VIP Mexican American Cuisine T.I.

All the staffs were very friendly and attentive. Enchiladas were really great and nachos also so delicious. Not too salty. Very well marinated/ pulled chicken and pork were especially impressive. Recommend margarita. Last not the least. Cost effective. :-)

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here & I was craving it!!! Started with a mini order of chips & salsa and guacamole - sooo good. Also had the mini chicken taco salad & the tamale platter. Finished with some churros for dessert.

This is a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and they get busy. We got there just before noon and got an inside table. But expect a wait because it’s a popular place.

Went here for lunch. Absolutely awesome on all levels. Super friendly bartenders, exceptional service, tacos were absolutely the best!! As a former bar/grill owner this place is doing it right!! Great job guys!!!

I have loved this little local Mexican restaurant for a long time. I’ve had them cater an event, I’ve eaten nachos at the bar, had lots of fun dinners and dates at the gritty little high top tables. You don’t come here if you are a Karen (although the food is impeccable) you come here for a fun time with cool people and really good Mexican food.

The atmosphere is a little loud/crowded, however, the food is absolutely worth it. This was some of the best truly authentic and flavorful Mexican food that I've ever had. Even there chips and salsa were just amazing. So fresh! I had the hillbilly bowl with chicken, rice, and cilantro and everything about it was fresh, juicy, and delicious! They have really good margaritas as well!

200% Recommend! Food, atmosphere, and service were on point! Food had authentic Mexican taste! D was amazing, she went above and beyond to give us great service!!!

Can say enough about this place. Margaritas are next level. Mini Size dishes are perfect. Price is reasonable

This is a hidden gem on Treasure Island. It's right beside Ricky T's. It doesn't look like much, but never read a book by its cover. Authentic Mexican Food and the Margarita are delicious. This restaurant is a must visit.

Food was great and so were the drinks. Definitely coming back here. FYI be prepared to come early, there is usually a wait(limited seating hence the VIP).

Great food! The servers were efficient and friendly. We were a party of 4 and everything we ordered was top notch.

Very busy but we had a short wait. Margaritas were delicious and so was the food. In and outdoor seating. Full bar but they seat you at the bar... its not open seating. Salsa is the chunks not the dipping kind and looked and tasted freshly made.

FANTASTIC FOOD!!!!! We had the 3 Amigos appetizer, chicken fajitas, stark fajitas and a Mexican pizza. Really good food!!!! Hefty portions as well. The Teremana Margarita are great and strong. It's a lively environment for dinner. VIP will be a regular stop when we are in town. LOVE IT!!!!

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. What a refreshing take on service. The gentleman that seated us was very polite and inside while seated, all the waitresses worked together as a team to make sure all the patrons were cared for. The food was fresh and the drinks were refreshing. I recommend stopping in for a bite and a beverage!

With a consistent menu with periodic additions, the food at VIP Mexican - American Cuisine is hands down the best Mexican food you will find in the area!

Located literally right next to Ricky T's, and across the street from the Bilmar and Sloppy Joe's, VIP is easy to miss as you drive by, so keep your eyes open and come in for some delicious and authentic Mexican food. Make sure to have a margarita or two during your visit.

Live music on the patio will keep your toes tapping. The fabulous food will fill you up and leave you with leftovers for tomorrow!

Seating can be at a premium. No reservations here, it's first come first served. The long bar seats 15 to 18 people with tables adjacent. Sometimes it's a tight fit as the throngs of loyal followers partake! Larger groups will want to sit out back on the patio, or head to their second location in Indian Rocks Beach.

You have to walk THROUGH the kitchen to access the restrooms and patio. It's okay, it's all part of the VIP experience!!

Loved going here. Great vibe, inside and outside bar. Delicious food. I like seeing small sizes because we could order more of a variety of food. We loved the smaller size pizza 😋 and their well mentioned wet burrito. We took home scrumptious Churros!! We'll definitely be back and for those out-of-towners staying at the beach ...you've got to try VIP, you won't be disappointed!!

Really good food at a reasonable price. It's a small bar/restaurant but does have about 6 outdoor tables as well as some tables indoors. Service was good and fast. Server told us food is prepped fresh every day. Will definitely eat there....many times!

Extremely busy and small. The parking is insane, that's a Treasure Island and St. Pete issue everywhere. The drinks are very strong and very reasonably priced. The food was EXCEPTIONAL and Very inexpensive. My husband got the Chili-Releno's I had a Chicken Chimichanga and we started with the TRIO which was ....Chips with Salsa, Queso and Incredible Guacamole! Five different people told us to go there...we're glad we went!

VIP is absolutely amazing. The food is great, great prices,and great staff. There is always a wait here but definitely worth it. The Mexican pizza is a must try. Also if you're in the mood for and adult beverage the margaritas are great also!

Fantastic food with very friendly staff. Place is small inside so be prepared to eat outside if you come during more busy hours. Loud but fun.
