Best Gift Idea Ever John’s Pass

This is a great little shop with a unique gift idea. Don’t pass this gem up. Locally owned and operated. First time I stopped was 2018 to get a gift and Monica was a great help and fun to talk too. She also recommended places to eat nearby. I came by last year and got another gift and just as before great service. Since then I’ve popped in a few times just to say hello to Monica. She is the best and always has great advice for things to do nearby. I’ll be back for sure!

One of our favorite shops in John's Pass. We have purchased their framed letter pictures for our house and also have purchased them as gifts for multiple other friends and family members. They look great hanging in almost any home and they make a great house warming gift, marriage gift, Mother's Day, whatever the occasion. Pricing for the store to mat and frame your picture may sound a little expensive at first mention, but if you have ever attempted to frame anything like this with matting, especially something with so many separate pieces, then you soon realize that this is great price that they offer for the frame and matting service. Here is another idea, though: my brother bought several of the individual letter pictures and took them home, framed them invidually, and he hangs the pictures to spell out whatever he wants. That's a unique twist, and an option to consider when you are shopping in there on a lower budget. The shop also has a wide variety of designer knock-off sunglasses at reasonable prices and that's the main reason for us stopping by so frequently. We buy new sunglasses from Best Gift Idea on almost every vacation to John's Pass.

Just visited this shop with my aunt. We each got something of our own. This place is very unique. The owner is super nice and patient. They sell sunglasses and have a large display of photos used to spell out whatever you like. It’s a personable gift which I absolutely love. We’ll be back for sure!

Monica is the best!!! She is an absolute gem to have there to represent your company. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t leave her a tip on the machine, turn on this feature so she can be rewarded for her great service to your customers. Thank you for all your help! BEST Gift idea

Loved this store!!

Great gift idea. Bought one today. Only problem is the $12 a letter price was supposedly the advertised special price which was 20% off. Guess they forgot that I'd been in there several times over the last few months when the regular price was exactly the same as today's discount. Still a great gift but obviously a tourist trap. Multiple "designer" sunglasses on sale today for $5 a pair. Obvious knockoffs on close inspection.

I purchased 10 pairs of glasses here: when we checked out, the cashier tried stuffing them all in one bag. I asked for more bags so that they would break and scratch. (After leaving and taking them out of the bag, we found that 3 pairs did get scratched up.). She refused the extra bags. When I asked to return them she said their was a no return policy. So, beware!!! Even if they damage your product before you leave the shop, they will not allow a return.

Returned to my condo 30 minutes after the purchase and found this at the bottom of my small bag stuffed full of sunglasses. (See photo)

Was in there 11/13/19 in the morning. Woman working there was extremely rude and unhelpful. Scratched glasses, nothing to clean them with to check if they were scratched and was told to use my shirt. Went through 3 sets and left because of small scratches and her bad attitude. Wont be back!

I don’t know what the woman who works in this place problem is but she has one. Unbelievably rude and disrespectful. My second time walking in this place. I really wanted to buy something I had in mind but I just couldn’t stand her condescending attitude.
