New General Cafe & Coffee Bar

Store is tucked in a cute corner of downtown Winter Garden. The store has a very modern look and the food does not disappoint. A little pricey but it's quality ingredients. The staff was very helpful and always staying busy keeping the place nice and tidy. If you are in town this is a great place to stop and relax.

Pricey but absolutely worth it. Had a vegan iced Mokka with Pistachio milk: super tasty. A vegan chocolate banana bread: highly recommend. A vegan breakfast sandwich with almond tofu and aioli: mind blown. Unclear how something that looks so simple can taste that good! And I'm not even vegan. I need to come back and taste everything else!

I visited this cute coffee shop, New General, to get some work done the other day. The atmosphere is perfect if you need a place to focus. But heads up, snagging a seat with a plug nearby for your gadgets can be a bit of a struggle.

I'll admit, I was a bit iffy about whether or not the food would be worth it, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was way beyond what I expected - tasty and seriously filling. The coffee was also delicious!

What's cool is they're not just about the coffee and food. They've got these other items for sale, like household goods. It's a neat touch and adds some character!

One thing, though, parking in Winter Park can be a bit of hassle. There's a lot nearby, but you know how it goes, sometimes you might end up circling a bit for that sweet street parking.

I really enjoyed my visit here and the service offered. I look forward to coming back!

I LOVE good breakfast food, and it's even better when i don't have to ask if food can be subsituted for gluten-free because many items on the menu just are. from hearty breakfast crepe to a slice of chocolate banana bread... wonderful place, and we will be going back!

This place is neat inside with a good amount of seating. It has a very clean, modern look which is nice. The employees were friendly, and the coffee tasted great. I got the pumpkin cider latte, and it was delicious.

Great veggie forward restaurant that offers vegan options. Their coffee drinks are also really good. My go to is the Vegan Brekkie Sandwich but I sometimes change it up with whatever the season vegan crepe or pancakes are.

Good coffee and food. The sandwich could have been a bit warmer but overall it was a decent experience.

Standard Coffee was excellent. Girlfriend got something froo-froo with espresso and flavored which was also excellent.
Nice atmosphere, but not much seating and didn’t love the layout. Upon walking in the register is right there, if there’s a line then you have to work to the back of it and stand directly behind anyone sitting at the little countertop bar near window.
Final verdict - enjoyed coffee, and would go back.

Great gluten-free avocado toast! The clean minimalist atmosphere is refreshing and the earl gray tea was brewed perfectly. Their goldenmilk latte did not disappoint.

New General is such a cute little café/store right off of Park Avenue. Not only does it have a wonderful atmosphere; the food tastes amazing too! We went here for the first time for lunch today and it exceeded expectations entirely. We ordered the iced strawberry basil espresso, iced Earl grey tea (with a bit of honey), the mushroom cheese melt, and the pesto chicken panini.

The iced strawberry basil espresso was AWESOME! I love unique-flavored coffee drinks, and this is exactly what I was wanting. Sweet, but you could still taste the strawberry and basil there - really good! The iced Earl grey was exactly what an Earl grey tea should taste like - no complaints there. The mushroom cheese melt was SO good - gooey, great-tasting bread, and not too greasy. And the same went for the pesto chicken panini: definitely one of the better paninis of this type I’ve ever had before. The meals came with these wonderfully-seasoned potato wedges and an aioli sauce that was awesome. We literally dipped everything in the aioli - 10/10 for that! And the best thing about this place is they use much healthier ingredients than most restaurants, so you don’t have to feel bad about yourself getting something like a cheesy sandwich because you know the ingredients are more local, better for you, and way less chemicals.

New General sells some other things as well in their store. Items are good enough I’d literally come back even if I wasn’t planning to get anything! There are cooking instruments, coffee, healthy drinks, local teas, medicines and tinctures, and so much more. Everything was super cute and would look great in any house!

All in all, this is a fantastic place in Winter Park, and we are so happy we found it. Everything tasted great, food came out fast, and the whole place itself just made you feel bright and happy. I can’t wait to go back!

A tad crunchy for me, but I can see how a place like this does well in a college town like Winter Park. Tasty menu, nice staff and an eclectic take on many Cafe items.

I love it here. The service is exceptional, and it's a mellow atmosphere. The food is mostly good. However, I was disappointed with the chocolate banana bread. It was overwhelmingly chocolate cake with unchopped walnuts and no banana taste in sight. I do hope the sous chef works on that recipe again.

Cute spot in Winter Park for coffee and healthy brunch options! We stopped by after shopping at the Saturday farmer's market. Food smelled lovely, and there were plenty of vegan and gluten free options. Only got the cappuccino this time, which was delicious, but looking forward to trying food next time. Service was friendly and prices are reasonable for the location.

The ambiance is perfect. So many healthy option. The only place that serves warm NON CAFFEINATED beverages— amazing! And so many gluten free options. Absolutely delicious, healthy, cozy, and friendly. Good job!

This place is amazing! Very nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a nice place for studying or working with free WIFI. Ordered the mushroom crepe with chicken and avocado add-ons. Also ordered the golden latte. The food came out in just a few minutes and the latte was ready almost immediately, and they bring your food to you when you dine in. Their food is sososo yummy. They have a selection that is very unique. Staff was very nice and almost everyone had a smile on their face when greeting you or making eye contact. Ended up taking a chai tea latte to go as well! Food can seem a bit expensive but it is so worth it

This place will be my favorite brunch place in winter park!! I ordered breakfast burrito and it was 100/100. The atmosphere is good, I had a great time there!!

The best food I have ever eaten, nutritious and delicious. I'm a fan, you have to come eat healthy, clean and delicious. 100% recommended 💯

Both food and drinks are excellent! I got the breakfast burrito and the frittata, the breakfast burrito is better.

I also got a matcha latte and a vanilla latte, both are great!!

Had an amazing breakfast here! Plenty of options for anyone eating gluten free or dairy free. Lovely atmosphere and not a long wait on a early Saturday morning! Will definitely be back!
