Sloppy Joe's on the Beach

Kelly the server was over the top amazing! The food was delicious and the location was also amazing. The birds are pretty vicious in the outdoor seating but the servers help you figure it out. The views are really great and if I didn't have 3 loud kids I'm sure it would be peaceful.

The food was really unique and tasty. I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. And I hope to have Kelly again.

This was my first visit to this location in St. Petersburg, Florida. What an amazing place! Sitting out on the patio overlooking the beach, eating and drinking while listening to a guitarist perform live on the deck was something spectacular. Service at this location was fast and friendly, all food and drinks were amazing and appropriately priced. The overall location was very clean and easy to get to, I would not hesitate in recommending others to visit it. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely Stop in.

Loved this place. Great food with many good options I couldn’t decide what to get. Atmosphere was great, place was cute, clean & well kept with an ocean view. Service was great too, our server was Melissa. Would totally go here again!

Background: We were visiting Tampa for the weekend and decided to visit Treasure island. My dad was starving so I had to find food immediately - and we stumbled upon this hidden gem.

Location: it's right next to the parking lot we parked in. It's very casual setting.

Parking: I believe they have valet, we parked in the lot a few doors down for $10.

Service: No wait for a table, no reservations - our server was pretty busy so I feel she did great for the amount of tables she had.

Ambience/Crowd: it's casual and family friendly

Food/drink : 10/10 , food was great - we had southwest egg rolls, surf n turf burger, clam chowder, fettuccine Alfredo (12323/10 - soooo good!!), fish n chips and grilled fish sandwich.

Will I be back? And Why - yes! It was a pretty good experience

Good food and friendly service right on the beach! We had our dog so we sat out on the patio and they brought a dog dish with water. Everyone enjoyed their food in our party. This is my favorite grouper sandwich. Definitely a place we bring friends from out of town. Best of all, Hemingway gave the place its name!

Live music, not too loud and pleasant to listen to. Considerable amount of outdoor seating with a sunset view. Spacious indoor seating with large group sized seating. Booths tables and a bar. Large screen TVs @ bar. Very cool place for a group of people wanting to socialize.

This is our new favorite place on the beach! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would. We came by on a Friday night without a reservation. We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers. They seated us outside right away although the wait was supposedly 30-40 minutes. Our waitress came over right away and she was super friendly and accommodating. Food came out pretty fast even though the place was packed. And all of it was delicious! We were impressed with the drinks as well. There are quite a bunch of places on the beach that have overpriced generic food and diluted drinks, but not this one! They also had live music and a big outside area on the sand with lots of games. We were very impressed with the overall quality of this place and it was our first time there. We will definitely be back soon and highly recommend you go check it out for yourself!

Very good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Very accommodating and the view is incredible. The food is phenomenal and there is something for everyone on their menu. The seafood is to die for, on top of the gorgeous views it's hard to beat. This is one of our favorite restaurants to come to. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area of all ages!!!

Great place to watch the Super Bowl! Fun crowd, plenty of cold brews on tap and full bar. Spencer was awesome….very attentive and polite.
Food was delicious! We had the wings and grouper bites both of which we recommend!

We stayed a week at The Bilmar Beach Resort for a week in January. Sloppy Joe’s on the Beach is connected to the resort, which was really convenient. They had great food with pretty reasonable prices. They also had a pretty good happy hour deal for drinks, which we took advantage of a few times throughout the week. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here at least once during the week! Pictured are the following menu items: irish nachos, classic eggs benedict, breakfast bowl, and blackened chicken pasta. Not pictured, but probably the best thing I ate there all week was the Cuban, and my husband’s favorite was the fish and chips!

Great spot with excellent brunch and dinner! Beautiful views right by the beach. Their bloody mary’s are great. The banana foster french toast is delicious as well. There are healthier options as well. I loved the grits and yogurt and granola bowl. The garden omelet with a fruit bowl, and toast or English muffin are also very good. You can’t go wrong here and the views are incredible of the beach. Indoor and outdoor seating. We always come here for breakfast.

Awesome atmosphere, sitting on the beach for the sunsets! Wings and Buffalo chicken sandwich are both great options!

Stopped in for breakfast and dinner while staying at a hotel 2 blocks away. Dined outdoors for breakfast with a view of the beach....watch the birds. Dined indoors at the bar for dinner. Service was top-notch. Both bartenders were friendly and very attentive. Dinner (glazed salmon) was delicious!

We went to Sloppy Joe's for their menu selections of more than just seafood as well as the location, which is on the beach. We were seated out on the deck facing the beach... Wow. Luckily some clouds rolled in so the sun was diffused which enhanced the sunset. You can't beat this view over dinner. They do have inside dining if you prefer. The dining area is elevated above the walkway and beach so you never feel like people are watching you eat. There was pleasant live music as well. The food was great! We had the pork nachos and the surf and turf burger. We went with the brownie sundae for dessert. We were able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed to leave. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we didn't even get their signature dish.

You have to check this place out! Awesome beach atmosphere, great food and awesome drinks! The staff was amazing and it felt like a vacation for breakfast! Try the Irish coffee, holy smokes was it good (and strong)! Definitely worth checking out! I'm going back asap!

Love there Sloppy Joe burger but I think the Shrimp firecracker is the best. Just wished shrimp cracker was a little larger portion. The place was a little crowded as there was the Sandingovation event at the beach and it’s a weekend. But this place is so convenient as it is by the beach boardwalk. It certainly gives a great view of the water especially during sunset. Very clean and the service was great despite the crowd.

Very beautiful place to have your breakfast morning time . The air was magical little windy early mornings just fine 😇🥰 I feel blessed to discover this amazing place . Check it out if you are on treasure island 🏝 or st Pete beach

We had dinner last night. It was my second time. Each time, I’m surprised by the quality of the food (for a restaurant located in a touristy zone). Drinks are good too. The sunset from the restaurant is incredible! Best place in town to watch it!
Last night a waitress, called JaNique who was running our area, had such a great and positive energy, it was contagious. She made the whole floor dance and clap (and I’m not usually an easy one to entertain!). We need more of those positive human beings in the world right now! Bravo JaNique!

Everything is good but prices are a little higher than others around it. But still enjoyable food and service at the three meals we ate there.

Had a great dining experience. They were backed up but we were able to order a cocktail and play some beach games while we waited. The food was good, came out fast and not too overpriced for being an on the beach restaurant. Would eat here again if walking along the beach.
