindly, were accommodating, and quick. This is the best business on the island as far as I am concerned. Try the sand dollar painting!

Can't say enough about Dan! He's a good enough reason to visit, but painting our own sand dollars is an amazing experience too! They have lots of knick knacks, gift options, some snacks, and great stories!

My kids LOVED this place! They walked in and eyed the ukuleles in the tree and insisted they each had to have one! So I guess they are starting a band 🤣. Daddy bought them instruments, mommy had art class with them and painted silver dollars. Mama also got a beautiful ring there.

A great experience for the kids, they loved painting their sand dollars! Definitely a keepsake they’ll have forever. My daughter even dropped hers walking out and it did not break!

Great family owned business!! Had so much fun and the ice cream bubbles (mochi) are so yummy!

There is a bunch of cool stuff at the shiny fish emporium. Everyone is very kind and it is very welcoming. 10 out of 10 recommend!

My most favorite shop on the island! The Shiny Fish just transports me to Fantasyland! I could spend hours just looking around in there! They have the most unique and unusual items! Their clothing is to die for, and if you need a baby gift, this is the place to go! Rebecca, the owner, is the sweetest! I make sure and take all my company here‼

My sister was visiting from PA and we went to Shiney Fish on her birthday. It was amazing and one of the highlights of her visit! We painted sand dollars and had ice cream bubbles! This will definitely be a spot to take visitors. Keep up the great work!
